When it's a king his wife is a queen. But yes Queen who is the monarch can't have a king because king would look like he was more powerful than her which isn't true. You can pick what you're called. Queen Elizabeth's husband was Prince Phillip. I'll comment more after I finish.

Becca

a WILD season finale!! Edvin's acting is just.. spectacular. Adam, I love that you are always so locked in with everything that's happening - especially about Wilhelm's parents being SO emotionally absent from his life & Bradley, your reactions absolutely killl me hahaha. super excited for you to watch S3, it's my favourite. the natural chemistry between Omar & Edvin somehow levels up even further, they're a joy to watch. p.s. that colour looks incredible on both of you 🫶

Enthrall-2024

You may now begin to understand the fervent fandom. Young Royals Forever! Be glad you won’t have to wait a year for season three. Thank you for your reactions.

Pam R

"I'm so glad no one overreacted." LOL.

Dennis Verner

I preach about this so often but, the writing. August says in Season 1 Episode 1, "We could kill someone and no one would say anything,,," Here in Season 2 Episode 6, with a gun to August's chest, Wille says, "The Royal Family is good at covering up accidents, right August?" Chord resolved.

Dennis Verner

Oh, and everyone says, "He didn't say it back...!" Wille said I love you to Simon right at the end of Season 1.

Karoliina

So good again! Edvin is just spectacular! The gun scene, I don't think Edvin even knows where he is, he is so inside of Wille's head. I cannot understand that he was 19 at the time. He is one of the best actors of his entire generation. He can do minimal, subtle microexpression AND he can totally overreact and be super aggressive. His gun handling was also on point. The film that he did after S2 is not released yet, but he plays a soldier in Bosnia war. Probably was already training how to handle weapons.

Dennis Verner

Excellent reaction guys! ❤️ ❤️

Karoliina

About the ending. I love how it perfectly demonstrates that love and relationships must have compromise to succeed. Simon was willing to stay secret and closeted, but that choice and Simon's first "I love you" made Wille so confident and happy, that he also compromised and chose Simon over the Royals. And him outing them both in national television ( although it probably got cut) was him reaching out back to Simon. He knew Simon wanted to be public, so he gave him that and went full on. I love it!!!!

Karoliina

About the I love you. Go back and watch it again. When Simon says it, Wille's face is heartbraking. Again, Edvin totally totally remarkable. The way his face changes and how his eyes open to almost like confirm that it's not a dream, it's reality, Simon LOVES ME. And then the sigh of relief. SO BEAUTIFUL. That scene is one my favorites. The chemistry, the tension, nothing big happening but still the most important moment of the entire season. And of course Jan-Olof totally fed up with that gay shit 🤣🤣🤣

Karoliina

S3 E1 is one of my personal favorites in the entire show. No spoilers, but it's very touching and emotional but also rewarding to watch. The first scenes in the same place where it starts (trying to be vague now to not spoil anything), so so funny and beautiful and happy and hot. 🔥

Karoliina

And now the obvious question. When will you start S3? And would you consider doing this some time LIVE? Letting us watch you reacting LIVE.

Pam R

One part that really hurt and I'm glad you pointed it out. This is the first time we heard anyone say I love you to Wilhelm. Linda tells her kids she loves them all the time. Erik seemed to be the one to give Wilhelm affection, from the first episode, and when they talked up to seeing the memory of getting the snowglobe and seeing the pictures where it wasn't a staged one looking. The one where they are hugging that was on Erik's mirror.

Peaches

Ahhh, watching that with you guys felt like I was watching it again for the first time. Some clarifications, August does know that the Royal Court knows it was him. If you remember when he went to meet the Queen, she mentioned that he had betrayed the family. Also, now they know that Sarah knew that August leaked the video a long time ago, coz in that scene at the shooting range they mentioned that she knew last winter. Finally, Wille said 'I love you' to Simon first at the end of last season. So now it came full circle with Simon saying it back. Loved your reaction! The way you both leaned forward when it seemed like Sarah was about to out her friend 😂😂😂 I love how complex all of these characters are. Because August is really so terrible in so much of what he does, but I think he really loves Sarah. So reconciling his love for Sarah with the fact that he's an utterly selfish person is always so hard.

Karoliina

Season 3 Edvin and Omar said they no longer needed intimacy cordinator. A little bit of choreography yes, but then they just went and "did it" all. And it shows. They are even more comfortable and natural than in S1 and S2, which already were super natural.

