w reaction, love yall channel

Saekoa

Compared to the usual shows we watch that are either 500 episodes or 5 seasons, this is moving so fast. Well, we still have a movie, and finally a new season coming in July. Not that I want it gone, because I love the anime and voted for it, but it does make a pretty good case for mixing in more 1-2 season shows. Could be nice to usually have at least one shorter anime going, so we can actually get through more stuff, while still keeping longer shows in the rotation too.

Canaries were used in mines because they were far more susceptible to harmful gas than humans so it would give miners a chance to get out. The different forms of movement from the mages like the horse and skis are a reference to some units from different militaries during that time in our timeline. Her doing her conductor dance during the briefing reminded me of Princess Renner after she turned.

when ur done the anime and movie you should react to TANYA: THE ISEKAIED DEMON

TheeChaste

100 Percent agree, long shows are nice, but then you run into the channel having the same shows for like 3 years

Trevor jones

Awesome reaction! Make sure to watch the movie after as it is the next arc after s1

Kosse K

I'm not sure if it'll be on there but I'm hoping 86 will be on this poll. Especially since that's also a short one with 23 episodes and another season coming

I don't know if you noticed the guy figting Tanya his eyes were yellow the same as Tanya when she prays.

From what i remember, the novel, manga and anime are quite different. In the anime we follow how the enemies view her (crazy and evil), in the manga from the Empire's pov (loyal and patriotic) and in the novel from Tanya's persective (normal but swept by the times and surrounded by crazy people). Also a big difference in the novel is that she usuallly doesn't rely on the prayer but her own skill. Btw, i was wondering if you were going to react to the op and ed?

Saekoa

86 is so good! also great show to see reactions to just because of how much emotion it can evoke in people.

TBH The nothern Alliance initiated the war. Also why would Tanya care more about "Dad-man" than any other enemy soldier? City episode is also way more complicated with Republic literally using human shields and stuff. No one comes out of a war like this with clean hands. But yes, this episode is the closest we get to "evil" so far. Actually opening fire on civilians even if they were being used as shields was evil...

I thought I remember Tanyas country tried to make peace with the surrounding countries but it fell through (because of being x)? Thats why the only choice is fighting and winning and is the whole premise of the show... To force Tanya into suffering because she doesnt believe. But Tanya is too good at anything she needs to do, to stay down.

Aizo-Sen

Idk, recently started the novels... hard to see Tanya as evil at all.

Technically not a war crime number 2

Yea using human shields is evil. Ains in the latest movie has the right idea. If you let people think using people as shields or hostages works they will keeps doing it and more people will die as a result if you shoot any way you will discourage that and save many

CaliAlex

This is the episode that cemented the "evil" part for me. I audibly said "there's no way" the first time I watched it. So glad you're watching this!

Argenix 42

Did you ever watch certain magical index? It's really good.

I am disappointed you didn't catch the daughters full name. His last name is Sue, her first name is Maryu, so....Mary Sue anyone?

A canary in a coal mine would signal if the air was toxic, by dying. So the miners in the coal mine would be able to escape before suffering themselves.

Flying devices have different forms for us to distinguish countries by looks, also it a somewhat cultural thing: Impire - machinery: industrial prowess in that period of time France - horse: most known for it's cavalry in history Antante - skies: because it consists of northern countries like Sweden, Norway and Finland. These countries are known to have one of the best snow/winter operating armies in the world (Simo Hayha ring a bell?) UK - actual flying broom: Brit's duh...do I need to spell out the reference?

50:12 - and now you're bullsh..ting things up. The dialogue between "pre-Tanya" and Being X was: Tanya: -If God existed, he would not let such situation to occur (about the murder by train). - In other words, you must be... Being X: - The Devil? Tanya: - Or perhaps something similar, which we could call Being X

DameBerch

For the love of all things holy, you guys better watch the movie

Thankfully there are no modern corollaries to Arene situation…

I don't think Tanya was enjoying the death in destruction. I think she was taking by the absurdity of it all. Being X wanted to saddle her with his morality, and the very world he sent her to is filled with supposedly moral humans engaged in wanton death and destruction. I found this in the dictionary: Sardonic is an adjective that describes a cynical, mocking, or scornful expression, tone, or sense of humor
