I've never been so early

A

Good job Ryan!! Great moves, keep it up

Mayyyyyya

This is the easiest I’ve ever been convinced to subscribe to a Patreon EVER

Brooke Burbank

Yes!! Someone actually acknowledging how hypocritical Ethan was during the end of frenemies. No one ever wants to touch how evil trishyland and him eating all of that up, because it’s about Trisha Paytas

Paige Christie Show

This was amazing.... The /Trishyland part gave me chills.

Mezzolith

Wow, Ryan, great moves, keep it up, proud of you.

Lady Io

Crazy good work.

Rel

3$ to expose a pedofile, easiest decision ever

Emma Abad

First time using patreon . 3 dollars well spent 🫡

Eva Filipe

Not over yet, but I just wish people would see how charitable Hasan was towards Ethan for so long and literally against his whole community. Anyways, great part 1 made me subscribe

Emily McKenzie

Perfect. No notes. As someone that participates in leftoversh3 (aka "snark") it's true that I'm a former h3 fan and a huge % of people on that sub are also fallen fans. But I've never once seen anything that comes CLOSE to the level of harassment I've seen on Trisha's snark subs or on the H3 sub in terms of what they do to people Ethan deems to be "enemies of the show". Even that "CPS merch" you show a few times in this vid was actually something created by badempanada and sold to raise funds for the three women Ethan was suing. And to his credit, he raised 10k for them through doing that. Is it tasteless and "edgy"? Yes. But was it doing anything that could hurt Ethan or his family irl? No. It was a joke that bad empanada made because Ethan accused him of "doing CPS and skulls" and the ultimate aim was to help victims of Ethan's lawfare.

HeyItsTippyXO

Part 1 was so good that I had to sub for part 2. 🔥

ado

As an ashamedly former longtime h3 member, these two videos contain, by far, the best analysis of the fucked shit the h3 podcast has done and their hypocrisy on it. Truly impressive work

Virginia Cruz

Bad Empanada is famous in some corners of latino internet for saying that gringo is a slur (it's not) and being mocked because of it. He is awful. Signifier is correct.

toastify

Phenomenal video. Seeing those clips, how this guy has had the GALL to talk about "snark" is astonishing. Wish I would have seen this earlier

The Table Guy

I've been really frustrated as a former fan, and a lot of this I have explained through literally being present to experience the behaviors. I'm glad someone was able to produce a video series like this, demonstrating these intricacies, and the pattern they follow. This is all a history of dubiously navigating what he can get away with, and doubling down on hypocrisy.

pe4nu

abt halfway through rn but why do these people think it’s cool and even brag worthy to threaten people and their families ? ethan, destiny, the guy destiny f with who sponsored the button… why are they all talking like supervillains, like the riddler bro ???? this isn’t something to be proud of this is just straight up wrong

Pnkr0cker

It took longer to decide which tier I wanted lol

Pnkr0cker

I really, really appreciate how this part excellently illustrates how not holding everyone to the same standard leads to total collapse.

2026-10-10 12:00 "I was ostracized by Hasan's community." Cuts to Denims and not Hasan commenting on how she views Ryan. "Wow denims how dare you call me a liberal becasue I focused on a guy just saying mean things online instead focus on the rich man using his power and the legal system to harass creators for being anti genocide." Yeah buddy, I don't think you were kicked out of the community. I think you were ignoring a person who had lost six months pay for making a tier list she and ethan were on the same damn bracket on and then that very same person was harassed legally for legally reacting to content she was featured in but had time to clutch your pearls that genocide defender william macless got doxxed by some leftist grifter, and then when that person kinda called you lib coded for that you decided to leave. Like you being mildly criticized and people not holding your opinion up on high isn't you being told to kick rocks, it's just like someone saying they think you're a little lib coded. And I feel like you know this because you put part 2 behind a paywall. And to compare youself to FDSignifier is silly. FD wasn't passively silent this entire 2 years about ethan's abuse of power where you were giving him grace, against according to you in your own video I'm not just assuming. Mainly when you're ending with "Both sides bad and not doing enough." while excluding Hasan saying he was duped by Bad Empanda (while using the clips of FD that were made around the same time) Like no brother, not horse shoe theory.

My ultimate point was Ryan, even though he was defending ethan klein weeeeeeell into 2026, he was never "ostracized" from Hasan's community. He wasn't even ostracized from Denims, he was being criticized. If being called a liberal makes you feel like you been called everything but the child of god, idk man, maybe don't move like a liberal would. 2. Denims, Hasan, and other (not sure about Noah) had all cut ties with bad empanda long before ANYONE* started speaking out on ethan klein. Hell they cut ties with him before Ryan himself, by his own admission, cut ties with ethan klein, so it is silly to have a higher standard for the actual victims of ethan kleins harassment than ryan has for himself. Mainly when bad empanda was making... "playful" death threats to Hasan this year when Hasan went to Cuba. Its silly. (*anyone without direct ties to the victims. as in not their friends and collaborators putting all that in the locks would have looked horrid) 3. Truly the most offensive thing was comparing ones self to F.D. Signifier, who was at no point both siding this arguement and truly this was the most offensive thing and the fact I wasn't meaner to Ryan for daring to do it shows my grace in this topic. I can be meaner than calling one's take "silly" I assure.

Not to be that person but i do hope that you at some point mentions him laughing at qtcinderela. I know Ian talked about it on his content cop but i feel you will reach an audience that were not interested in giving Ian a chance.

this is really well done. legitimately, this is the kind of research I wish had the patience to endure. your deep dive clearly explains how unreal this all is, beyond any individual beef.

Same here, I am so excited for this!!!

Absolutely unfathomable levels of detailed and Sourced research Ryan. The only tip for the future I have is hire 1 person who is a lawyer AND video editor for when pedo troll inevitably sues you lol

1:33:00 just an fyi you say we don't know for a fact he knows but there is a screenshot of trisha begging him to say something and he completely shuts her down. He absolutely knows. edit: nevermind, good.

Not when normal is not doing a drop of critical thinking and let the idea of "wowwie hasan bad at x" and the supporting evidence is a whole ass different adult go unquestioned, little bro. I didn't pay 3 whole ass american doll hairs to be cool with passively being bullshited

Diane Lynn

Fine. Take my money.

Rob

it's spiritually Israeli though, and they all have to prove that they are the worst, like the opposite of a dick measuring contest. Maybe a "Dick-head" measuring contest.

Rob

me throughout the whole thing "i hope he shows hasan running defense while he calls him a terrorist behind his back"... Edit: sick, nice. we were trying to warn him in the chat but he wouldnt listen like in a horror movie yelling at the screen lol

Semaphore

Can you summarize your thesis in one sentence? I’d like to hear you out but this message is incomprehensible.

hes just the one friend thats too woke, hes harmless and funny at times in moderation ha

Honestly cannot BELIEVE Adam McIntyre would use the snark subreddit of the woman who groomed him. Honestly such a freak 🫩 i am so tired of Ethan Kope

Semaphore

Though I did understand the part about putting this video under a paywall: you may have missed that part, but you only paid to get it in advance. Ryan will put it on youtube shortly. For free.

Taylor Markey

The Justice for Mr. Riney part is extremely upsetting and makes me sick so I’m gonna counter with this: justice for the person Hila abducted in Ramallah.

BadPierogi

Oh come on, who doesn't go on an occasional illegal raid whenever they're bored doing their desk job. We have all done it at least once

yeah yeah here's $3 lets see the tea post-watch edit: worth it

Subscribed to lock in the next month.. and then unsubscribed because my monthly subscription list is getting out of hand lmao. Apologies to Mr Beard - it's nothing personal - this is the first patreon I've ever joined because I NEEDED part 2 😅

Mondog

It's a great resource to refer the h3 fans to when they start getting mouthy outside of their own subreddit bubble

Mondog

I would also like to add another harassment example to the board. Ethan shared a story to his insta of an artist sharing her painting to her, at the time, 300 followers. The artist was new & learning. She was bombarded with hundreds of "h3 sent me here" comments where they mocked and ridiculed all of her paintings. She eventually had to turn off the comments. He knew what he was doing when he shared her post and it was so disgusting and unbelievably cruel seeing what his cult fans were saying to her

Matt Quigley

Ryan didn't do a takedown of Hasan or Denims, at all. None of the arguments presented even vaguely approached, or hinted at, a "both sides bad" conclusion. What Ryan has done, throughout the entire 3 hours and 45 minutes of content, is anticipate rebuttals that might be attempted -- accusations of holes in logic, instances where hypocrisy might be perceived, etc. -- and addressed them in advance. This was done, quite explicitly, to illustrate, over and over again, that "both sides" are nothing like equally bad. I would never infer that Ryan's disagreements with Hasan or Denims extend to him believing that Ryan and they are not, ultimately, on the same side (especially as regards Ethan, but also as regards a whole mountain of other topics and concerns). You're wildly mischaracterizing Ryan's arguments when you suggest that Hasan, or Denims, are even passively attacked in these videos. Ryan has the backs of the good guys, in all the ways that matter. He just didn't agree with Denims characterizing him as lib-coded (which is presented to make a larger point). I think Ryan is entitled to that disagreement. It's such a tiny part of this massive video, but the Denims thing wasn't presented as a non-sequitur, or to draw a false equivalency, but to illustrate that despite Ryan's own personal biases, there is no equivalency between Hasan's community and Ethan's (the latter being characterized as a cult; which is the whole central thesis of this part of the video). It's pretty much the opposite of "both sides bad."

Safety Beyond Safewords

You were the first one on Ethan's neck and we should've listened to you. Hope you and yours are well ❤️

And it's nice to see people speaking out NOW almost 3 years into the harassment campaign that helped make the run time of 2 seperate videos so very long. And in the video he PUT BEHIND A PAYWALL he said "wowwie hasan really ostrichized me." Showed a clip that, and this will surprise you, not hasan but a whole different ass adult saying the MOST TAME critism ever. "Ryan is a lib because he rather cluch pearls over a small youtubers actions than a youtube titan starting adpocalypse because people are antigenocide." Was the oh so harsh critism that made him feel "ostrichized from hasan's community" And yeah it is a tiny part of a video i paid money to watch. Like he got my $3 lied about a community I've been apart of for 10 years with bad clips and all but lord forbid i comment how fucking ridiculous it appears to watch happen. But hey, let me say how ryan beard "ostrichized me" and hard cut to Jake Dolittle saying something. We get to blame one adult for the actions of separate adults now. Why not. Lets all live in ridiculous manors and never ever get light pushback for silly nonsense.

