⚠️ IMPORTANT — READ BEFORE USING v10.5

If this is your first time using my mod, please start a new career. But if you have already been using my mod (v8 to this newer version) in your save file, you don’t need to start a new career — you can continue playing normally.

NEVER PLAY YOUR SAVE FILE WITHOUT THE MOD.

What’s changes in v 10.5:

Player wages

Player wages have been rebalanced to better reflect real-life football wage structures while still keeping Career Mode playable and balanced.

Wages now scale more realistically based on:

Player overall rating

Age and career stage

Position

League strength

Club prestige

Club profitability

Top players will now demand higher wages, especially in stronger leagues and bigger clubs, while smaller clubs and lower leagues will have more controlled wage structures. This makes contracts feel more meaningful and prevents every club from being able to afford unrealistic salaries too easily.

Elite attackers and superstar players are still the most expensive to keep, but goalkeepers, defenders, fullbacks, and defensive midfielders are no longer undervalued as heavily as before. This creates a more believable contract market where every position has fairer wage value.

The wage system is now more realistic than the original game, but not too extreme. It is designed to reflect the modern football wage hierarchy without destroying long-term Career Mode balance.

Morale

The morale system has also been rebalanced to make player happiness feel more logical and less frustrating.

Players now react more realistically to:

Playing time

Squad role

Contract situation

Team performance

Match importance

Form

Being played out of position

Important players and star players will expect proper minutes, especially in big matches. However, rotation players, bench players, and reserves should now behave more fairly, especially during low-importance matches where rotation makes sense.

Low-priority matches are now better for squad rotation, while critical matches matter more for key players. This means players should no longer complain as randomly, but they will still become unhappy if they are ignored, underpaid, played out of position, or excluded from important games.

Team chemistry and morale are also harder to max out, making long-term squad management more realistic. Good results, strong form, and smart rotation still help morale, but the whole squad will no longer stay happy too easily for an entire season.

Career Mode Start Date

Career Mode now starts in 2026, giving the save a more updated and modern starting point.

Player Growth

Player growth has been rebalanced to make long-term development feel more realistic.

Does starting career mode in 2026 mean that we're no longer able to play the World Cup at the end of the first season?

Arrowspace

whenever i last used this mod, the player overalls went up incredibly fast and even more so for the youth academy. Will you your academy players no longer go up 10 overall ratings in 1 season?

Arrowspace

I find it nice that the players are able to push past their normal potential, but some go up 10-16 overalls in one season, which is a little conflicting when I want to do a youth academy rebuild.
