I love the soi fon love from you guys. She (used to) get a lot of late. But she is great and has such a good design. Just too strong a personality for some.

I’m not a huge shonen person these days, but I’ll always love Bleach. Kubo is just the GOAT when it comes to style. A lot of modern shonen feels more inspired by Bleach than other older Shonen. Demon Slayer, JJK, and plenty of others have that same cool-factor, visual flair, and sense of aura that Bleach was doing years ago. The fashion was ahead of its time, the character designs still hold up, and the cast is stacked with characters who just look effortlessly cool. Bleach also had a stronger female cast than a lot of early shonen, where women were often sidelined. And Ichigo feels closer to a modern MC than the old “dumb, endlessly optimistic, power of friendship” type. Bleach has flaws, but for style, vibes, and character aura, Kubo is still hard to beat. Too many hot male and female characters to count. And each is distinct in their own way. Oh ya fun fact, since I'm 33 I watched anime on the TV growing up before streaming lol. Bleach came on at like 11 PM AFTER DBZ/Naruto/One piece/etc. It was like the "older teen" anime back then. I couldn't watch it initially cuz it came on too late.

What makes Hitsugaya interesting is that he’s actually a well-written prodigy. He isn’t just a Mary Sue with broken powers. He has insane potential and one of the strongest Zanpakutƍ in the series, but he’s still extremely young for a Soul Reaper and lacks the experience of the older captains. In 100 or 200 years, he’ll probably surpass almost everyone. But right now, a lot of those characters have already mastered their abilities and fought countless battles. That’s what makes his fights cool. It often feels like he’s learning in real time through trial and error, testing new techniques as he goes. And because his Bankai is so dangerous, he can’t always freely experiment with it without risking everyone around him.

I always thought Rangiku had so much potential. Her ability is pretty strong if she were to master it. Would be similar to Byakuya. But it leaves you open. Like Byakuya, you also need to be strong physically/fast/good at kido/etc, to make up for the weaknesses it creates.

You'll have to check some dub scenes of Halibel, Laura Bailey did a fantastic job with the character. Also do I need to resend you the comparisons of Halibel in Manga/Anime so Taylor will know just what was stolen from us?

Shocking that as much as Soi Fon hates Urahara she gets a 2nd just as unserious as him.
