We're reacting to the second season of the highly anticipated SKAM! Bradam is excitedly taking on the original series that started it all. After many requests to watch this show following our "Young Royals" journey, we're headed to Oslo for the drama. This season, we focus on Noora Sætre, her flatmates, and the relationships shaping her year.

Watch as this group of Norwegian teens tackle identity, feminism, homosexuality, mental illness, religion, bullying, friendship, romance and the like, all while navigating their high school experience.

every girl in scandinavia wanted to be her when this aired like i remember ppl getting her haircut, copying her style and trying to find the exact shade of her iconic red lipstick😭 she was just that girl!!

I didn’t find William that attractive when watching the show and I cringed as much as you did at the haircut and the scenes that were meant to be ”cool”, but he sure handled things well at the end of that episode and that’s when I started feeling like I might like him after all! 😄

What i noticed while watching SKAM is that it feels like each character acts the way the main protagonist sees them. That is why it feels like some of the character acts different from season 1 because they are seen out of Noras perspective this season while in season 1 they were seen out of Evas perspective..maybe that is just me but still...

Ep. 3 is also where William started to get to me. 🫡 😅 And I know that William comes across as manipulative but I don’t feel like he truly is? Or at least not to the extent it initially feels like he is?? Noora has autonomy and we’ve seen her stand up to people (and William!) before. If she truly didn’t want to spend time with him, she wouldn’t. She dressed him down when he was awful to Vilde, she could have done the same over the date. And although Noora has good intentions, she’s not so squeaky clean either.

Yes @Lucy! Everything he says, his parents didn't love him enough as a child, they didn't hang my art on the refrigerator, etc, is everything SHE said to HIM when she confronted his comment to Vilde. That is endearing. That he remembered it word for word, and it stuck with him. Also, I love it when Noora is grabbing for the phone and he parrots back everything about respecting the pillow boundary and staying on her side of the bed. And then she says "Goodnight Wilhelm". Love it.

I think he is manipulative but not evil. Sometimes people are manipulative as a self defense mechanism without even knowing it.

Interesting!! Like the way Eva has acted this season (for the most part) is kinda really different than how I feel like we knew her to be in Season 1. I think it'd be really interesting to assume that the narrator is unreliable 😆 I love when stories are told that way

i dont think anyone else has mentioned it here but sometimes i come with trivia and this episode's trivia is that the person singing the song when noora shows up to the party is tarjei, who plays isak. lol.

This is so true. And when she does shut him fully down, he backs off. Like, after the date when she tells him that she doesn't owe him anything anymore, he acknowledges that she doesn't, and then he back off. Like, she finds out about this party through Eva and Vilde, not through him, for example. But she's the one who goes to the party and seeks him out. Yes, he was mean to Vilde, and yes, the way he used Vilde to get to Noora was bad, but other than that, I don't think he's as bad as people like to argue. It's quite clear to me that Noora is intrigued by him.