Stuart Atkinson

Exactly this is the thing I say about it the "back and forth" is a line Destiny's ego was bruised when Hasan broke it off with him so he has spent nearly a decade now attacking him AND Ethan when they were in leftovers then the Israel topic came up which Destiny and Ethan were on the wrong side of while again Hasan's position was the same the whole time. Hasan and Ethan split amicably agreeing to disagree that the feelings of the Jewish community is equivalent to actual bombing and harm and he actively defended Ethan for a year after! While Destiny and Dan were OPENLY planning a harassment and deplatforming campaign! Honestly if Destiny's sex pest stuff hadn't dropped at the beginning of 2025 like 2 weeks before the content nuke I believe 100% that he or Dan would have featured openly in it. It's crazy how much of this stuff is a straight line from Destiny's personal resentment of him.

As a passive viewer not personally connected to anyone I watched a few bad empanada vids specifically about politics and not about specific people and was unaware he doxxed people. Is it super common knowledge? If not it should be more widely reported on. I didn't super rock with some of his views he expressed in later vids I watched though so I haven't watched him in awhile, and started to read books about the history of palestine and by palestinians themselves instead. I can understand why people might use his vids as a good source of info on certain well researched historical topics though if they don't know he's a doxxer. Though I do wonder in the vein of your want to not dishonestly clip here, if him saying "I don't care of people feel harassed" in that clip has more to do with how some people say they are being harassed even if you just criticize them. Like is ed sheeran being harassed because "when your spine doesn't work like it used to before" was trending? I remember some british news guy was saying its all awful for the poor guy and he cried on stage so clearly we all gotta stop being so mean. I do also think badempanada has some dumbass views on certain things though (now including thinking doxxing is good which I have now just found out about) like thinking optics are pointless and that even if you hurt someone its okay as long as it wasn't intentional (when I watched one of the noah samson fundraising streams a convo between him, fd signifier and bad empanada, with bad empanada saying FD Signifier is bad for having an issue with a blackman being called a "zogslave", which noah samson earnestly tried to call him out on during a livestream but BE gishgalloped all over him like a dick). Thats super when I stopped even watching his appearance on other things because he felt like a person who will never admit fault no matter what ever. Ego the size of the fucking moon. Even if you earnestly believe your criticism (he was criticizing the guy he called that for saying zionist things) is being ignored due to some unintentional misunderstanding, how does not apologizing and minimizing the use of terms that consistently get used to undermine your criticism a good strategy? and I don't really think its akin to being angry at being labelled a zionist when you spout zionist talking points (as in i dont think not using that term would be the same as not using zionist if someone was mad at you for calling a spade a spade there), I think it was a big blindspot he had not realizing why calling a black man a slave to zionists in a general sense might make people assume he's way the fuck off base here.

SjorsTroelie

Nice video. Well researched. One thing I don't think is entirely fair in the video is how you conclude that Noah Samsen is not against doxing/harassment because he platformed Bad Empenada. Was it a mistake to do so? Sure. But people can make mistakes. As F.D. Signifier explains in the clip you show, Noah was being duped. Just like you were duped by Ethan for a long time. I don't think that warrants concluding that either you or Noah Samsen co-sign the bad behaviour of H3 and BadEmpenada respectively. Still. Great video. Thank you for making this.

Made of Stardust

"Don't blame one adult for the statements of a separate adult." is the one sentence you seem to be desirering. One cannot be ostrichized from Hasan Piker's community by Denims calling you a lib. That's not what that is. And yet. And yet in this very video I paid my hard earn money to watch I watched a man, ryan, do that. Say with his mouth "I felt ostrizhized from hasan's community" and then edited the video to talk about DENIMS (see how those are different letters than Hasan because it's not the same person) calling him a lib. Thus the comment.

Rebecca Otter

This is the first ever time I’ve paid for content like this or ever gone on patreon!…I feel like a virgin! 😅

Hooby

I'm a 65 month member of the H3 Podcast. First of all, the Gokanaru video was so deflating and didn't need to be connected to this. There really are H3 fans who were only ever here for the goofs. I've always been the type of watcher who skips around only watching the segments I'm interested in, can't remember watching any episode all the way through. Them reviewing the Twilight movies is the most fun I can remember in recent memory. I watched Frenemies when they'd do fun activities and I never watched an episode of Leftovers. I really never knew much about Destiny and I sure as hell never thought about Dan Saltman. I'd visit places like LeftoversH3 and roll my eyes seeing Dan Saltman posts because who the hell is this and what does this have to do with H3? I've always hated a large portion of the fanbase. I hate a lot of "fan bases" I don't even use Instagram so I never interact with the stories, I basically only use Reddit and I think if someone were to look at my posts and comments it'd be clear what type of fan that I am. I have seen moments like Ethan's "What is legal to send in the mail" and absolutely despise the feigning ignorance "I just mean hypothetically" And I remember him bringing up that random guy's and his mother's Instagram. Of course the most insane fans are going to have a field day. From his prospective it really is like a bunch of raging Zionists jumped into his DMs. You think they came in to talk with nuance? Of course not. His sarcastic "Yeah, I changed my mind. I love Zionism." Is the only logical outcome. That's how we look as H3 fans. I keep my H3 discussions to Reddit, I sure as hell don't want to be lumped in with the vocal... minority? Majority? I don't even know.

Domenic Luciani

He really thinks he’s so clever and not obvious with the brigading

Jin

the way i ran to subscribe lol amazing work, ryan!

Blurb

Hasanabi head here, how are we a cult? You said we were a cult then showed Denims defending BadEmpanada from you. I have never watched Denims once, the only reason I heard about her is through the lawsuit. And, I don't ever recall Hasan talking about you on stream. I am genuinely asking, so please don't attack me.

Berlin Kofoed

Immediately signed up for your patreon for part 2 ❤️

Vanessa Ultimo

I remember when all we did was brigading wikifeet. I was in that cult and glad i got out...ngl it was hard for a while though

Andrea Joan

You have been doing a really great job at making these videos very succinct. Major props. Also-and i say this as someone who regularly listens to Hasan- I automatically vibed with someone critical of bad Empanada. I was an early critique of him & never understood how some could ignore how insane that dude was lol.

Julifinwe

I mean, they didn't say 'hasan viewers are a cult' they said that they feel like they 'can be cult-like'. I'm also a Hasan fan, but I can see how someone might walk away with that opinion primarily because of how his fans sometimes act. It's a little bit inevitable with how huge Hasan is + how much hate he receives; his fans can become very defensive and reactive to perceived attacks. While I have some criticisms of Hasan, and I feel like there's room for some improvement in how he could address the bigotry of certain white male 'leftists' or guide his community to be less reactionary to dissenting opinions, I don't think he acts like a cult leader or condones doxxing or harassment. I think a portion of his fans often do his image a disservice. But the community can still be very intense, and a large portion do cleave to Hasan's judgements on who is and isn't an ally, so maybe that's where Ryan is coming from.

Vero

Will you do a video on the crew and their complicity?

Vero

Also, I’m going to say - this series is the most level-headed, thoughtful take on this saga. Thank you for taking the time to make it. It’s easy to dismiss this as petty internet drama, because in part it is, but Ethan is emblematic of the current state of internet toxicity. The lack of accountability and consequences is very worrisome.

Vero

Does this video make you rethink your membership?

wrekt_angles

I don't know if you have researched this, but have you looked into the former housekeeper's lawsuit? She said she was hired through Teddy Fresh despite being a housekeeper for their personal home residence. She was required to clock in to Teddy Fresh's clock in system. She was fired by a Teddy Fresh HR representative. It's a serious IRC violation in California to classify a housekeeper as an employee of an unrelated business.

Jake Vaughn

Subbed for Part 2 because Part 1 was so good! Really enjoyed this but imo you should seriously consider cutting the stuff about Denims/Hasan for the YouTube version. It feels like a digression and undercuts your otherwise excellent points. I was surprised to hear you felt shunned by Hasan’s community because I hadn’t heard anything about that, but then the evidence you show is Denims defending BE. Now, BE is legitimately disgusting and I was personally disappointed in Noah for signal boosting him. But tbh it just has absolutely nothing to do with your video, and I think if you cut it the whole thing is much stronger. If you leave it in, you’re giving BE and his crazy fans a way to focus on THAT and not the damning stuff you show him saying. Just my two cents

rose

nice moves, ryan. keep it up!

Rowena Boat

It's a shame that you have so much criticism for a community whose output you clearly sourced from. Years before you got wise to Ethan's abuse, genocide denial, and lies, LeftoversH3 was standing with Ethan's victims and consistent in combatting H3s propaganda.

Mallory

I slammed my card down on the table immediately once I finished part one

Kerry

Do I know these people outside of these videos? No. Do I wanna hear Ryan tell me about these dopes? 🙌🏽 edit: and I’m so glad I don’t know them. Except for Hasan campaigning for my boy Abdul. But otherwise Hasan seems to suck

Jenna

Holy shit great vid! Just one minor correction, Trisha was begging them to stop talking about them because several women came out accusing Moses of SA, and H3 covered it siding with the victims. Seems like important context to add there!

Meganlorene

So happy to see you w so many patrons today 👑

Berlin Kofoed

And now that I’ve watched, wonderful video! Thank you for working so hard on both parts.

Kerry

He got excoriated in the comments for the recent YT video where he said some shit about Hasan, as I recall. I don’t know about what happened on other social media.

Kahla Long

I've been a fan for a really long time of the channel, but my deep interest in the spiral of Ethan brought me here. I was a fan of his too once. It's sad what he's turned into. I hope he can do another 180 for me someday smfh

Kerry

Yeah the more I listen and realize these dbags apparently have huge followings, the more my heart sinks.

