Prince Lie is so naive that he's an easy target for anyone who wants to manipulate or steer him. His brother could do that with his advice about the military map, and Changying couldn't tell it was a very wrong move. Now Huayong is doing that again with his "heartfelt encouragement"... I kind of like the guy, so I can only hope he learns from all this when he understands what's being done to him and becomes more autonomous. And then just hope he won't become a villain. Also, it wasn't really said if he's about to choose his military career and honouring grandfather over marriage with Xihe. Maybe he chose the complete opposite of what Huayong expected?
