I wish Yake and Young Master Yu's marriage would fail, to be honest. Yake needs some karmic punishment for her betrayal. Grandmother choosing to get rid of the "stain" on their family just to preserve their status and the honour of chastity and virtue they have is terrible. Discarding the treasured granddaughter on the first bump? I really hope she also gets some karmic punishment eventually. Moxiang's death was so unexpected and sudden. But it did look intentional, only raising more questions: Was she really killed? If she was, who did it? The Zuos? They really are going all in to get Tingyun to marry Madam Zuo's younger brother. Insane effort! I hope you're really enjoying this, because I am super excited and I think with every episode it just gets better and better. That music adds a lot of tension. And the choice of colours as well, especially when they have those darker shots. Can't wait for the leads to unite!

Also, I wanted to add a fun fact I read today — Ding Yuxi used actual hot water for that scene where he caught the cup. And on top of that, it was his idea! He wanted to make the scene more believable. To be fair, he very often puts himself in harm's way to ensure the authenticity of the scene. I can't even count how many times I have seen his hands damaged, him limping, and many other things. That man is insane with how dedicated he is to his roles.

Ding Yuxi is insane!! I would not dare do that! As someone who has been burnt by boiling hot water that is not fun and I definitely would not do it by choice lolol

What i didn’t want to happen actually happened. I want the worst for Yake. Staining her reputation like this, ruining her life just for a man you knew for a few days. She’s the worst. Ok,I found the character to despise till the end. There’s always one in these dramas.
