Hello everyone!

I'm incredibly happy to announce that v0.5.0 is finally packaged and ready to play. I'm sorry it took a bit longer than usual, but this update is absolutely packed with new content and underlying systems. I'm confident it will be worth the wait!

Quick note on the public release: Normally, I just make these early-access posts public after two weeks. However, because I want to include some explicit preview images in this one, this post will remain permanently locked to Patrons to abide by Patreon's guidelines. I'll make a separate, safe-for-work post for the free public release in two weeks!

Let's get right to the (HUGE) list of changes and additions!

🎮 New Features

💰 Token Economy

Players now receive a daily allowance of tokens, the currency used throughout the game.

Tokens can be earned by working part-time jobs on campus. Two jobs are currently available: Cafeteria Worker (Noon shifts) and Gym Cleaner (Evening/Night shifts).

Pay scales based on how much AP you spend working a shift - the more dedicated the shift, the better the pay.

If you misbehave, your allowance can be cut in half as a penalty for a set number of days. Repeat offenses stack and extend the duration (note: currently, there are only two instances where this can happen - this feature is not fully implemented).

Old saves will automatically receive retroactive tokens based on how many days have passed in that playthrough.

🎒 Inventory System

New Inventory screen, accessible from the HUD at any time.

Tracks all items in your possession and lets you consume food/drinks or give gifts directly from it.

A contextual "Gift…" button appears in the inventory when a Love Interest is in the same location.

🛍️ Shops & Gifting

Campus shops are now open for business in the Cafeteria: buy food and drinks to restore AP and Climax charges. Items are limited to once per time block.

A flower shop on campus sells a variety of mundane and fantastical bouquets that can be gifted to Love Interests. Each LI has a favorite flower that gives bonus stats when gifted.

Chocolate boxes can be given as gifts - they remove a Love Interest's anger, or restore one of their Climax charges if they're already in a good mood.

Generic gifts (flowers, chocolate) can only be accepted once per day.

🏙️ Leisure Ward

A new magical destination accessible via the Teleportation Circle in campus grounds.

The Leisure Ward is a floating street block filled with shops, services, and date locations.

New shops available immediately:

Sex Shop - sells adult toys (butt plugs, vibe eggs, dildos, nipple tape, pussy tape, ball gags).

Lingerie Store - sells black lace lingerie sets for Verity.

Clothing Store - carries a new black slit dress available for Verity.

Tattoo Parlor - offers a selection of tattoos and piercings for Verity. Each service can only be purchased once.

🎁 Gift Reactions

Verity now has unique reaction dialogues for every giftable item, including cases where she refuses the gift and hands it back due to low stats or already owning it.

For Verity to change into her new clothes, you need to set new outfits for her via the wardrobe system by talking to her and picking Appearance -> Wardrobe.

🔌 Sex Accessories

All giftable sex toys have full in-game functionality:

Butt Plug - Can be inserted/removed via dialogue or a dedicated HUD button during sex. Wearing it passively builds up Verity's anal readiness over time. Blocks anal interactions while worn during sex, but grants pleasure bonuses to vaginal sex. Verity can be asked to always wear it.

Vibe Egg - Can be attached via dialogue or a dedicated HUD button during sex. Verity will control the intensity randomly, or the player can ask to keep the remote, in which case they gain full control over it. Higher intensity = more pleasure gained while traveling and during sex. Verity will randomly text you asking to adjust the intensity or for vibe-related dirty talk. A dedicated Vibrator Remote button appears on the HUD when you have the remote.

Ball Gag - Can be put on Verity or on MC during sex. Blocks oral interactions (and dirty talking if worn by the player), muffling dialogue into grunts and moans. High-dominance Verity may force MC to wear it without asking. Both gags are automatically removed when sex ends.

Nipple Tape - Wearable in and out of sex. Can be put on via intimacy dialogue or a HUD button during sex. Verity can be asked to always wear it.

Pussy Tape - Wearable in and out of sex. Blocks all vaginal interactions during sex scenes while worn. Verity can be asked to always wear it.

Buttless Panties - Function exactly like regular panties, except they are not automatically removed when starting anal-related actions (penetration, fingering, annilingus). They are still stripped when starting vaginal actions.

Dildo - Increases the chance that Verity will masturbate in private, and she will visually use it on herself if she has vaginal or anal experience.