Olive

Oh, this might be my favorite one from you guys yet. Your reactions were so great, it made me feel like I was watching the insanity for the first time again. I really think you'll like season 3, it's the best one in my opinion. I can't wait to re-watch it with you guys~

Michael

Let's be honest here ...... this episode was one big 'CLUSTER XXXX' and I LOVED your reactions to this.

lisa mcarthur

i love your reaction and iam glad u likeing this series this season was rollercoster and i cant waite to watch the final season with u guys and u going to love it and i hope we dont have to waite to long for it and i hope when u finish the final season i hope u do reaction on doc of young royals forever u will in joy that its good there a lot of fans who watch the doc young royals forever and they love it and i think u will love it too

leen

This finale for S2 was everything !! Lit same when he went off speech and reveal the truth to the world, now taking control of his own decisions !! Glad y'all are loving it !!💗 about the I love you, Wille was actually the first one who said it at the end of season 1 when they departed ways. this is Simon's first time saying it back to Wilhelm that he loves him too also, August already knows that the Royal family is aware that he was the one who leaked the video, if you remember when the queen called him in, she told him they knew but also was when she revealed that he'll be Wilhelm backup plan. That's why when he heard about Simon going to report him, he tries to go to Olaf to let him know but was dismissed to figure it out on his own As with sarah, at the shooting range when Wilhelm confronted August and she revealed that it was her who told him, she said "last winter", which told all of them that she has known since the beginning from when the video was leaked, so now they know that she knew, but on top of that, that she has known since literally before any of them I can't wait for y'all to get into season 3 !! sadly it's the final season and we won't get more but I can't wait for y'all to see it !! Hopefully soon !!🫶

LM-Entertainment Australia

LOVED your reaction as always guys! :) i literally wait for a notification that you've posted a new one and my excitement revolves around it haha. im in australia, so most the time the vids are posted really early in the morning - but always enjoy seeing you react to this great series. it was such an awesome season finale - the shooting range scene is arguably one of the most tense scenes in the whole series as far as pure drama goes. i think most people held their breath when they watched it the first time - because it's just such a crazy, unexpected action from wille. it also shows how much he really cares about simon and wanted to get answers for him. as others have said - most monarchies have some sort of similar structure - but what you said is correct. the queen inherited the crown from her father, so she is the monarch and her husband is the duke. the same happened in the UK royal family - queen elizabeth IIs husband prince phillip was also referred to as the duke. as is now the case in the UK - prince charles became king charles and he chose to have his wife titled as "queen camilla" but that was a "consort" after it. the consort meaning she has no actual power, but is the wife of the king. usually, in the UK the "consort" title is only given to females. the UK also doesnt have a "crown prince" as such - they are all just princes - but one is the obvious successor/heir. sweden i believe just before or after young royals aired the first season, it gained a lot of media attention and the royal family brought out a statement saying that an heir being gay would not hold them back from ascending to the throne (which is excellent in my opinion). the nordic / scandi countries are always at the forefront of being progressive. can't wait to see you guys react to season 3!! also, please be sure to react to "young royals forever" afterwards - which is a special going behind the scenes of the shooting of season 3 and showing the atmosphere on set and with the cast and crew.

Chelsea

This is one of the best episodes! Just the way the secrets just explode one after the other like bombs dropping, oh my gosh, so good! Such a fun time watching with you guys!

Steven Jump

I REALLY don't like how this series ends( season 3). I won't say anymore don't want to spoil it. As for the 2nd season, it's the best one for me. I completely love the shooting range scene! Willie had enough of August's crap. However, August, Willie and Simon all have done bad things. Stealing and selling drugs, framing someone for it and leaking a sex tape. Loving your reactions to this series and look forward to season 3's vids.

AngelaTeacher

Can we all agree that Lisa can write a banger finale?! I think I held my breath through this entire episode. Set a record for screaming at my TV. One thing I love most about this show, outside the incredible acting, writing, and cinematography, is that it is never ever predictable! Loved your reaction 😁

scottyG

That faintest hint of a smile on Wille's face as he looks into the camera at the end is everything. The right side of his mouth (left on camera) just barely barely curls up into the slightest smirk. Edvin's acting is so breathtaking to me. I really love how this show uses repetition and bringing back scenes, lines, symbolism, etc. to carry themes forward, like Wille looking into the camera at the very beginning and very end of each season; Wille saying I love you at the end of season one and Simon saying it at the end of season 2; the red lighting in season one when Wille is texting Simon about missing rowing practice and making up his mind to go after Simon, and the little rocket lamp changing to red as Simon is going to sleep after he discusses with Ayub about making the decision to be with Wille and keep it a secret. The writing is just so so good. Look out for more of these parallels in season 3.

scottyG

I love this insight. I always noticed how starved for affection and especially touch Wille was. But this was the first time I put together that no one ever said "I love you" to Wille in the entire show up to this point. I'm guessing that no one had said those words to Wille since he was a little boy.

Frances

The only thing I will give August is that he didn’t say that it was Sara who told him about the police thing. Even though he had a freaking gun pointed to his head…. So the feelings are genuine! Which obviously doesn’t excuse anything….

