Great video! I was worried you wouldn't get into the iran stuff but you touched on it near the end. Warmongerer Klein called for the US to strike Iran in JANUARY. After the strikes on Feb. 28 he doubled down and argued that war is necessary to take down oppressive regimes and it would end well for Iran "like Japan and Germany". He thinks Iran would be Marshall plan'd into becoming an ally (as if the cold war is still going on) instead of being being pillaged for resourced and left to collapse (like every single country the US intervened in in the last 40 years).

Nazis swatting Ethan is a result of plain prejudice, not systemic material oppression. The reality is while antisemitism does exist in the abstract, it is immaterial on any systemic level. People can be prejudiced against for being white, but we’d never say they experience systemic oppression. Every group “could” become endangered if “the wrong people take power”. I don’t like BE but he was largely correct, even if he expressed it in a very volatile and inflammatory way. I don’t think you said anything wrong in those dms and I don’t think your walk back was necessary (nor does you concession really contradict the original statement, because again your example is one of isolated individual prejudice by a hate group, not institutional oppression).

I think Ethan has just become too rich, too self-important, and too immune from consequences. I think he genuinely believed he was untouchable. That kind of egomania leads someone to act extremely selfishly. He has an endlessly sycophantic fanbase and his employees were apparently ride-or-die right up until he crossed the line of messing with their potential income stream. That kind of environment turns someone who already has a history of being arrogant and unwilling to show empathy into someone who is incapable of even contemplating the idea that they may face real consequences for their actions. I really enjoy your videos and I am with you on everything, it's just small corrections that irk me a bit. Like when you said, "Maybe it's true that Ramallah isn't generally a safe place for Israelis to go", you left out the context that legally speaking, under international law, Israelis are not supposed to be able to freely enter the West Bank because it's technically sovereign Palestinian land, yet it is constantly terrorized by the IDF who have a permanent military presence there. In other words, whether or not it's "safe" for an invading ethnic cleansing terrorist organization is irrelevant, because they DO go there and they're there all the time. That's not even mentioning the so called "settlers" (land thieves). Just wanted you to frame it in a better context, that's all. But yeah, case in point, if a bunch of US troops and armed, racist American citizens marched across the Mexican border and started militarily occupying their land, of COURSE it's not gonna be "safe", so I think the context is important.