🚪 Door Event System

Verity now gives you the Staff Quarters key at the end of her 250 Affinity event (moved up from the 750 event), so you can visit her quarters much sooner.

Visiting Verity's quarters no longer requires a key. You now arrive at a closed door and can choose to knock, try the handle (50/50 if she's inside), use your key (if she gave you one), or leave.

When knocking, Verity will greet you at the door and you can ask to come in, suggest going somewhere else together, or just say hi.

If Verity is inside and the moment is right, you may catch her masturbating, triggering a special scene where you can choose to enter quietly and watch, barge in, knock, or leave. Her dialogue and behavior afterward will acknowledge it.

🗓️ Dating System

You can now ask Verity out on a date - via the Flirt dialogue menu, or through a new "Invite to date" button in her phone chat.

Dates follow a structured flow: you pick two activities across two locations, then choose how to end the night.

Date locations available: Campus Lake, Woods, Arcade, Movie Theater, Nightclub, Spa, Restaurants, Dive Bar, MC's dorm room, and the Luxury Hotel (for a night-ending sleepover option).

Each location has multiple activities to choose from, and Verity has strong preferences about what she likes and doesn't like.

If you take Verity to your dorm room, her quarters, or a luxury hotel at the end of a successful date, she will temporarily be more open to trying new positions and sexual interactions during that sex scene.

Picking her favorite locations and activities throughout the date event will make it easier for her to accept your sexual advances.

Dates can only happen once per day per Love Interest.

⚡ Tweaks & Adjustments

Cafeteria full meal now fully restores Climax charges instead of AP, building the theme of food = restore climax, caffeine = restore AP.

"Have a Coffee" in the mornings now correctly counts against the daily consumption limit.

Conversation topics (small talk, compliments, etc.) can now only be used once per time block - no more spamming the same compliment repeatedly.

Verity will put on her daily outfit when accepting invites to hang out. This ensures she's wearing appropriate clothes when hanging out in public (e.g., she will no longer show up in her pajamas if you invite her to hang out at the library at night).

Verity will refuse outdoor hangout invites during the day (she's a vampire, after all).

Verity will stop following you if time advances into a block where she has work (though she will say her goodbyes first).

Position switching frequency was tweaked and a stuck variable was fixed that caused switching to gradually stop triggering entirely over time.

The reddened cheeks overlay (from slapping during missionary) was reworked so it no longer re-plays its animation every time you interact with the left-column buttons during sex.

Dirty talk is now capped at 5 uses per sex scene across all positions (blowjob was previously uncapped).

Dirty talk now costs 0.1 AP per use across all sex scenes.

Made it a little harder to unlock Verity's grinding, vaginal, and anal scenes in Missionary (they will now require slightly higher stats, but you can access them earlier with a successful enough date).

After sex ends, AP is rounded up to the nearest integer to avoid edge cases where 0.8 AP still shows as 0.

A one-time use "cheat" option is now available from MC's dorm interactions, granting exactly enough tokens to purchase every currently unique item in the game (placeholder while there's no other way to speed up token gain).

🐛 Bug Fixes

Fixed the sex position switching system reaching a state where it gradually stopped triggering due to a variable that was never reset.

Fixed a crash (NameError: 'veritycrotch' is not defined) that occurred when certain flirt interactions were triggered from specific event contexts.

Fixed a bug where Verity's wet crotch visuals were being removed when entering the sex hub menu.

Fixed Verity spawning naked at work due to an issue with her work outfit definition.

Fixed waking up in MC's dorm after sleeping over in Verity's quarters.

Fixed a bug where Verity would keep following the player overnight if you had her as a follower before sleeping.

Fixed buttless panties not being removed automatically in vaginal missionary scenes.

Fixed the Missionary auto-undress not triggering correctly when Verity asked to switch positions.

Fixed various grammar and phrasing issues across multiple dialogues and scenes.

📝 Bug Reports & Feedback

As you can see from the sheer length of the changelog, this update was massive. I introduced a bunch of brand-new, complex systems. While I tested them extensively, I'm sure I've missed a few.

If you bump into an error, a bug, or any behavior you think might be unintended, I'd really appreciate it if you could report it to me! The best place to do this is on the game's Discord server, but leaving a comment here or messaging me directly is also totally fine.
