It is finally here!
A More Realistic, Tactical, Physical and Intelligent Football Experience.
AGT GAMEPLAY FC27 is an extensive gameplay overhaul designed to transform EA SPORTS FC27 into a more realistic, challenging and immersive football simulation.
This mod reworks hundreds of gameplay configuration files, covering player movement, physics, tactical AI, attacking and defensive positioning, passing, shooting, heading, dribbling, goalkeeper behaviour, crossing, set pieces, match ratings, ball physics and much more.
The main objective is simple: make FC27 feel more like real football.
Players should feel different based on their abilities. Teams should play with greater tactical intelligence. Physical challenges should feel meaningful, and successful football should depend on positioning, timing, decision-making and individual quality.
Instead of simply increasing difficulty or changing gameplay speed, AGT GAMEPLAY rebuilds the relationships between different gameplay systems to create a more natural football experience.
1. Realistic Player Movement & Heavy Physics
Player movement has been extensively rebalanced to feel more natural, physical and responsive.
Heavier player movement with more realistic momentum.
Reworked acceleration, deceleration and directional changes.
Reduced unnatural skating and instant turning.
Smoother transitions between running, turning and dribbling.
Improved responsiveness without removing the feeling of player weight.
More realistic physical contact and shoulder-to-shoulder challenges.
Improved stumbling, falling, balance and recovery behaviour.
Better interaction between player movement, physical strength and agility.
Greater differences between fast, strong, agile and less mobile players.
Players should feel like actual footballers with physical limitations rather than characters who can instantly change direction without losing momentum.
2. Smarter Tactical AI & Team Intelligence
The tactical AI has received extensive adjustments to make teams behave more intelligently in both attacking and defensive situations.
Improved attacking and defensive decision-making.
More realistic team positioning and formation discipline.
Better coordination between defenders and midfielders.

Better defensive pressing and containment.
More intelligent movement during attacking and defensive transitions.
Improved passing-lane awareness.
Better off-ball support and positioning.
More realistic differences between tactical approaches.
Improved decision-making based on player attributes and match situations.
The objective is to make football intelligence more important than artificial difficulty.
Teams should become challenging because they use space, maintain their structure and make good decisions, rather than relying on unrealistic physical advantages.
3. Improved Attacking Positioning & Off-Ball Movement
Attacking football is about more than controlling the player with the ball.
AGT GAMEPLAY improves how teammates position themselves, recognize available space and support attacking situations.
More intelligent movement into available passing areas.

More natural support movements from forwards, wingers and attacking midfielders.
Attacking players should provide useful passing options instead of standing still or constantly running forward without considering the situation.
4. Better Defensive Positioning, Marking & Pressing
Defending has been reworked to emphasize positioning, anticipation, organization and physical ability.
Improved defensive marking distances.
More intelligent marking-speed adjustments.
Better defensive recovery movement.
Improved defensive-line coordination.
Rebalanced pressing intensity and duration.
More realistic containment and defensive pressure.
Better reactions to passing lanes and attacking threats.

Better positional discipline when opponents move the ball.
Improved zonal defensive coverage and spacing.
Better coordination between midfielders and the defensive line.
Improved near-goal marking and interception positioning.
Rebalanced offside-line decisions and defensive movement.
Defenders should be effective because they understand their responsibilities and react intelligently, not because the game automatically gives them perfect tackles or interceptions.
Well-organized teams should be harder to break down, while positioning mistakes should create realistic opportunities for attackers.
5. More Meaningful Midfield Battles & Buildup
The midfield is an important part of real football, and AGT GAMEPLAY aims to make it more influential.
Improved support between midfielders and attackers.
Better recognition of available passing options.
More realistic spacing during buildup.
Improved passing-lane awareness and movement.
More balanced transitions between defense and attack.
Greater importance of midfield positioning.
Better opportunities to recycle possession.
Improved team structure during attacking combinations.
More meaningful differences between defensive, central and attacking midfield roles.
Improved support speed and movement based on tactical responsibilities.
Teams should need to work through the midfield instead of every possession immediately turning into an end-to-end counterattack.
Patient passing, smart movement and tactical buildup should be rewarding.
6. Reworked Passing & Ball Distribution
Passing has been rebalanced to feel less automatic and more dependent on player ability, body positioning and timing.
Reduced excessive passing assistance and automatic corrections.
Improved passing responsiveness.
More natural passing speed and ball movement.

