Yay!! I love y’all’s genuine and hilarious reactions! I’d love to see any first time watches of any movies or TV shows y’all are interested in. But would most to see some movie musicals you’ve not seen yet!!!! Rent (2005) is my personal favorite - “I’ll Cover You - Reprise” x Jesse L. Martin is heartbreakingly beautiful. His tone is so rich and his delivery is so sincere you feel it in your bones. I could go on and on about him🥹

Getting more leverage in artist polls seems to be a big incentive. Maybe you do a monthly vote just for those tier members? Movies are fun! I don’t want you to create more work for yourselves so anything you’re up for is great. A Spotify playlist of songs you’ve loved could be an idea. Award show reactions. Interview/podcast reactions. Concert reactions Lives with you two. Will keep thinking!

If you never watched it, I highly recommend “Grace & Frankie”! Jane Fonda & Lily Tomlin 40yrs later literally!! It is epically hilarious. Dolly has a reunion momentarily with them when they won (Emmy?) awards! 😍😍👏👏👏 (they are all super politically active, megafunding charities, and lots of protests - Jane Fonda has been arrested several times during women’s rights even at 80yrs old 😆)

Glad you liked it. Ahead of its time on the improved work conditions for women (though unrealistic on how quickly it was accepted in just 6 weeks). We’re still nowhere near achieving these things, especially equal pay. Even for doctors and surgeons - women are getting paid more than 26% less than male counterparts across all specialties. Sad that this movie was 45 years ago and we still haven’t improved this.

Ooooo, y'all will LOVE Hamilton, it's soooooo good!!! LaLaLand, too. Also if you wanna go the musicals route, if you haven't seen classics like, Chorus Line, Guys and Dolls, Little Shop of Horrors, West Side Story (both the OG and new one, But the OG is a MUST), Sound of Music, Singing in the Rain, Bye Bye Birdie, so many old school classics, I could keep going and going ♾️. 🤣 And some of the newer remakes could be fun too, like Chicago, Tick, Tick...Boom, Dreamgirls, Mamma Mia, Rocketman, In The Heights… (I'm a musical theatre nerd, so I can give recs here for days)
