The Story So Far...

You shuffle the pathways, spinning them around as you spin on stage, your eyes never leaving the screens as you track Serenity Painter through the building. You can't add space or warp reality to make your lair bigger on the inside - yet - but you can absolutely make it more and more confusing to advance towards you.

Oops! Sorry, those stairs just go round and round and round before leading backwards! That corridor is just one long loop back around.

It's fun, but you're just tiring her out.

"You're lost and on your own,

Now you'll reap the fate you've sewn,

'Cus your time has come to fall,

Yeah you're gunna be my thrall~..."

Tiring her out and mocking her. But...

[Resistance Check: Difficulty 70 - 1d100]

(Difficulty = Base Attack score (20) + Curse of Verse Rank Bonus (30) + Volume Bonus (10) + Lair Bonus (10) = 60)

Serenity Painter: 134 (Pass)

(Bonuses: Base Resistance (+10) + Rank 2 Serenity (+20) + Resistance (+10) = +40) Roll: 94

She just sticks her tongue out and flings paint at your cameras again. Argh. Okay, that is it. Painter wants to make a mess of the place? Then she can be the one to clean it up!

You snap your fingers, trying not to snarl, and turn the set of stairs she's on into a slide. For a moment you feel spitefully satisfied, and then she just splashes paint at her feet and slides down even faster, cheering with joy. Oh. Oh, how you hate her. Even her crash through the doors at the bottom of the stairwell isn't enough to cool your rage...

Of course, that may be because all you've done is throw her in the janitor's closet. There's a bunch of cleaning supplies and mops and whatever in there, but you can't really animate those like you did your merchandise. You're SongsTress, not SqueakyClean or anything like that. Your moves have got to be on theme, you have a brand to maintain.

But still. There are plenty of fresh speakers in there, waiting for your song - and you can definitely add a few surprises, too. That's going to be important, since she's still wearing those painted headphones of hers - she's still resistant to your lyrics... What are you going to hit her with, great Mistress of Music?

One up painter in her own game and paint her into a maid.

Eman230

She might be resistant to the *lyrics* but how about the beat? Up the bass in your beats to the max and see if you can rattle those headphones and brains out of her head.

John Smith

Use the beat to knock some cleaning supplies on to her and wash the paint, including the headphones away and then blast her with your lyrics, which in combination with the cleaning supplies wipe her mind

Dosahder

Nothing can resist a musical montage. Have the cleaning supplies drag her into a song and dance number about the importance of cleaning up after yourself.

ShyGuy 42

Use pure and raw sound to toss her around, maybe jostling her with some heavy metal or something similar might knock those headphones off and help kickstart her conversion?

Loewen

Send your new fan club president to help take her down. Who says we need to fight fair?

BG

She's in a room with a lot of cleaning supplies, and her powers are paint based. Find some way to get that stuff soaking her-see if you can shake the room enough to knock things off the shelves and the like-and soak her in it. Let's see her paint her way out of that!

Dragof2

Knock the water off the shelves onto her, with a song about being "washed away" by the music.