Improved heading accuracy to make headers more effective in front of goal.
Better consistency when directing headers toward the target.
More rewarding attacking headers from well-delivered crosses.
Improved opportunities to score from corners and aerial situations.
Greater importance of positioning and timing when attempting headers.
Better balance between heading ability, physical strength and aerial challenges.
More meaningful differences between strong aerial attackers and players with weaker heading attributes.
Previously, heading opportunities could feel underpowered or too inaccurate, making it unnecessarily difficult to score even when the attacker reached the ball in a good position.
With these adjustments, scoring with headers should become easier and more satisfying, especially when the delivery, positioning and timing are good.
Headers are intended to be more dangerous without making every aerial attempt an automatic goal.
10. Completely Reworked Crossing & Corner Kicks
Crossing and corner kicks have received multiple dedicated gameplay rebuilds.
More realistic crossing pace and ball flight.
Significantly reduced excessive ball curvature.
Better synchronization between ball speed and spin.

Improved high, low, early and driven crossing behaviour.
Rebalanced crossing signature abilities.
Improved corner-kick deliveries.
Better opportunities to target teammates.
More natural first-touch reception from crosses.
Improved aerial attacking opportunities through the heading adjustments.
Crosses should travel with believable speed and controlled curvature rather than feeling unnaturally fast, excessively slow or heavily curved.
Combined with the improved heading system, crossing and corner-kick opportunities should become more effective attacking options.
11. Improved Free-Kick & Corner-Kick Trajectory Preview
The set-piece trajectory preview has also been improved to give players better visual information when preparing free kicks and corner kicks.
Extended the visible ball-trajectory preview for free kicks.
Extended the trajectory-preview line for corner kicks.
A longer trajectory line helps players see more of the ball's expected flight path.
Easier to estimate where a free kick is likely to travel.
Better visual guidance when aiming corner-kick deliveries.
Improved ability to judge the direction and expected landing area of set pieces.
More useful trajectory information when preparing curved or lofted deliveries.
The trajectory-preview line is now longer, allowing players to see more of the predicted ball path before taking a free kick or corner kick.
This makes aiming and planning set pieces more convenient while leaving the actual outcome dependent on the player's execution and abilities.
12. More Realistic Physical Challenges & Collisions
Physical interactions have been rebalanced to make tackles, shoulder challenges and player contact feel more believable.
Reworked player-to-player contact physics.
Improved shoulder-challenge strength and momentum.

Better stumbling and falling reactions.
Improved balance and recovery after contact.
More meaningful differences between strong and weak players.
Reduced excessively rigid contact behaviour.
Improved ball reactions during physical challenges.
Rebalanced ragdoll and collision responses.
Physical strength should matter, but it should not guarantee success in every challenge.
Smaller, agile players can still compete through balance and positioning, while stronger players benefit more naturally from their physical advantages.
13. Goalkeeper Gameplay Adjustments
Goalkeeper gameplay has received adjustments across several systems, including positioning, movement, shot reactions and goalkeeper-specific abilities.

Better balance between defensive contributions and mistakes.
Goalkeepers
Improved clean-sheet rewards.
Better recognition of successful saves.
More balanced performance ratings.
Stronger rating penalties for conceding goals and poor performances.
The objective is to make match ratings reflect actual performances rather than excessively rewarding certain positions.
A winger with two assists, a defender with an outstanding defensive performance and a goalkeeper who makes important saves should all have a fair opportunity to receive excellent ratings.

The objective is to create more convincing reactions when the ball strikes the goalposts or enters the net.
17. Stronger Player Individuality & PlayStyle Balance
Not every footballer should move, react or perform identically.
AGT GAMEPLAY places greater emphasis on the relationship between player attributes, physical characteristics, technical abilities and PlayStyles.
Strong players feel more effective in physical situations.
Fast players benefit from their speed without ignoring momentum.
Agile players can change direction more naturally.
Technical players have better control in difficult situations.
Good passers benefit from their passing ability.
Intelligent players benefit from stronger awareness and positioning.
Players with strong heading attributes should be more effective in aerial situations.
Rebalanced interactions between PlayStyles and gameplay mechanics.
More meaningful strengths and weaknesses between different player types.
Elite footballers should feel special because of their abilities, not because the game guarantees every action will succeed.
AGT GAMEPLAY FC27 — THE MAIN PHILOSOPHY
Realistic Football. Intelligent Football. Physical Football.
AGT GAMEPLAY is built around five important principles.
1. Realistic Physics
Players and the ball should behave naturally, with meaningful momentum, weight, balance and physical contact.
2. Intelligent Tactical Football
Teams should use positioning, midfield support, marking, pressing and smart decision-making to gain advantages.
3. Meaningful Player Individuality
A player's attributes, technical ability, physical characteristics and PlayStyles should have a noticeable effect on gameplay.
4. Challenging but Fair AI
The CPU should be competitive through tactical intelligence and realistic football decisions, not artificial advantages, impossible reactions or hidden boosts.
5. Natural Gameplay Variety
Matches should feel different depending on team tactics, player quality, movement, physical situations and the decisions made during the game.
