Becca

"shoot him". the way I laughed knowing what's coming hahaha. honestly love your reactions 🥹

jennifer

The season 2 finale is one of the best ever. It was my favorite episode of the series until the series finale, which was just as good. Great reaction as always. Looking forward to watching the next one with you.

AngelaTeacher

Those are my two favorite episodes as well!

Karoliina

So good! And if you watched the finale already, please give it to us ASAP. The writing is so good, that you guys are making often right assumptions of what happens next, but then something else happens and the whole scenario you built in your mind will be demolished. And no, they are not just making out 😘😂 You are right about their chemistry. That thang that happened in London last week continues to make (and keep) the fandom feral. The video from that moment has gathered 13 MILLION views in TikTok in one week! Even Netflix activated around YR one year after the S3 finale and posted couple of days ago in Twitter a meme, which beautifully mixes WILHELM and OMAR (not Wilhelm and Simon or Edvin and Omar).

Dennis Verner

Gentlemen, you have no clue. Once again gird your loins! By the way, loved your reaction. ❤️ ❤️

Karoliina

About what would you do in the same situation. You were right, it is extremely complex. Love vs forced privilege. About Wille throwing up. I think he realized right at that table that now that Simon plans to report August, he will no longer have a reserve and his life is doomed to throne, no matter what. He got a severe panic attack and threw up and dissociated and had to go to bed and nap to survive. I know how that situation feels and Edvin portrayed that beautifully. He has said he also suffers of anxiety, so that scene probably was meaningful to him.

D Cantu

Please do not wait too long for episode 6. You won't believe what happens and don't even try to figure it out either. The writers do a great job surprising us.

Bradam Reacts

You're absolutely right. It all hit him like a truck after he spoke to Simon! All he could do to manage the panic and anxiety was to drown it out with sleep- my poor boy is going THROUGH it.

Bradam Reacts

A lot closer than you'd think actually ;) ❤️

Bradam Reacts

Our guts told us exactly what would happen, but did we listen? hahaha!!

AMARA

They're such good actors I feel their anxiety every time I watch them. I can't wait for episode 6, I cried when I watched it the first time.

Jayne Riley

Edvin and Omar's chemistry is unmatched. They cast the perfect two people. You should see the interviews and behind the scenes they are very close and comfortable with each other.

Pam R

Wille has all these self-soothing techniques that he probably started doing as a young child. It breaks my heart that he is so touch starved-love starved. Simon has to do what's right for himself. It's just sad that Wille is stopped at every turn when he tries to do right by himself. I'm not blaming that on Simon, he's sixteen. I firmly blame Wille's parents. You nailed it. Felice needs a metal for her being on Wille patrol so much. I adore the character but because of his life and how he was raised, he is one of the most self-involved characters out there but also not. I think Sara called it when they were talking about the book with how Malin is projecting all these things on Siv, making her the end all be all. That's what Wille is doing, I think. At the beginning he had an cute crush. But then Erik died and Wille was spinning, he latched onto Simon. Simon came into his life almost the same time Erik left it. Two people that care for him and aren't afraid to show it. It was a easy thing to happen.

D Cantu

YES!!! 😃💜

Peaches

Love love love your reactions, also love how quick you are in posting, I really appreciate the time you put into these. In terms of what I think about the whole situation (just adding my two cents even though no one asked lol) - I think that video being leaked was so violating for Simon and only he felt the true consequences of that, only his face was shown. Yes, Wille has had to deal with the fallout of the video in his own way but I don't think it compares to the whole world seeing your face in a sex tape, having paparazzi harass you about it and then the crown prince go on TV and deny you. I think Simon was really alone in that specific pain. So Wille keeping the fact that he knew who did it secret and then afterwards telling him not to go to the cops coz August is his backup didn't feel fair at all. I love Wille but I do think Simon was right when he compared Wille to his mother because a lot of what he does mirrors what she does. I think also, it always seems to me that Simon has less agency in all the drama. He didn't choose to be the face of that video but Wille did choose to deny the video and leave Simon alone in it. Simon didn't even know that August leaked that video and Simon chose to keep that from him and 'take matters into his own hands'. It just always feels like Wille has more power and control. I'm sure the writers were alluding to something about hierarchies with that. Anyway, that's my two cents lol.