Kerry

Yeah I was surprised at the vicious hate The Bulwark got after Sarah Longwell expressed some views about Hasan. And it keeps getting brought up. Off-putting. But I’m grateful he put in an appearance for Abdul in MI.

Kerry

Maybe a power getting to his head, money making him think like a tyrant?

Ninsk

It’s funny that Ethan would be mad at Hasan talking to Bad Empanada, that truce lasted literally like 48 hours lol. Those two are not pals. Hasan gives BE praise for his long form video essays on historical/political topics for being well researched, good coverage on the subject he’s covering (as he should, because they are), but they could not be more misaligned in terms of how to achieve shared goals, which means Hasan is “evil” to BE’s community. BE’s community is very similar to Ethan in terms of jumping to the most bad faith interpretation of a statement and accusing you of a position you never endorsed. He’s got good folk in there as well, willing to take the time to explain something and who are kind, but he’s also got people who share his very black/white thinking, can’t tolerate nuance, and go on ‘attack’ if you share a different perspective. I haven’t run into that kind of combative energy with Hasan or The Majority Report (my primary)- but I don’t interact with any Reddit communities either, I’m strictly referring to YT comment sections. So weird to see how many Majority Report backgrounds were in the stories of Ethan towards Hasan, he’s really sour that he wasn’t able to get Sam to side with him, huh? Lol! Sam’s been consistent on the issue of Israel/Palestine and had covered news from the region for two decades. Ethan claiming Sam ‘didn’t know what he was talking about’ is the biggest cope ever.

Bryan Burkhart

YT video was perfection, had to sub to see more!

bones

right i try to say this to people who want to criticize hasan and his audience but they just don't see it. it's so frustrating. i watch hasan, not really a hasanabihead or w/e they're called, but everything people say about him, how he weaponized his audience, shocked his dog, is racist etc i just never see. maybe i missed it or something, but it just goes to show how strategic the harassment of hasan for things he didn't even do is, and i have no other choice but to believe it has to be from a place of islamophobia. we don't see the criticism for ethan saying things that people accuse hasan of saying on a 1000 to 1 scale.

DSM

whoa that's crazy, I never heard about this.

Domenic Luciani

It’s really heinous seeing everything he’s done in one place like this

Bla

Ryan, you don't think that Ethan would try to hit you with a TRO/Gag Order to prevent this part from coming out, do you? Kinda how B&M did Reckless Ben. He's pretty much reached that level of villain so I wouldn't put it past him.

Ramano

Using Ethan to comment on himself having large pupils is Oscar worthy comedy

Made of Stardust

"hAsAn WoUlD tElL yOu To Be NoRmAl" And I would tell him the same thing I said to the first person who use that line Vennessa.

Best three bucks i've spent this month! Despite grieving the kavkav jokes... still. STILL.

I've never interacted with H3 or Ethan Klein, and watching these two videos has horrified me beyond belief. Why do people like him?? He's such an angry, hateful, bitter man who bullies people for what, ego?? Ridiculous.

Blurb

Fair enough!

3 bucks well spent.

Hey Ryan not sure if you noticed this before but; After XQC sent Ethan a message after their debate with a pic of his expensive watch captioned "My watch is your house" or "Your house is on my wrist" or something. Ethan clowned on him for that and THEN his watch obsession began. He basically absorbed the annoying watch guy persona from XQC, and would probably say it's a joke or something

Madeleine Swann

Fancy seeing you here! (Just joking I thought I'd see you here). Thanks for talking about Ethan and introducing me and probably loads of others to Tony's chocolate

bones

will there be conversation on the video ethan made about the "teaching children consent" song and how gross it was? i was a fan at the time and even i couldn't stomach it. it really soured my opinion of him. it felt extremely alarming and grounds to call him exactly what he made his username on reddit

Denise Chu

His entire purpose in life is pursuing hatred. It must be exhausting.

The ending was absolute fire. Great job, Ryan 10/10

2026-10-04 22:00 He's really not. He's an Australian white guy who moved to Argentina, a country he has zero ties to, that is notoriously known amongst latinos as a very racist and colorist society, and that is famously known for being the country that took in the most nazi war criminals post-WW2. Out of all the global south countries he could've moved to in order to show how much of a true socialist he is and how much he cares about the true exploited working-class peoples of the world, he chose... Argentina. He doesn't strike me as a genuine person who wants to advance any form of leftist cause. At best, he strikes me more as a larper who gets a kick out of being a troll. Signifier, Hasan, and every other internent leftist who've distanced themselves from BE are correct in doing so.

Fellow HasanAbi head here: very well-said.

The Mr Riney thing was so massively triggering at the time, I couldn't even watch people talking about it. I couldn't imagine how it would feel to be the target of it, and you don't have to like Trisha to see that

Vinnie

Masterful. I need 10 parts

"I'd visit places like LeftoversH3 and roll my eves seeing Dan Saltman posts because who the hell is this and what does this have to do with H3?" Now that you've seen / been made aware of the fact that Dan Saltman is the only sponsor of the show and is close enough to Ethan to have even gone on vacation with him, do you understand why we talk about it? Dan Saltman is explicit and open about his goal to "take down Hasan" and he (tries to) use Ethan and the h3 community to achieve those goals. There's documented evidence of him saying this.

Faye Inoue

looking forward to the multi-part series of feature length ryan beard content court/cop/nuke videos showing clips of this video alongside of clips of him defending ethan

Johnny King

BE is not representative of the left and FD summed it up perfectly in the clip you showed about how everyone feels about him now. Denims calling you a lib is not because you don't like BE its because you supported Ethan until recently, as you said, even while he ran defense for Israel. I loved the video Ryan and think you're a genuine person with good intentions, but I do think the parts about Noah and other smaller creators should just be cut because these people were being actively sued by Ethan during the time you were a supporter and would just undermine the point of the video and the scope of the network of harassment that Ethan engages in through Dan. Also the majority of these leftist creators only spoke about Ethan from the context of Ethan's defense of Israel, not drama farm slop. I do appreciate your work and your honesty in this situation and look forward to more of your work. Thank you Ryan.

Johnny King

You aren't entirely incorrect but lets just be more charitable to the guy who admitted he got duped by Ethan Klein. Ryan seems to be able to learn and grow unlike a lot of other creators and being this hostile because he talked bad about our big boy Hasan isn't necessary.

Hooby

The problem is I'd never consider myself a "foot soldier" and I was never sat down for the "warzone" segments and would be happy never hearing about Hassan. Seeing all the posts about the latest thing Dan Saltman has said about Hassan, I probably just glaze over; it's the same for any facecam in the corner, chat on screen streamer. I just cannot watch. So part of me is thinking "Well, if I just watch the show the same way I do now I'm still never going to hear about Dan Saltman. That has nothing to do with my enjoyment or thought process." But it is stuck in my head that this Flacid Turkey guy is his head mod and the stuff shown here is horrific and having Dan Saltman enjoy a vacation with you, I mean, it is worth thinking about.

Reesuh

please avoid using the "cp" term, it's CSAM

Reesuh

this is well put, I feel like those parts were trying to set up why Ryan was still cordial with H3 but it comes across both-sidesy. The timeline of BE unmasking himself as a weirdo matters here

Made of Stardust

How much more charitable do i have to be, i paid to watch the video. Like you act like i told him to do the thing instead of saying his whole argument is silly. For all the "hasan would say be normal"s yall want to throw, I'm not the one scrolling the comments looking for someone who isn't licking Ryan's hole and shaft to whine at. I paid to watch this video, he said something so goddamn silly it threw me out of the 2 hour content hole i was in, i left a comment (which i part of my paid perk btw) yall are the weirdos popping up in my emails cause you read feedback for a whole different adult that isn't yourself that you don't like. I don't care if you don't like it. It wasn't for you

Emily McKenzie

I totally get what you're saying and I think most people who still watch h3 are probably just casual enjoyers who don't care enough to deep dive into this stuff (because why would it matter to them if they aren't that invested in the show) But the Dan Saltman stuff is less about "what horrific thing is he saying about Hasan", and more about how he colludes with Ethan to spread misinformation, to incite hatred of Muslims, and to encouraging a campaign of harassment against Dan and Destiny's enemies. Kaceytron is a good example of this - Ethan didn't even know who she was prior to his lawsuits. There is 0 chance he cared about her reacting to his content nuke. But Dan and Destiny have both been trying to ruin Kaceytron for years and have engaged in multiple campaigns to deplatform her. So it becomes pretty obvious that Ethan suing her was at their behest, otherwise I don't think he'd have even seen her reaction because she wasn't on his radar. Actually the whole "I get their personal information by suing them for copyright infringement" angle was a tactic Dan Saltman talked about using just a few months before Ethan did it himself. It's clear he colludes with Dan, and he continues to allow the h3 show to be sponsored by Dan, so there's no way to separate the two :(

I had no idea he said that about Trisha's abuser and drove her to that point of distress 😞 No human deserves that. The way Ethan treats people... I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Ryan, thank you for working with Gokunaru to put this together and inform everyone of just how bad he is and always has been. I used to be an H3 fan too when they were just youtubers. I eventually stopped vibing with Ethan's sense of humor so I stopped watching in like 2018 or so. But I always thought of them fondly. I ended up becoming a huge Adam McIntyre fan, so when I saw Ethan start accusing Adam of random weird things and calling him names I was honestly so done with him. Then all the israel + hasan + everything started happening and that's when I was really like okay this guy sucks BIG TIME. This video was not the nail in the coffin for me, it was more like the 100th nail and that bitch is sealed shut. Ethan needs to lose power. He's clearly far too into using it for abuse and weird evil actions.

