We're so back with this new installment of the adopted Vampire Chronicles! 'The Vampire Lestat' is here to melt our faces off with 7 episodes of rock n' roll, sex, drugs and most importantly... our husband is back on our screen. Front and center stage. 🤘🏻

Following the events of the previously reacted to 'Interview with the Vampire' (2022), 'The Vampire Lestat' takes place in 2025 after the interview between Louis De Pointe Du Lac and newfound vampire Daniel Malloy is published and flies off the shelves. Now with vampires exposed (whether they're believed or not), Lestat's rock n' roll world tour is being followed by a documentary crew, and we will witness the greatness that is, the Vampire Lestat.

Boas, leather pants, blood, nudity, music, fights and NEXT-LEVEL DRAMA to be expected. Plus our husbands will finally be reunited. And we're here for it all. 🎸

from what we’ve seen, armand doesn’t want the great conversion to happen! gabriella/sofia is one of the main characters who wants it to happen, which is why she convinced lestat to “lead” it essentially, which is why he’s now only making music for vampires. armand asked lestat not to do the concert last episode (the concert we can assume ended up being a big event for the great conversion, according to lestat’s narration). my assumption is he kills larry to prevent the concert from happening, fracture the band up, or just to get to lestat and try and scare him into not doing it.

See, that's textual, but I just don't buy that that's Armand's motivation. The more Armand repeats something, the less I believe it's the truth and more I think it's what he wants me to think is the truth (and I love his character for that tbh)

Marius is Armand's maker. Armand is 500 years old and he is against the great conversion. He is also a slave to the old archaic great laws. His apology tour is not sincere at all as you'll notice he infiltrated Alex's AA meeting and sent him back to be rejoin Lestat's band and Alex immediately fell off the wagon. Alex also used the exact same language as Armand about the goalie and rest.

Marius de Romanus is Armand's maker yes, same guy that we saw as the Keeper who fucked off and left Lestat in charge of Akasha. We also learned in 2x04 that Marius was a painter who a) bought Armand/Amadeo/Arun from a brothel, b) occasionally "donated" him to his painter friends (eugh), c) made Armand a vampire, and d) was set on fire and died (apparently not). We also learned in 2x08 in Magnus' tower when Louis was rubbing staying with Armand in Lestat's face since he couldn't kill him because Lestat has the blood of Akasha, that Armand *does not know who Akasha is*...despite his maker Marius being her Keeper. Very interesting

Armand is against the great conversion. He killed Larry to try and disrupt the band. He has his hooks into Alex and it was telling that Alex has said the exact same line to Larry about him being a total shredder and to rest.

I need y'all to watch ep. 6 IMMEDIATELY you will be blown away! It is literally the BEST episode in all 3 seasons imo. ( seriously though, be so careful for ep 6 and 7 spoilers, the ep 7 finale also leaked early 🫠) Armand is repeatedly referred to as a gremlin for a good reason 🤣 Such a mess. His intentions are unclear, but he definitely told Daniel he does NOT want the Great Conversion, and that Lestat will lead it and get them all killed in an earlier ep. this time he told Daniel off for helping Lestat's tour and tells him he wants to help Daniel "finish it" 👀but we can never tell what he actually wants. That rotten boy. 😂 Somebody kick Sofia/ Gabriella off a cliff, quit hurting our baby and go awaaaaay 😫 That song, y'all 😭 Claudia was wearing her S1 Christmas outfit from when they played piano together 😭

It's Conversion. But you are by no means the only ones who keep calling it both. Also, ask yourself: who will Alex blame for his big brother's suicide? Maybe the vocalist who spent the last few weeks demeaning Larry? So maybe Armand is trying to turn Alex against Lestat?

I don’t think I’ve seen anyone else mention it so I just wanted to point out that when Lestat typically hallucinates Louis, he usually pictures him as how he looked from the day he turned him, I think in some scenes he did already have his vampire eyes but in this episode (and others?) he had his human eyes.