What i love about there chemistry is that it's unmatched by many of the couples I've seen lately although heartstoppers is great there chemistry seems awkward but the young royals seems more natural

lisa mcarthur

i love your reaction and u going to love the final episode for this season and u are going to love the final season its a rollercoster its up and down but they both meant to be together matter what and i cant waite to see your final reaction on this final episode of this season and i hope we dont have to waite to long

Enthrall-2024

Thank you so much for your quick releases of your reactions. I have to admit the last scene of this episode stays with me. Omar was chosen for the role based upon a chemistry read. Their chemistry is off the charts. (I witnessed it again in London last week. I was one lucky American.) You will note that the episodes are complex. The writers had to tell this story in only six episodes per season. That adds to the roller coaster aspect.

Eliot

Don't keep us waaaaiiiiitinnnnng

Olive

Yess, the boys are back and I couldn't be more ready~

Pam R

As for the chemistry it is so good between them. Watching Omar audition with Edvin was so good. I usually can't watch things like that because it feels so awkward but it wasn't watching it.

jazz

every time i rewatch this damn show i'm so surprised by how much they pack into every episode!! i love hearing your theories about what's coming

I agree. As much as I love Heartstopper, and I do, Edvin and Omar's chemistry is unmatched in anything else I've ever seen. Omar's performance is incredible, especially since it's his first professional acting role. But Edvin's performance is absolutely breathtaking to me. He completely inhabits the character of Wilhelm. And the way he portrays emotions is so so real to me.

scottyG

I agreee completely. Simon confirming that he is reporting August to the police made Wille realize that his only way out of the pressure of the royal family and the throne, a possibility that he only just learned about, was yanked out from under him. The scene with the tailor was really telling to me as well. The tie symbolized the throne and the royal court which he feels completely suffocated by.

Bradam Reacts

Some of our theories i can only HOPE that we’re right… other guesses… better be wrong lolll

scottyG

I am loving all of your reactions to this entire series. But I CAN NOT WAIT to see your reaction to the next episode. It's one of the very best episodes of the show.

Bradam Reacts

AHHHH I can’t believe you got to see it for yourself!!!!!! How cool, the chemistry is literally palpable.

Bradam Reacts

Wow GREAT points. The part about how hurt Simon must’ve been to be the ONLY person facing any backlash and questioning. Especially when Wille didn’t speak up- which isn’t necessarily his fault, but it makes sense that Simon probably felt that decision reeeeaallly deeply.

Frances

I swear I thought the exact same thing when they were talking about the book. THAT BETTER NOT BE FORESHADOWING!!! 😱

Bradam Reacts

We happened to stumble on an interview between the two of them the other night (our algorithms on social media are working overtime) and we fell into a rabbit hole of them, it’s so cool seeing them be together outside of their characters.

Steven Jump

If you think about season one , August has his own "dirt" to use against Simon.

Karoliina

They kiss and touch for real. In so many gay movies/shows the kissing is so fake. Nobody kisses like that, just rubbing their faces against each other with closed lips. And it's always so agressive and straight-to-the-point. I refuse to believe that is the correct portrayal of gay men intimacy. Wille and Simon are breathing each other, kissing for real (you can see tongue and spit), caressing each other gently. I want to believe that this represents intimacy in gay relationships more accurately.

Karoliina

I cry every single time, bawling. Which is going to be round 15 when Bradam posts it.

Michael

@36:12 would have been a brilliant thumbnail. 🤣

Ludy

Poor Wille is starved for affection. His parents are never affectionate. It seems like royal children feel like transactions and not FAMILY and it kills me. Simon is the first person other than Erik who just sees Wille for who he is and not WHAT he is. Should a 16 yr old kid make life decisions based in a romance? Probably not. But Simon gives him the courage to accept who he is and that being king ain't it.

sobelou

Loved seeing the full reaction! Get ready for the ride!

Ludy

I can't believe you got to see that. I wouldn't have survived it, I fear. I love how much they genuinely care about each other.

MuggleMeTrue

I just want to say that Marcus IS NOT a good person. I will die on that hill. He’s the quintessential “nice” guy. He knows Simon doesn’t like him AND he doesn’t care. What Simon did was wrong and I don’t agree with it, but Marcus gives me the ick.