DSM

I myself didn't feel it was that deep BUT I do understand what you're saying. I don't want to invalidate how you felt and I'm not going to tell you what you should or should not say, that's not my place. I honestly get bothered by people who act like participating in snark is this horrible thing when it's typically contained to a community, has strict rules against direct interaction, and it's much more natural to have an outlet and express your emotions instead of surrounding yourself with performative toxic positivity. I also get annoyed with the people who think that Hasanabi Heads are a horrible group of radical gatekeepers. I feel like maybe they are referring to the ultras, who are quite passionate and straightforward, which can be off putting to some, OR they have just heard other people say it, they believe it themselves. I can say through my own experience that I have not been treated that way, even when I was an annoying "centrist". There are quite a variety of views within Hasan's community and I've had some amazing conversations with people, even passionate ones where we disagree on things. Many of the talks and recommendations of books and creators I have received from fellow fans have really helped me, opened my eyes to things and helped to shape my worldview. They have even unknowingly helped me through grief and depression I was experiencing irl. Idk where I am going with this lol, just wanted to share my own perspective and I hope that Ryan will give the Hasan community another try sometime. See you in chat someday :>

Ryan Beard

There's definitely some validity to your criticism. I absolutely DID passively not do enough to criticize Ethan for the first year or so of his crashout, and that's something that people in Hasan's sphere can rightly criticize me for But I also do still stand behind the criticism that a lot of people in Hasan's sphere did sweep Bad Empanada's behavior under the rug because he was currently "on their team" I hope that if I can own up to the fact that I was too charitable towards Ethan, some Hasan fans can own up to the fact that they were too charitable towards Bad Empanada. That's all I ask.

David

Same here lol I immediately came to patreon to sub after the first vid

Kahla Long

It's very fucking annoying tryna stream this for the second time via smartphone casting

Kiyaleesi

I understand this criticism but honestly I can hear Denims laughing her ass off in the ether for Ryan being upset she called him a Liberal. Ryan really didn’t defend Ethan for all that long, and now he’s doing this series on him. That’s more than we can say about a lot of commentators. Perhaps try to be happy people eventually came to the correct conclusion, once they saw all the information. No need to hang on to the negativity it’ll eat at you.

Eddie Finlaw

My guy I'm sorry but Denims clocked you there. How can you even deny it when you spent the last 3 years until recently defending Ethan? lol just take the L on that one. you are kinda a lib

Eddie Finlaw

Ryan just had to shoehorn his disdain for every leftist in this video for some reason?

Melissa

Well worth the $3

Made of Stardust

The comparison is still nonsense. No one "swept" (childish term btw) for bad empanda, they weren't aware of his every action past the one of being THE loudest person fighting against the H3 bullshit at the time because it wasn't "safe" like it is now to talk about. When they found out just how weird he was. Its why he crashed out and started threatening to kill Hasan on his Cuba trip. And i cannot stress badempanda wouldn't have been given that charity if people stood up and showed support at the time. But you're mad people who were facing harassment didn't shit on the few allies who bothered to speak up for them? You think its the same that they didn't shit on BE while being targets of harassment the way you didn't stand up to ethan? Nonsense. Its not their fault he was the only person there in their time of need

Made of Stardust

Yeah she will definitely laugh about it, I'm not like offened, its just a bad argument and has a level of denial of reality. "People of a harassment campaign didn't condemn someone advocating against their harassment and that's the same as ethan klien joining on a 6 year at that point harassment campaign against Hasan Piker." Is silly. Its nonsense. How can i possible be expected to handle it

Eddie Finlaw

yeah this shit is honestly why I still don't like Ryan even though I think his videos are high quality. Its like he's afraid to take a position before it becomes popular to do so. I mean how long did it take him to finally believe us about Ethan? Say what you want about BE too but he was unapologetically pro-Palestine and correct about this topic while Ryan was probably still deciding whether or not to call it genocide.

Amanda E

GREAT WORK. I’ve been intrigued by this (having initially been keeping an eye on Ethan’s Insta because I saw him sharing misinformation on Israel/Palestine …& others…. on his stories in 2024/25). I’m interested in the expanding concept of celebrity and parasocial online “communities” and the toxic aspects of this dynamic. I’ve seen some creators address this really well (‘The Systemic Abuse of Celebrities’ by broey deschanel is really good and has a whole section on online creators, and I’ve been liking steven asarch’s vids on fan communities). But not enough people do, especially as it seems to have become more and more acceptable to mass harass online (a consistent issue on the internet but one that used to be more widely shamed and “contained” to creep spaces) This was well done on multiple levels but I really appreciate the focus on online communities and the responsibility of creators. Streaming by its nature is a “parasocial” format and the larger the community the more likely you will have people who are too invested in the creators in a personal way. I’ll give credit where due … Hasan has some wildly defensive and reactive fans from what I’ve seen. I think it’s largely because he is often under attack so that community can be hypervigilant ….I’l say. But from what I’ve seen he does actively discourage his community from going at creators (I’ve seen him pull up smaller creators on stream bc links were sent and then specifically tell his audience to leave them alone). He isn’t flawless on this front but he’s better than most. I think so much of the behavior you put out here about Ethan wasn’t widely understood because people thought of him as “just a goofy gossip guy”. But this is such a good study in a creator encouraging the more base instincts of his fans and rewarding them with attention when they act out. Just a weaponization of the antisocial behaviors of your fans against others in the space. Clearly a lot of work went into this and a great deal of care (also you can tell you were a former fan Part 1 going through all the different background and aesthetics H3 has used in the various sections was a great touch)

Amanda E

While they do specify that Hasan's community can be "very cult-like' they draw a pretty clear distinction. And based on the statements made in the vid it was comments made by Hasan fans or "hasan adjacent" leftist streamers that made them feel "excommunicated from Hasan's corner of the online left" Any online community can come across as cult-like from the outside (you reference the same memes, you use similar language, you "seemingly" are a united force) and I've seen Hasan fans be what I would call hyper defensive (and I get why but it is unfortunate) I would give a lot of credit to Hasan in that he seems to prioritize his fans (and likely by extension him) "being normal". I don't know if it's his personal values or he is just more aware of optics and the longterm negative outcomes that could result from his fans making him look bad in that way (or likely a combination of both). ...But I will credit him with not encouraging what is a somewhat inevitable result of an interactive format centered around a personality. I do think Hasan could weaponize his fanbase if he really wanted to in ways others have ... because streaming relies on the cult of personality.

Someone on that crew has the chance to be the whistleblower

Julia N

Great breakdown, fully worth the membership price. However, if I hear the word "snark" one more time I will spontaneously combust.

Julia N

Well, yes. He didn't say that Hasan himself ostracized them, it was other people in his community. And it wasn't "a guy saying mean things online" it was a guy doxxing people.

I've just never understood doing something because a YouTuber told me. Like maybe it's from being apart of the old GG days, where you don't touch the poop so to speak. We gawked, we laughed, we bitched, but we kept it to our community. You never went and contacted anyone in any of the "universes" you watched. It's so out of my realm of thinking I can't imagine sending a death threat to anyone period, but, let alone someone who's done literally nothing to me all bc a YouTuber says they dislike them. I wish we could all go back to the old days where we gossiped and had fun and if you saw something about yourself you didn't like it's bc you were looking for it on a gossip site. Ofc most of the gossip was some bitch had too much lipstick, not anyone touching kids (not referencing Ethan btw, but you get the idea) like all the "drama" ever seems to be now. Oh, the good old days....

Tnd92606 Games

Dude that’s so real, every time I hear the word “snark” I’m going to shave off my hair 😭😭😭

This admittedly is the first Patreon I’ve ever signed up for because after watching part one I needed to see part two as soon as possible. As a former h3 and former destiny fan it’s crazy to see how far they’ve fallen and some of the disgusting things they’ve done and are ok with doing. Great video Ryan.

Matt Quigley

What's childish about saying something or someone was "swept under the rug"? How is that childish? Are you familiar with the idiom? I'm not even sure that it's actually the most apt phrase to use here (I think "brushed aside," or even "chose to ignore" would be more accurate), but there's nothing about it, in any context, that suggests a lack of maturity. Childish would be saying, "a lot of people in Hasan's sphere did fart Bad Empanada's behavior out of their butts" (although, if I do say so myself, that is also wonderful). You may not agree that people did what Ryan is suggesting (i.e., chose to look the other way regarding Bad Empanada's odious behavior) but I don't see how either the observation, or the idiom, is childish.

Made of Stardust

You're right, it's not childish and I shouldn't have said that. The correct word is "cruel" because its down right cruel to have the expectation of victims of a multi year harassment campaign to background check the only guy willing to speak out about said harassment campaign. Its cruel to say victims of the harassment campaign are 'THE SAME" as the harasser partnering with DANEIL FUCKING SALTMAN because they didn't denounce bad empanda FAST ENOUGH. Please note, every single fucking person denounced Bad Empanda before anyone started finding their damn spines to denounce ethan klein and his years, more than one year, of harassment too. Its cruel and childish and delusional and a lot of other words I bundled into "silly" days ago to say what Ryan did in this video, and I pulled my punch sooooooooo many times.

Char

Perfectly written

Char

Why was my comment hidden...

Char

The worst word i used was shitbag lol

Char

@ryan Do you not think it’s possible that her criticism was more about you still defending Ethan, cause that’s what I understood at the time. BE is insane though I do agree on that

Moss

I realised how weird his fan base is after I got banned from the main sub for saying the segment where he danced on the queens grave for half an hour was a bit sick. Had half a dozen messages saying I should kill myself and a couple of reports to the self harm hotline. In near 30 yrs of being on the internet I've never experienced anything close to that.

