Still early in the reaction, please do come to Norway. I'm from Bodø in Nordland county (Northern Norway), with a mother from the iconic Lofoten, and a father from the WW2-scarred Narvik, and I live in Bergen on the west coast. Oslo's lovely, it's mostly where Skam happens, but do go outside of it if you want to see what we have to offer.

i love the noora and vilde scene in the kitchen so much☹️ so important to me

BTW, in Norway Easter is kinda like Halloween, there's a tradition where you read "Easter Crime" books or watch especially British murder TV, for some reason. Also, as a northerner, I love how Kasper has a northern dialect.

Bradam Reacts

it was easily a standout scene in this episode, even the season so far honestly. very important conversation that left a positive impact. 🥺

The idea of Sana being so committed to the prank that she begins and ends a scene just staring out the window cracks me up every time. I love this episode.

Vilde's obsession with William needs to be studied.

Olha77

I love like Julie - the director, named this boy Kasper- like a little ghost Casper.

Olha77

And a little reminder- William is at his last year in high school, so he turns 19 years old this year. And Noora at her 1. year- so she turns 17 this year.

What would’ve been really spooky is if the cabin 👻spirits asked Eva who was the first female Prime Minister of Norway 🇳🇴?

Love that you guys caught the Trivial Pursuit callback to S1 hahaha I just know Eva was having war flashbacks 😭 Sure it may be something of a filler episode, but I actually think this full circle moment is pretty meaningful for Eva's character arc. From having no friends and lying to her mom about staying with Ingrid and Sara, being stuck in a cabin with her lying ass pothead boyfriend, his scheming twink of a best friend and their homophobic drug dealer to having a fun cabin trip with her slightly unhinged but lovable girl squad… it's quite the upgrade 🙂‍↕️ And of course loved the moment of understanding between Noora and Vilde. Ugh, you just have to love Noora. Can't blame William for trying… I actually went on a trip to Norway when I was around the girls' age (a decade ago wtf ok grandma) and stayed in a friends' cabin in Trøndelag and it is such a vibe. Highly recommend renting a cabin to anyone visiting Norway! It's like a quintessential Norwegian experience because everybody and their mom knows somebody with a cabin over there, lol.

HAHAHAHA good one 😭😭

Vilde's 'gluten allergy' excuse in this episode reminds me of one of those mean F & G girls in Overcompensating (set in 2015) saying that being lactose intolerant was just an excuse you used when you had an ED in high school, and they didn't believe Carmen. The commonality and normality of teenage EDs in teen shows of this time period is so stark. Skins UK had a big arc about it too. Though all of them were about girls with EDs, only recently media (Charlie in Heartstopper and August in Young Royals), shows how prevalent it is in boys too. I hate that it's just become part of the experience of being a teenager in society and not a symptom of an illness thay has to be addressed like any other illness.

Becca

looove the girlgroup. highlight of this season fr fr. ALSO BRADLEY - loveee the new haircut. so cute!!

Frida BØ

I completely erased this ep from my mind… when they showed Kasper in that window my body took a screenshot

Sophie Sjösten

This is my least favourite episode of the show, but I get why some people like it. 😅

EniOslo

And many go to their cabin( or rent one) during Easter. So this ep. Is really true to the tradition. 😊

Mark Edwards

I can’t take much more of Vilde’s pathetic obsession with William. One of her friends needs to share those six magic words, “He’s just not that into you.” Did none of them watch SATC? Jeez. Paging Eskild, we need a gay.

sirius

I had forgotten about this episode, it's not importanr for the plot and nothing major really happens, it almost feels like it's not even part of the series😂 But I guess that's because it's a special! It's definetely not in my favourite episodes but it's a fun episode nonetheless!💗

sirius

I do love the fact that Vilde's ED is properly addressed for the first time here!

sirius

Omg, this comment just brought back memories! I had a friend when we were like 14 or 15, and I remeber how she told the school she had a gluten allergy when she really didn't and when I asked why she said something about gluten being unhealthy. I didn't fully realize it back then but she probably had ED. I remeber how her family was really super strict about food, they always had all the "healthy" versions of foods, they had many restrictions like for some reason pasta was bad in their family? and her parents got mad if she ate any sweets so she bought them in secret and she bought a lot of them and then she would feel guilty for eating so much sweets.. My heart breaks for her, I haven't talked to her in years, I wonder where she is now so :')

sirius

The part about wanting Noora is so real😭 I used to have a huge crush on her and you can hate William all you want but him wanting Noora is so valid, she is too amazing😭💗

sirius

I have the same feelings about Ouija boards. Don't really believe in them but not gonna f with that shit😭😂

Maria

Always loved this weird little episode😄 And btw Vilde was the one to say the episode title, after the ouija board said Sana was psychic

Joy2464

@Patrick - That, is hillarious.

benita lin

REAL I just know she was a lot of girls' gay awakening back in the day 😭 She would've been my final straw too if I hadn't had it already HAHAHA

Bradam Reacts

Like i just don't know why I'd put myself in any position to even MAYBE let a spirit in?????? idk just not for me 😭

Bradam Reacts

i'm worried this just re-triggered my satc obsession...

M

I love Noora with my whole damn heart. The way she handles the food issue with Vilde is so, so well done – firm, but sensitive. Also, I love how this episode confuses every single person from outside of Norway/Scandinavia, haha. Our Easter crime tradition makes no sense, but I love it.

Lin

ooo never thought about how it was that for Eva, that's beautiful! :,) also i love how you described it lol
