A really cool fun fact I stumbled upon — Deng Enxi's birthday is April 18th, and Tingyun's birthday is the 18th day of the 4th month (Zuo Junjie said that in one of the first episodes when he asked to compare their birthdates or something). That would be pretty amazing if the scene was actually filmed on that day and they made the fireworks as a gift to the actress, but I guess I'll never know. 😅

Ah, and about the age gap. I don't know how big it's supposed to be in the drama, but I think Zhao Ling is supposed to be older. In one of the first episodes, Sen told him that he's already old but has no wife. As for real life — Ding Yuxi is almost 10 years older than Deng Enxi. He just turned 31 few weeks ago and she's 21 atm.

One thing I really love about this drama is that the Ling and Tingyun do not always make the 100% correct choice in every situation. They are still young and have not yet fully understood how much hardship it takes to uphold justice and their ideals. But it is great that they can learn from elders/supporting characters like Madam Wang. Truly love Madam Wang's line about not rushing, even when it is the right decision/path.