Moss

I'm on the same boat. I'm curious to know what was it that made you former for both of them?

kaity6kat7

I agree, that part feels a little random and detracts from the topic at hand. Its also not a very strong argument

ascendedscumbag

yes ryan i love feet ryan wait what was this video about again

Julie Quintanilla

Oh god I cringed when Ethan said "you aren't part of the family if you do this", the whole corporate "family relationship" H3 has with their fans is proof enough that they're a cult

Julie Quintanilla

Idk man I kinda see what he's saying, leftists have adopted the "agree or you're evil" mindset in recent years, which is understandable given the current polictial and societal climate, but it's just as common to see people with that sentiment in left spaces as it is in the right these days. Its okay to point out the similariies and hypocrises without getting on defensive mode

DaniCal1forn1a

I do wonder if Ryan is gonna do a whole episode on Ethan's misogyny/hate for victims of SA and sexual harassment... Because that's a whole ass rabbit hole

Matthew McCall

Hey everyone! This is my first time ever being part of a creator’s patreon community! Ryan has been one of my favourite content creators on YouTube for the last five years, and my number one favourite YouTuber since he released his video about Colleen Ballinger. That video dropped when I was living in a tent with my mom and our dog, and his ukulele parody of Colleen’s awful apology song, brought me much needed joy, relief, and as always, the video challenged me to think about serious topics with an intelligent approach and long lasting comedic relief. Sorry for rambling but I am absolutely thrilled to finally be a part of the community here on patreon, and if anyone has any advice about how to possibly improve my etiquette or phrasing on anything, I warmly welcome any and all constructive criticism or any points anyone might want to share! I also extend that warm welcome to anyone who wants to start comment threads on any of my posts to talk about Ryan’s content or other relevant subject matter. TLDR: first timer on patreon, big Ryan fan, happy to make likeminded pals, open to constructive criticism, welcoming relevant conversations/opportunities for debates/sharing. Bye for now! :D

Brianna Blackfire

This is cinema. A documentary of sorts. It is amazing. Thank you so much for laying this out in a way that’s easy to follow for people still in their community who haven’t been able to wake up. I am also a “fallen fan” like many people in the comments here. It sucked when my husband and I came to terms with the fact that our old favorite podcast turned into a weird, sour, hateful mess. Before things got REALLY bad, I remember commenting on the last few live streams I watched of theirs saying, “Dan, stop this, stop Ethan. Please.” But of course nothing happened. Dan (even AB and Olivia) all stayed pretty quiet and played the fence for a while but now they have gone full tilt into Ethan’s mentality. I am sure being paid however much money to literally be his friend and work in his office doesn’t make changing their minds any easier either.

Lauren Mosolf

Damn. I subscribed so fast. I left H3 years ago because of a fucking wild comment from the "parents" basically complaining about having to hang out with their three children. I thought they were so entitled and insane for saying such stupid shit but I'm so blown away by what I didn't know about Ethan and Hila. Absolutely amazing journalism.

I think most of the change was me and my beliefs and the way I view the world changed a lot over the past years , I was very right leaning being raised in a conservative jehovas witness - catholic household , and I’ve slowly been moving to the left , I started watching Ethan around gamergate and you know funny haha sjw owned videos. For him I left around the Trisha era bc that felt like too much and when I started moving more to the left I was watching a lot of Hasan and destiny (weird combo I know ) but around 2020 I took a bit of a step away from the destiny community after seeing people get harassed and just really toxic behavior and when October 7th happened I left that community altogether and since then I’ve come to see a lot more of that behavior coming to light

Matthew McCall

I used to be the biggest h3 fan but the last few years he has been acting like a cooked up, unhinged, Trisha Paytas kind of character and it’s been making me cringe and getting on my last nerve for like five years now. Idk what else to add, but Ryan’s deep dive here has been a long time coming.

The end was really good. The part in the middle about BE and doxxing was kind of weird though. You said the online left acts cult like. Who's the leader? You talked about several leftists creators with different behaviors and beliefs. Does Hasan call for doxxing or is him not vociferously calling out doxxing count as hypocrisy? I'm guessing you're just throwing the h3 fans a bone or whatever, but it felt like airing of grievances and a little incoherent. Anyway your work is still appreciated. Also not cool to assume h3 harassers became Hasan harassers. A lot of leftovers members were people who got banned of the H3's subreddit for gentle criticisms.

dnkykngr69

every clip with Dan going “please stop please chill out please for the love of fucking god stop exposing us to unnecessary risk” is so funny just quit dude and go get a different Job you clearly have a robust resume at this point

Emily Parker

I literally hate feet so much but still bought the sub because 🙌🏼

Ama

the paywall is temporary / for early access. this is gonna be put on youtube

rhigh

great deep dive into ethan so far.. but i have to agree with the other commenters, that the whole BE segment/leftist community in this video was not necessary. Firstly im still not sure how you have been excommunicated from “hasan’s corner”… Hasan and his fans agree with your opinion of BE. Yes, it was a mistake for Noah to platform him, I am sure he is very aware of his mistake now due in part to FD. Now the FD clips. FD has mentioned multiple times that he doesn’t like to be dragged into this type of video, it’s known that he has beef with BE, and everyone knows BE is a weirdo these days. It comes across as a bit bitter and self centered to include FD as a defense for yourself, so you can crown yourself with the title of “leftist”. I have never watched a Denims video in my life, and i am not sure how big of a role she plays in the community, so I am confused on why you take her criticisms of your liberalism to heart. Call yourself a leftist because that’s what you align yourself with, and produce leftist content if that is really your worldview, not because of the other people within the community. I think you could make a separate video criticizing the left content community and people would grant your argument more legitimacy.

Ama

that would be interesting. it always seemed to me like Dan was the voice of reason, but like why did he even stick around trying to talk sense into Ethan and trying to keep the show going? surely there were more ethical jobs for him to take his PR skills to?

Ama

tbh I think it's creepy af that you'd still consider watching h3 after Ethan was saying all that horrific stuff about that teenage girl who survived a bombing. like how does that not make you step back from his content

Hooby

That is literally one of the examples I gave of something that's not circulating in H3 communities. I've never seen the entire thing with context. And just insinuating someone is "creepy" doesn't make them feel like you're interacting with them in good faith. I mentioned I do not tend to interact with the drama side of things, so you're hostility comes across as one of those lunatic sparklers they talk about. Luckily I recently watched this Ryan Beard video on Patreon that's opened my eyes to how disgusting a portion of the H3 fanbase can be, so I'm willing to keep watching what else they have to show.

Made of Stardust

Oh okay, that make the victim blaming and calling the not condemning bad empanda (100k subs) soon enough -cause again all the people except maybe Noah Samsen who was also a victim of harassment have cut ties with BE, to the point BE is making death threats on them, and did it before Ryan even disavowed Ethan Klein the harasser who had 3.3 million followers at the start of his harassment campaign- AS BAD AS ethan klein doing a multi year harassment campaign where he used his wealth to abuse the legal system and also jumped onto an already years long harassment campaign against Hasan with Daniel Saltman and Steven Bonnerellie because Hasan was (checks notes) AGAINST GENOCIDE AND COLONALISM? Oh that's right, it doesn't, it just shows I came here in good faith so this "you're just being a hater" cry bully nonsense when getting pushback on the valid victimblaming critism I'm giving can just be cut off at the pass. Yet....

Thom Gray

Great stuff Mrbeard

Emily Parker

And seriously, when he goes for her and her kids... They're HIS NIECE/NEPHEWS. It blew my mind when I found out Trish married Hila's brother 😐

Eddie Finlaw

hes the perfect example of "these people were mean to me so I'm against their ideology"

Eddie Finlaw

Hard disagree. I mean H3 fans call themselves leftists. Its a meaningless term at this point when we are talking about random idiots online. It gives the same whiny attitude as complaining about woke sjws and applying that to the left as a whole. I mean sorry that we were correct too soon about the genocide, but Ryan doesn't have to take it out on us.

Eddie Finlaw

Ethan's attack dog, Girl With a Microphone, is calling you a pussy because you claimed that you didn't make a Hasan video because you were too scared on his audience. I think you should address this and clear it up or I fear these videos do more harm than good.

Eddie Finlaw

how does harassing Trisha help those women?

Eddie Finlaw

he's still upset that we all called him out for fence sitting genocide and falling for Ethan's bullshit for years. He's just throwing a bone out to Hasan's haters because its popular to do.

Eddie Finlaw

@Kerry huh? you're surprised why leftists don't like The Bulwark and conservative Sarah Longwell?

Eddie Finlaw

Ryan, we "swept" for BE because he was on a short list of creators who weren't terrified of calling Israel/Palestine (and Ethan Klein for that matter) what it is. Maybe if we had some more allies on that front at the beginning (nudge nudge), we wouldn't have had to do that.

Eddie Finlaw

@Made of Stardust "Please note, every single fucking person denounced Bad Empanda before anyone started finding their damn spines to denounce ethan klein and his years, more than one year, of harassment too." PERIOD.

Eddie Finlaw

huh? I recall he made a video saying the opposite. maybe that was gusano

I remember back when I was part of the H3 subreddit, and even as a fan of the podcast at the time I got attacked by folks in that subreddit... it really ruined the podcast for me tbh, I felt like I couldn't post anything in there because whenever I did I would get someone picking a fight or just being mean for no reason. That subreddit was/is toxic af.

Rachel

I watched two people watch your video and was like yeahhhhh I have to pay to watch part two! And as someone who watches Hasan and follows him I agree he does have some toxic people around who critique everything people do who they don’t agree with! But I promise you some of us are normal! I was an h3 fan before October 2023 didn’t like everything he did and disagreed heavily with some of his takes but I’m a normal person and know that you can like someone and not agree with everything they say. But he just kept going and honestly the Zionism was too much in October 2023 for me and I tapped out. I thought he evolved from the racism and bigotry but honestly I think I was just immature for not seeing it. But I love the vids! Amazing work. Truly this is the level of content people strive towards

Ama

just because it's not circulating in h3 communities, doesn't mean you don't currently know about it, and you are still willing to watch h3 content now that you know about it. that is creepy af and I'm allowed to call you out for it. I'm not a "snarker" for thinking it's creepy that someone would continue watching Ethan's content after knowing how creepy he is toward children.