Frances

Simon‘s „I love you“ made me sob 😭 Especially since Wille said it to him at the end of season 1 without getting a response from Simon! Perfect full circle moment 🥹

Frances

After this huge cliffhanger, imagine having to wait freaking one and a half years for the third season. It was torture 😭

Marstrand

Loved the reaction 😍. It’s a joy listening to you guys react to this how 🫶🏻. I don’t know if you heard what Simon said after he said ”I want to be with you” (standing in the hallway with Wille) he followed up with, ”if it has to be a secret, let it be. If there is no other way. I think Wilhelm though after Simon said so that he didn’t really want to be Wilhelms secret but agreed to. So after getting the confirmation that Simon loves him, Wilhelm went public with their relationship to show his love back. There isn’t anything Wilhelm wouldn’t do for Simon💜💙. Smart choice? Well let’s see in the next season.

chou

Personally I love how this series ends literally 10/10 couldn’t ask for a better ending. but I have to say season 2 is my favorite season for the drama of it all 💕 thanks for the reaction glad you loved the season finale as much as I do!

Dennis Verner

It's probably not true but I am so in love with the production values of this show: in the scene of the conversation between Simon and Ayub before going to sleep. As Simon turns out the light the lava lamp by his bed, which is clear, turns bright red (Wille's ambient color.) I like to think this symbolizes Simon deciding to agree to Wille's request for them to be together as a secret. Probably just a coincidence but I like the image. I would love to know.

Karoliina

I don't think there's anything coincidental in YR.

Joy2464

Sara doesn't know about the plan for Alexander to take the blame or that Simon provided the drugs. So she doesn't know reporting it to the police can hurt Simon. Also, one of my favorite stills from the whole series is the psychologist smirking and biting his nail when Wille goes off-script and says back what he learned in therapy.

AngelaTeacher

Ah yes, the legendary Boris smirk! Love that man. He was practically popping the popcorn!

Bradam Reacts

The psychologist sitting there giggling and kicking his feet was TOO funny LOLL.

Bradam Reacts

The DRAMA in this season was unreal- the finale alone was killing us. Loved every second.

Bradam Reacts

We'll just have to find out how this will affect everything 😭 I'm so excited for our boys.

Bradam Reacts

An AWFUL thing to sit and wait on so patiently. 😭

Bradam Reacts

Well this is actually a really good point. August could've told them it was Sara but he didn't. We know August believes he's loyal, (we know that he's mainly just loyal to protect himself) but it was nice to see in action.

Bradam Reacts

Oh wow. The parallels with the colors!!! This makes a lot of sense. Now we just need them to say I love you to each other IN PERSON uninterrupted 😭

Bradam Reacts

Wille was ready to shut. things. down. He was so over it, we loved every second of the shooting range scene. We're excited to see how everyone's actions will play out in the third season...

Bradam Reacts

This was an explosion of an episode. Just moment after moment was in your face, and intense. Such a good culminating episode.

Bradam Reacts

The shooting range had us losing our minds. It was such a good way to climax the episode. AND IT DIDNT END. The episode just kept taking us to new places and we loved every second. The information on the monarchies is really interesting- it makes a lot of sense to not have a Queen's husband titled "King", just in a name/power dynamic sense. We love our nordic/scandinavian neighbors for always pushing for good, they've always been first to things of that nature.

Bradam Reacts

We didn't even realize that Sara outed her timeline!!!! We remember that line but didn't realize what it so clearly implies. Ugh! So good!!! There won't be too much waiting before S3 ;)

Bradam Reacts

And we can't wait for the journey S3 is going to take us on! Ahhh! 😆

Bradam Reacts

Well thank you for that wonderful compliment. We agree that we might not fit in at Hillerska but we do love those uniforms lol

chou

which is also why some stuff that happens in s3 (no spoilers) hits even harder

c-r-w-13

Simon's "I love you" in this episode closes the loop on the "I'm sorry. I love you" that Wilhelm says to Simon at the close of season 1, after he has denied it's him in the video. I think Simon's commitment of what Wilhelm means to him, his voicing of trust in Wilhelm and a desire to try to be together amid all the other drama and chaos (drugs, video, August, line of succession, Sara's betrayal) – even if it has to be a secret (which also suggests that Simon too is understanding better the complex pressures and restrictions of Wilhelm's position) – is what imbues Wilhelm with enough courage to claim some truth for himself by going off-script. You're right that he doesn't really come out, because that's not really what Young Royals is about; it's more that he is claiming agency in his own life, for who he is, and what he cares about and wants (in this case, it's Simon, which of course means that Wille is queer, but I don't think Wilhelm or the show is every particularly interested in defining his identity per se).

Charlotte

Your dramatic pause at the end of the episode pretty much summed up everything😅 at a loss for words
