My Flea Market Find and the Story of the Game & Watch (Patreon)

Today I’m posting a video I really cared about. A few months ago, at a flea market, I came across something I never expected to find: a few Game & Watch units hidden among old remote controls and forgotten toys. They were in rough shape, probably not even working, but I couldn’t leave them behind.

That little discovery became the video you’ll find below. I talk about the origins of the Game & Watch, how an idea born almost by accident ended up changing the history of handheld gaming and leaving a mark that’s still visible today. While working on the script, I realized just how revolutionary these devices were, despite their apparent simplicity.

I hope you enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed making it. Thank you for supporting my channel and allowing me to bring pieces of gaming history back to life.

A video about restoring the Game & Watch units I found will also be coming soon to my YouTube channel.