Hooby

Okay, whatever.

witch-witch

Being left and progressive isn't just about being morally correct, it's also about showing genuine grace to people who may have had the wrong opinion before and building solidarity towards shared goals. Ryan didn't the most morally perfect choice every single time, but I don't see the point of multiple comments expressing the same anger critique over and over again at someone that seems fairly learnable and open to changing his opinion.

witch-witch

I agree with this! I think it's an unnecessary fight because it feels fairly critical but less evidence-based on the other points made. Additional context would be needed but I think it would be easier to take it out than re-edit to add more in.

witch-witch

I think this is the best kind of response for an online creator that was later than others in having a position on ethan's terrible zionist harassment campaigns, Ryan eventually realized, changed their opinion, and made a meaningful contribution to correct and clarify their position. We don't get any rewards for being on the right side faster and alllll of the left commentary space would benefit for building more bridges instead of moral policing each other into chaos

Nicole Randell

I noticed that too - my one and only note on this video, which was overall excellent. Denims and Hasan are fairly aligned but pretty sure Ryan would still be welcome over at PBS. Hasan just reacted to part 1 of this series 2 days ago on his stream and it was well-received.

Made of Stardust

Well witch-witch the point of repeating myself is because people like you refuse to come to terms with the fact that VICTIM BLAMING THE VICTIMS OF A MULTIPLE YEARS OF HARASSMENT FOR NOT BACKGROUND ON THE ONLY GUY ACTUALLY SPEAKING UP FOR THEM AND CALLING IT AS BAD AS PARTNERING UP WITH DANIEL SALTMAN AND STEVEN BONNELERLIE IS BAD!!! MAINLY WHEN THE VICTIMS OF THE HARASSMENT CAMPAIGE DID CUT TIES WITH THAT GUY BEFORE RYAN AND OTHERS DARED SPEAK OUT AGAINST ETHAN KLEIN SO REALLY TO PUT IT IN THE "Guys I'm doing this video because I was fooled by ethan klein" ASS VIDEO REALLY TAKES SOMEONE OUT AND THEN PEOPLE, LIKE YOURSELF, KEEP CRYING ABOUT THE GENTLE PUSH BACK AT SUCH A VICTIM BLAMING POINT IN THE 4 HOURS OF CONTENT i WATCHED. Hopefully all that caps lock will help you grasp the point <3

Sophie Meyer

The denims diss is unnecessary and she's speaking about something more nuanced in the clip.

Narfii

I was in the Cruel World Happy Mind streams after her video dropped. I’m not gonna say she was perfect, but what the H3 army was putting in her chat was terrifying to me. Countless threats of calling CPS, sexual violence, etc. I’m glad to see someone sticking up for her in a more nuanced way

L. Daniel Gomez

That exact kinda "rules for thee, not for me" mentality is the shit that ruins everything and everyone.

Ryan Everett

A huge part of why people hate any of these rich millionaires and billionaires (Ethan/Hila/Ryan Kav) is cause they spend hundreds of thousands to protect their fragile egos while most of us regular people are living paycheck to paycheck!

Peachy

I really, really hope that you upload this publicly. The harassment of Trisha and the completely unhinged way he spoke to Hasan during their last debate is a perfect summary of his grip on reality

T

I never knew anything about H3 or Ethan until I came across your channel. I was immediately mortified and I respect you so much for continuing to kick his back in. Hope you're doing well! 🖤

arose4u2

Damn you really should release this on on YouTube as well ngl. It speaks to his character even more than the other one. And I was one of those fans that was so blinded by whatever Ethan said that I thought Ryan Kavanaugh was awful and deserved all this when he really did absolutely nothing except he cofounded a company that then defended their own copyright. This is the first time I am learning that he never sued Ethan first.

2026-10-19 14:00 Meaning this as a good-faith attempt to give constructive feedback: the Bad Empanada tangent from around 30:42 to 34:55 derails things a bit too much in my opinion. It disrupts the flow of that segment, makes the video feel less cohesive, and kinda weakens the viewing experience. Even though I truly don’t think this is your intention, it comes off as you just wanting to air out your grievances with Hasan-adjacent creators. Like, how does Denims calling you a liberal or Noah Samsen having BE on his lawsuit fundraising stream illustrate your point about cult-like fanbases? If you’re able to do one more editing pass before posting it to YouTube, the video might be stronger if you remove it. As a fellow Fallen Fan™️, thank you for putting so much work into your coverage of H3. Like you, I also unfortunately supported them for years, and overlooked a lot of their shit. I'm a queer man who was getting increasingly uncomfortable with Ethan's weird fixation on gay men's sex lives and bodies (e.g. claiming that men who bottom become incontinent, treating the foot fetish guy and the prolapse/fisting guy like a freakshow in a way that he wouldn't have if they were straight dudes with similarly niche kinks, buying Nikacado's OF content just to make fun of his body, sexually harassing a gay caller, etc). But when Dan flipped out at chatters who pointed out the pattern of homophobia I fell into line, and even felt embarrassed about being so sensitive. The QTCinderella chestnuts incident was strike two, and then I finally dipped out for good around the time Leftovers ended. Anyway, sorry for dropping a goddamn novella in your comments lol, it’s just been incredibly validating to see more open pushback against the Kleins. You’ve done a great job at demonstrating their track record of gross behaviour. Appreciate ya!

Very very well done video. You show hypocrisy in a way that’s very satisfying to see. I learned about this series from Hasan watching the first video, so as a member of his community, I would like to say a few things. Firstly, the only critiques I’d have is that you kind of generalized the community in a way I feel is a bit unfair sometimes. For example, you mentioned how you were ostracized by the community, but only showed a clip of Denims speaking very mildly about you. I definitely understand you may have seen some hurtful comments, but I don’t feel that represents the community as a whole. The whole BE thing is more fair than not, I agree Hasan and some of the community was too charitable to the guy, myself included purely because I had next to no knowledge about him at the time. I will say, maybe as an excuse, but this was during a time where Ethan was launching lawsuits, and anger against Zionism and Ethan was at a high. People definitely overlooked more than they should have, and now BE has his own style of harassment campaign against Hasan which you may see as a bit of karmic justice. Which I get, he should have been left alone. Saying that Ethan called the community out for cult like behavior after Kayagate is wholly unfair imo. I get that “don’t believe your eyes” is a stupid thing to say, but acting like this is fair criticism of the community as a whole when that statement gets laughed at by Ethan, of all people, is unfair. For people like me, we kind of just watched her grow up as one of the most spoiled dogs I’ve ever seen, and when that whole thing happened, we figured it was not likely he used a shock collar. Can’t speak for the community as a whole, but personally I didn’t see anything I would characterize as cult like. If you had more examples, I could see what you mean, but the one given was not good to be honest. But overall, really enjoyed the video, and I’m glad you put in the work that you did to make it! It was funny, sharp, and very well produced. :)

He said it's a long series so I'm guessing there's a couple more parts at least!

And they've got sooo much worse over the last 12 months too. They seem to be in a constant state of paranoia where anyone commenting in the sub is treated with suspicion just in case they're actually a secret "snarker" trying to infiltrate the community. It's actually funny how many arguments they have with each other as they snark-vestigate people for using the wrong emoji or not immediately recognising one of their inside jokes or adding one line of super mild and constructive criticism to their otherwise glazing reply. A month or two ago, someone even got snark-vestigated by multiple users because they WERE TOO COMPLIMENTARY ABOUT GWAM / KATE 🙃 And what's even more funny is that both the kate-glazing account *and* the users who called it out, all got banned for being "snarkers" 🙃 I know this sounds melodramatic but I genuinely believe that Ehan's lies about "snark" and how dangerous and scary they are, has had a negative impact on the mental health of some of his community members. Not all of them obviously, but some people on that subreddit talk about how scared they are of being found out as a h3 fan, how they're frightened to wear teddy fresh in public, and how they've had to cut loved ones out of their life because they became "snark brained". A lot of this stuff is just weird and funny, but there are also some genuinely sad or even concerning stories coming out of the H3 fan base lately. I doubt Ethan cares.

Duck Dungeon Gaming

Isn't it a little dishonest to say hasans followers are cult-like, then only to highlight how Noah hasn't distanced himself fron Bad Empanada, and a clip from Denims. What is the association with Hasan, what is Hasan responsibility there? At least draw a connection. Maybe people were critical because you conflate Hasan and Ethan, but you cannot even show any examples.

Black Belt Mama

Ryan this is some immaculate research my friend, I hope you have a good healthy way to clear the Ethan rot from your brain 😭👏💜

This 10000000%. I'm not the biggest fan of Trisha, she's said some pretty heinous shit. That said, I wouldn't wish what they put her through on my worst enemy. It was actually criminal how they treated her. I hope she's doing okay now. 😭

sunrEsin

one thing that’s not a huge deal but i thought you might care to hear it,, but ‘CP’ is commonly referred to as ‘CSAM’ now. i think the distinction might seem insignificant but when looking into it actually makes sense and sounds and feels a lot more accurate.

Oh God I was with Ethan through the Ryan Kavanaugh lawsuit and I was on his side. I was fully convinced he was the worst guy and that at all attention and harassment was justified in some way. The way the show operates is to lay low on tension against ethan but ethan gets to say whatever he wants. He wants peoples lives ruined for saying the wrong thing when he literally has a button to hit whenever he "accidentally" says something racist, violent, or untrue or a joke that goes way too far, or to yell at his employees.

Gabriella Hernandez

New fallen fan, welcome! It sucks for sure to watch someone whose content you used to enjoy slowly descend into madness. You may find that many of these “fallen fans” of h3 aren’t nearly as malicious as he paints them out to be, it’s mainly people disappointed to realize that a creator they enjoyed/supported didn’t end up being the person they portrayed themselves online to be.

Virginia Cruz

And your explanation for the 3 hours of destruction is...? People do change their mind and thank god for that.

um

agreed. and let's not forget there is a genocide happening. i don't blame creators for not being fully aware of their contemporaries' full parasocial lore.

um

i only learned of who ethan klein was when that whole sam seder/crowder thing happened, so i didn't know what his show used to be like - but was it always so dark and nasty, or has the delusional hatred that is zionism just poisoned his whole world? in a functional country, ethan would be in prison, or at least rehab.

BadPierogi

If that's a diss, then what she said about Ryan was also a diss. To me it's fair if he wanted to respond to her comment.

Angel Lizardi

When you said "Cheese dog" I died.

Amanda E

any fandom can be cultlike especially online hasan fans often echo his phrases/expressions and i've seen them be pretty defensive online (i get it...he gets a lot of criticism that's bs but they CAN seem hyperdefensive...especially on Twitter where he seems to be a lot and also where everyone is at their worst )

Duck Dungeon Gaming

I mean any fanbase can, including Ryan's. The thing I take issue with is the holier than thou additude, in the video, when it comes to directing harrassment there really isn't anything Hasan had done here, and the examples of awful behavior and OK with doxing is literally third degree, as opposed to what Ethan has done directly. Ryan isn't really upholding Ethan or himself to the same standard as he does Hasan.

Virginia Cruz

After watching it a second time, I have to say that Hila staying silent while her husband belittled her sister-in-law, the wife of her brother and the mother of her nephews about her experience with sexual assault is unbelievably awful. I am not one to blame the wife for the husband's mistake but my god, she was the family link!

Solidpliskin

Had to join to check out part two. Great videos!

High Roll Cast

To be as nice as possible though, it wasn't just sweeping for Ethan from you back then. You doubled down on claiming that Rashid al Hadad was a Houthi pirate when it was well proven he wasn't, you blocked me on Twatter when i (perhaps rudely, because i did think you were a shitlib) disagreed with your running defence for Holocaust Harris, and a few other examples i can't recall because it has been a while. Before that i WAS an avid watcher and after i dismissed you as a liberal zionist. As for Badempanada, he's very unhinged in his actions, very much so, but he's still very educated on the topics, and the criticism he makes is usually on point. Specifically his videos and criticism of liberal zionists are fair, just that his ACTIONS are unhinged. The message is good, not the messenger. But there are better messengers (Kav, Noah, Chris Kunzler, Overzealots, beyond left and right to name a few) and I'm pretty sure everyone always stays critical of BE's actions despite agreeing. Like, Kav and Noah definitely have been putting distance, kav not ever even interacting with BE. but i could be wrong. But leftists (myself included) have definitely been way too soft on BE's actions. Sorry for the essay, if you wanna hit me with the "I ain't reading all that, free Palestine" bar i wouldn't blame you.

Cumtown Resident

I was a fan of BE’s long-form essay content. I still think those are solid videos on his main channel. To say Hasan fans were “sweeping” for BadEmpanada is disingenuous. All the comments I observed online, including the “snark” communities you used to source this video, all agreed that BE was an unhinged weirdo. He was just the only person that was speaking up against Ethan when people, like you, Ryan, were either indifferent or even outright defending Ethan. Most people, including myself, weren’t familiar with his streaming/debate content, which is widely known as annoying and unhinged. Hasan put off watching anything BE-related due to BE citing Hasan not adding enough commentary to his videos to make it transformative. Hasan also outright called BadEmpanada crazy and unhinged on multiple occasions. Noah Samson invited them to talk on a charity stream for Palestine where Hasan just properly explained his true beliefs beyond what BE and his audience manufactured. Hasan even reiterated that he thought BE was still unhinged, which was proven immediately after when BE began attacking Hasan and labeling him a “liberal Zionist.” Again, nobody was running to defend BE besides his dedicated fanbase and most people weren’t disillusioned when he continued posting like the freak we all knew him to be. He fell completely out of favor based on things you cited in your video along with racist/antisemitic/transphobic comments he made on Twitter. He’s never had a plan to make the world better, he’s just an accelerationist, if not an outright fed. To be charitable to you because I think these videos are great for current H3 cultists and those who are just generally unaware, I think you’re doing well changing your perspective. I just don’t think using Hasan or his fans hyping up BE for a month as an excuse for defending Ethan is great, nor do I think it’s extremely relevant since the discourse explicitly called BE what he was even at the time (by Hasan’s fans, non-fans, and Hasan himself).

Cumtown Resident

Honestly, I think they’re trying to come off as “credible” to Ethan’s fans, who fucking hate both of them. I like Hasan and Denims and enjoy their content, but taking jabs at the people that have been directly targeted by the H3 and Dan Stalkman harassment campaign (and the H3 legal harassment campaign) is a bit of a cowardly way to go about it. I’ll be charitable and say that Ryan is still growing and will be able to take clear stands in the future. Not saying they need to agree with everything, but this feels like they’re still trying to come off as “objective” to irrational people.

Cumtown Resident

He got a lot of this from the “snark” subs he disavows. I mean, it’s all good because that’s kind of the point of the H3 criticism forums, but it is funny to think about.

Cumtown Resident

Yeah, Ryan kind of deflecting or justifying DEFENDING Ethan Klein after at least a year of harassment and Hasbara. Nobody was disillusioned by BE rolling in the mud with Ethan. People just knew Ethan engaging with him would be a car crash that’s impossible not to watch.

Cumtown Resident

Couldn’t have said it better myself. Tying Hasan and his fans to BE and his sycophants is wild.

Cumtown Resident

Yeah, Evey’s fanbase has sycophants. Hasan isn’t above criticism, and I think most people are pretty reasonable when it comes to that. It’s just the loudest online dumbasses that fuck it up. I don’t even watch Hasan on twitch, I’m almost fuckin 30 and have to use YouTube when I have time like a boomer.

Cumtown Resident

Honestly, I go on there, and I’m not going to take offense. I don’t want people to know I’m on there because it’s the most terminally online thing I’ve ever participated in. Social credit score would go down tremendously even though I think all the criticism of Ethan is valid and valuable to document. But Ryan def just scrolled LeftoversH3 to get most of the research.

Cumtown Resident

I mean, running to Ethan’s defense and being cagey in regards to the genocide will get people to write you off if they’re a leftist. There are a couple issues, like a literal genocide, that leftists will be unwavering on. Also, leftists agreeing? lol There are jokes about leftist infighting for a reason.

Cumtown Resident

Dan just blindly agrees with Ethan now. He also straight-up defames people, like Noah Samson, these days.

Cumtown Resident

I mean, it just kind of shows that Ryan is still a bit insecure about it. Ryan’s knee-jerk reaction was to defend Ethan blindly. I don’t think Denims was wrong at all, especially at the time.

Cumtown Resident

I was with you 100% until the Noah Samson and Denims bit. I think you have a long way to go with your history of defending Zionists/Zionism before you critique Noah Samson. “Nobody actually cares about harassment” and “I’ve changed my opinion,” while acting like Noah is directly defending the actions of BE like you have with Ethan. Good videos, but man, the false equivalence is wild. Don’t let your personal insecurity about being called a lib stop you from continuing to grow. To be clear, they arrived at their positions on the genocide and Ethan himself like two years before you, so I think it’s disappointing to see the defensiveness despite saying you’re owning up to your own mistakes.

Cumtown Resident

That’s kind of what Ryan did with denims and Noah, so I’m going to say that arriving late to opinions on a genocide and a hasbarist are relevant. Ryan did a great job with the videos, but that part was pretty misplaced.

Cumtown Resident

You hit the nail on the head. Remaining skeptical of Ryan because that shit didn’t make any sense. They saw the light after two years of harassment and genocide apologia, after running defense for it.

Tiffany Zalas

What? That’s so crazy. He wasn’t even the one suing him?

cassou

great video, thoroughly enjoyed parts one and two! I agree with other commenters that the noah/denims/FD bit weakens the video. you yourself agree that you defended people you shouldn’t have, for too long. even if denims isn’t exactly eloquent in her delivery of that - i don’t think she was shitting on you. i think it’s really commendable for you to come to these conclusions about ethan publicly and put all this work in. the shots at leftist creators dull the message and feel out of place, or like you’re trying to maybe… preemptively disprove h3 fans’ eventual whataboutisms? i think it may be better if you wanted to do a future video reflecting on your experience trying to enter the space. inserted in this video, it comes off a little butthurt. these creators were primarily covering a genocide, and swept into a vindictive frivolous lawsuit by a bully in the midst of it. unlike ethan who was primarily covering… smear campaigns, and never stopped. denims calling you a lib and noah signal boosting BE both feel so insignificant in this endless pile of actually heinous shit you have on ethan.

um

It's not "agree or you're evil" - it's "which side are you on?" generally speaking, a valid question amidst an ongoing genocide.

um

yes. it's not *porn* - it's abuse material.

Katie C

Has there been any mention of when part 3 might be coming? 👀 It may have been mentioned in the video and I'm a dingus and missed it

melondramatics

Hmm, I will just say that I think you could show a bit more charitability towards those who have associated with BE in the past, considering how much I imagine you wish people were more charitable towards you with your past association with Ethan Klein. Denims' critique of you seems to be stemming from your past defenses of him, and I feel like it's an instance where you might be better to cut your losses and move on. The conclusions you draw about Noah Samsen feel like reaches too - I get not liking BE, but I think it's clouding your ability to judge others who have interacted with him before too. Anyway, this was otherwise a great video, but the section around hasan/denims/noah and trying to tie them to BE is definitely the weakest part.

Cumtown Resident

Going after Noah Samson while defending Ethan Klein and repeating the lie about Rashid being a Houthi pirate seems pretty tone deaf from Ryan. Dude didn’t even cover that stuff in these parts, I don’t even remember them walking that back. Noah Samson has been unapologetically speaking about the genocide and has fundraised incredibly well for the cause. Ryan talking about him in this way is pretty gross.

Cumtown Resident

Also, RB defended Ethan, after tha thasbarist did Nakba revisionism on his podcast. Ryan Beard also gave credence to the outright lie about Rashid being a Houthi pirate. I think those things deserve far more condemnation than having BE, a person that everybody acknowledged was insane, on two charity streams. It’s not like Noah is friends with BE and defends his honor when it comes to doxxing. RB defended Ethan at the height of the harassment campaign. Ryan is just proving the “liberal” allegations true with that section.

FireCrimson

I’ll personally take an L for that one and freely admit it; I do remember other members of Hasan’s community saying some warnings but it’s very easy to lose sight of things against someone who sucks. Obviously that’s just a mark on me, though.

MissDemeanor

Great video, I'd love to keep up with this series if you continue it, I really appreciate the way you research and contextualize things (your Destiny nuke is great btw). I also think you did a fantastic job with the visuals and editing here, and the sound mixing in this video in particular was excellent (so eerie in the trishyland segment)! There are clearly a lot of people in these comments and on Twitter who could stand to be more normal, i hope they don't put you off of covering more on this topic, though tbqh I'd understand if that's what happens because Leftist Infighting is SO exhausting. Again, great video and also congrats on the Patreon explosion!

2026-10-11 15:00 Effort post incoming: I agree completely. I think there is also some conflation going on between certain streamers and their audiences. Like, some fans of Hasan giving BE a pass for too long is not the same as Hasan doing so. (This is also something he genuinely didn't do. Hasan was always very clear about respecting BE's research and knowledge on Israel/Palestine while saying that he acted like a crazy person outside of that. The last time he spoke to him directly, as I recall, was on a fundraising stream Noah was hosting when he popped up in the chat and asked to join the stream.) Basically, the criticism of certain portions of streamer audience(s) behaving like fans and giving too much grace to BE was not totally unfair, but that has to be the claim. Or, be specific about which streamers or how they were being too tolerant of the bad behavior. Ex; A Denim's quote as evidence for a claim about Hasan doesn't make a good argument. Or, he could focus on Noah's justifications, which are easy to find. (Fwiw, I think Noah is doing amazing work, but I so disagree with how he excused BE's tactics in the past. I won't deny the BE's work has made me think complexly about this issue, but it doesn't outweigh his negative tactics and output that I feel ultimately damage the movement.) Also, Ryan comparing himself to FD here was a bit of a stretch, imo. FD had just called out BE in a debate for his choice to engage in racism as a so-called tool for his "advocacy" for Palestinians in a conversation he was also kind of pressed to have in a fundraising stream for Noah. He was deeply frustrated in this stream - and justifiably so after having to deal with this person. However, this is a bit different from Denims perceiving Ryan to be moving "like a liberal" because of who he was choosing to criticize and defend at the time while she was being sued by EK. (As I heard it, she was not saying that leftists can't criticize people claiming to be on the left. **This feels like a straw man and I don't think she believes this at all.** Rather, the implication was that the way people spend their time and who they defend/attack may be a good indication of their actual politics (a la the Bulwark). And, considering her situation, is it really surprising that she would cynically interpret Ryan criticizing someone/multiple people on the left while defending/ignoring the liberal Zionist suing her as him operating in bad faith?) Basically, Ryan criticizing BE and having his politics questioned was likely coming from a more complex place than whatever he was trying to imply by comparing himself with FD, who also criticized BE (but has consistently kept that same smoke for people like EK.) I just don't think these bits match the overall quality of the video.

(Fwiw, I think Noah is doing amazing work, but I so disagree with how he excused BE's tactics in the past. I won't deny the BE's work has made me think complexly about this issue, but it doesn't outweigh his negative tactics and output that I feel ultimately damage the movement.) Also, Ryan comparing themself to FD here was a bit of a stretch, imo. However, this is a bit different from Denims perceiving Ryan to be moving "like a liberal" because of who they were choosing to criticize and defend at the time while she was being sued by EK. And, considering her situation, is it really surprising that she would cynically interpret Ryan criticizing someone/multiple people on the left while defending/ignoring the liberal Zionist suing her as them operating in bad faith?) Basically, Ryan having their politics questioned likely came from a more complex place than whatever Ryan was trying to imply by comparing themself with FD, who also criticized BE (but has consistently kept that same smoke for people like EK). Hasan was also critical and didn't get called a lib for that either. I just don't think these bits match the overall quality of the video. Nothing wrong with criticizing people on the left when it's earned, but it just felt poorly researched and presented next to the rest - sort of shoved in to create a parallel for the sake of the structure of the video.

Effort post incoming: I agree completely. I think there is also some conflation going on between certain streamers and their audiences. Like, some fans of Hasan giving BE a pass for too long is not the same as Hasan doing so. (This is also something he genuinely didn't do. Hasan was always very clear about respecting BE's research/knowledge and work on his Israel/Palestine YT videos, while saying that he acted like a crazy person outside of that. The last time he spoke to BE directly, as I recall, was on a fundraising stream Noah was hosting when he popped up in the chat and asked to join.) Basically, the criticism of certain portions of streamer audience(s) behaving like fans and giving too much grace to BE was not totally unfair, but that has to be the claim. Or, be specific about which streamers were being too tolerant of the bad behavior and how. Ex; A Denim's quote as evidence for a claim about Hasan doesn't make a good argument - pull something Hasan said/did. Or, Ryan could focus on Noah's justifications, which are easy to find. dean

is there a release schedule for this series? need to clear my schedule lol

Paige Lawrence

I joined just so I could watch part 2 after watching Hassan react to part 1 and I wasn't disappointed! :) It should be said though about Bad Empanada that ever large movement needs to have the 'crazy guy' who goes too far and pisses people off. It gets more eyes on what's happening and brings more support. There were men just like him supporting MLK, its an important part whether you like him or not.

Dena

True but none of that was demonstrated in the video. That's the issue. He says Hasan has a cult then talks about Noah, Denims, BE without drawing a throughline.

bones

and ethan's video about the song about consent for kids. that shit was bad even during the edgy internet days.

Cumtown Resident

Responded pretty poorly. It shows a lack of self-reflection imo. It’s a pretty bad case of false equivalence.

D Bli

This reminds me of him laughing at Bobby Lee while Bobby was talking about a super traumatic event in his past

Holly Hodson

I’m sad for the me who didn’t know who Ryan Beard was. Thank you for your service 💗🩷💗

Dzon Brodi

As Hassan said, these whole videos are basically Ethan Klein criticising Ethan Klein

moonbeam

I'm an ex long time h3 fan. The research you put into this is phenomenal, I've tried to elaborate on all of this with a friend who (doesn't watch the pod anymore) still likes h3. Showing him these videos changed his mind.

Travis D

smirk smirk 😏😏

Sam

Dan sucks just as much as Ethan. I’ve always stood on this hill.

I would hope you would at least give Ryan enough grace to stop pretending this is “behind a paywall.” That’s really disingenuous, and you don’t gain credibility by continuing to say it.

Made of Stardust

It is behind a paywall and was for (checks when I left the comment) a whole fortnight. So. I hope you find a better hobby than waiting for the behind the paywall video to go live 2 full whole weeks later to think try and get a gotcha on people. Cause this was sad. And missed the actual point I was making, which was "Hey buddy, you know you weren't actually ostracized from Hasan's community (or Denims since thats actually how they had a problem) because you knew the community would sub to this here patreon sub and pay to have a two week preview to watch your video because they hadn't actually ostracized you." so.

I understand that their position is not completely perfect, I do agree with your overall position that Ryan could have been more nuanced and clear about their own missteps in defense of Ethan. However, I do think that Ryan can still change their opinion at any time and should be given the opportunity to do so at their own personal timeline. Just like literally every other person working out their beliefs. I also do still think you are not getting anywhere by repeating yourself and misrepresenting the positions of the people you disagree with. I would really encourage you to take your energy to actual organizing spaces and learn how to build with other leftists rather than spending your time fighting with and about internet personalities

Made of Stardust

"I agree with you however I disagree with a thing you didn't say" okay and??? "I don't think you're getting anywhere repeating yourself" I don't think you're getting anywhere being in this comment thread while not being ryan beard. So we're at a by pass. "I would really encourage you to take your energy to actual organizing spaces and blah blah blah" I would really encourage you to stop white knighting for ryan beard being told "No ellen that's not true" to a lie they are spreading -the lie being they were ostrisized from the Hasan (Or Denims) communities -and saying that they still have some reflection to do. Nonsense. Stop being in my damn emails.

Yes. I have said this for years. I do not like Trisha, I have never watched a single video from her, but she was always adjacent to the content I was already watching. But full heartedly believe that his treatment of her from start to finish is the most blatantly evil thing that he's done. From the online bullying, to bringing her on the show to be bullied, to setting her up with his wife's brother and then trying to break them up??? I can't, it's so mean spirited, and I have admittedly cried for her when she was crashing out, because I cannot imagine being treated that way by someone who calls you their friend.

josh

I also used to follow bad empanada due to his anti-israel viewpoint only to find that he is definitely an extremist

arose4u2

Right he defended him for a year while Ethan was attacking him

Katarzyna Słyż

Sooooo...... Any plans for a cheeky 4th video after recent revelations...? 👀👀👀👀

BowenTheSheep

Honestly I don’t pay much attention to streamer drama. But after seeing the series of videos from Professor Dave about destiny (literally the first time I’ve experienced destiny for any length of time) I’m utterly convinced his hatred of Hasan is because destiny wanted to get in his pants and got rejected. Hell hath no fury like a Disaster Bi scorned, and watching destiny drunkenly sexually assault Hasan while the latter repeatedly asks him to stop screams that destiny is the teenage kid in high school who got rejected by his crush and decides to dedicate literally everything he does to hating them.

I made this comment 1 month ago. Today ended up watching hasanabi react to this video in an upload on his channel and he literally explains this same concept I picked up on here. Badempanada in that clip was saying if you call out people for defending genocide and they feel "harassed" just for being called a genocide apologist/supporter, or/and zionist, then that isn't a reason to take back your factual claims. thats stupid. And I think you agree with it actually as in the most recent part you call Ethan a Zionist (as he definitionally is, he believes Israel must exist as a Jewish state) despite how he has said that calling him one is harassment. So I came back here to say I have no idea why you juxtaposed a take you fundamentally agree with with a clip of ethan literally calling for people to send someone human shit like its comparable. I agree with your seperate point that badempanada should not dox people. Maybe next time use a clip of bad empanada doxxing people to make your point instead of painting another comment in a false light due to your own misunderstanding. Just be more careful about these things when you have a bias about someone, as you seem to want everyone else to do in your mission statement? I will choose to believe this was a misunderstanding and that it was not you wanting to have noah/hasan in frame with Badempanada while mischaracterizing what he is saying it to try to smear them both by closer association with that guy's "bad behaviour".
