Bradam sits down and watches the long-awaited and highly anticipated "Heartstopper Forever" Finale. A feature length film that wraps up your favorite character's Nick and Charlie and friends stories.

An ending to the story that brought us all together in the first place. Bradam Reacts is built solely because of this show, it's stories, it's representation, it's softness and it's charm. The first ever show we reacted to, two years later finally allowing it's characters to fully form, and see to the rest of their lives. 💕

Heartstopper Forever follows Nick (Kit Connor) and Charlie (Joe Locke) as they end their high school years with their friends. As relationships ebb and flow and characters change and grow, the movie teaches teens and young-adults that all relationships are unique, that friendship is one of our greatest gifts, that communication is key and that being authentic and true to yourself is everything. Watch as our characters deal with mental health, gender, sexuality, communication, healing and above all else love. ❤️

We adore this series. We love this cast and crew. Thank you to Alice Oseman for your creation and to the fans for allowing them to finish their vision for the series. We're so sad to watch it end, but couldn't be happier with the journey this lovely story has taken each and every one of us on. 🫂

This show taught Bradley and Adam how important representation is, and that's now the backbone of our channel. It's so important to be able to see yourself in media. The shows we may watch might not always focus intently on queer characters or stories, but we will always do our best to highlight the ones that do it right and do it with love. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

We hope you enjoyed our reaction and hope you see the love and the care that we have for everyone involved, even the characters. 😉

WE LOVE YOU GUYS! AND HEARTSTOPPER FOREVER! 🥹✌🏻

Did you guys make leaves, please I cannot handle how sweet that is 🥹🍂💙🧡

Jared Horton

Wow they did the whole bit with the leaves decor, love you guys!!!

Mike

The guy in the first coffee shop scene is Patrick Walters, one of the producers. The cast called Alice and him "Mom and Dad" Edit to answer a few questions: The party at the end is called a Leaver's Ball. Charlie, Tao, and Isaac are all in the same grade. Tao probably went to Berlin on a long weekend. Also, I wanted to point out Alice's cameo on the train. It didn't look like you guys noticed. Thanks for all the reactions over the years. Always fun watching with you, even if there are times I want to scream about the pause button. Looking forward to Heated Rivalry season 2.

Geo

I almost missed it in the scene with the older couple: They inadvertently got Charlie to eat.

There is so many words I could say so for right now it'll be just one comment but I might come back to share my thoughts in a second comment so look out of that but all I will say is that I cried 27 times on release but this was a beautiful way to finish their story!! Edit: Okay, I'm back. I'm going to share as many opinions as I can, so try to stay with me on all of this. Firstly, I do gotta say I'm really proud of everyone who worked incredibly hard on this I know probably was not easy because trying hold back all the tears while filming was probably challenging but it was also a journey. This is how a beautiful adaptation should have been treated, if you would have told Alice Oseman, the second Solitaire came out and had no idea whether or not to start Heartstopper, I'm sure past Alice would be having a real pinch me moment. Now onto the actual review itself/more thoughts. I have been saying for the last couple times but I want to share it on here too so everyone probably has different opinions about the Nick and Charlie breakup I would like to firstly say that Alice Oseman confirmed that what happened in their novella is in an alternate reality but in my opinion obviously, I can say that did this break up needed ever happen? Yes but do not yelling me let me explain, So we all knew from watching the movie and their novella, The breakup scene was going to be hard now in a perspective you have to understand that although this was hard it was something that needed to happen because if not we would have seen this when they were in uni now I can't speak on behalf of anyone, but I can share my opinion this story of Nick and Charlie start to finish with something that was going to be interesting, we have to understand there is up and downs between any kind of relationship and that is fine but for those who have an a strong opinion believe in that Nick and Charlie shouldn't have broken up. It doesn't make sense if they did not break up the reason I say that they should have broken up, is a way of explaining that they had to grow not only as individuals but as each other. Obviously in their novella, it is 2 weeks but in a way those two weeks really explained a lot I won't spoil it for those who haven't read their novella but I will leave you with this it was a beautiful piece of work that Alice put out that showcase everything that we needed to hear and if this movie taught us anything is that they will always forever endgame, I know I can't speak on behalf of every couple out there but for Nick and Charlie it's the impossible it's the believing it's just everything that comes that makes them whole you can look at one couple and believe every story that they tell, Nick and Charlie's especially for this movie a lot of things were held and a lot of things I can relate to. It's not only just the perspectives of the Nick and Charlie but it's also the perspective of others like sure I can understand Charlie's headspace and I can understand Nick's but I can also respect the others. If you want to talk what was important about the pier it's representation of showcasing that Nick will possibly feel loss but I can understand him from that perspect because when you are hard to explain emotions you know some things that kind of keep you grounded, and from Charlie's perspective especially with anxiety with that five step method which I do use myself but also from the series standpoint where Charlie struggles and he admits that he could feel like he's a burden and some other stuff which I am like that as well but what makes me understand this. It's how everyone comes together in the end especially in the Nick and Charlie because it's not just one door closing it's another one that's open one that we are open up and what we think of the endless possibility for what's next for Nick and Charlie and if you ask me that is better than anything in this world especially for this ending chapter of this well-deserved franchise in itself and to this beautiful cast who was there since day one who never gave up and to this beautiful Crew and also Alice Oseman for giving us this universe. Now for Tao and Elle, if you ask me on a level if I saw them getting back together again, I would say it's a possibility maybe not let on a life but maybe invade late 20s to 30's maybe. What taught me about their breakup, it's that now that confidence that we saw in season 3 it would help both of them especially Elle, because it's the perspective that they had that trust together but now they can trust someone else possibly someone new who comes in their life, and I am aware that both of them can be hesitant with that moment of trusting someone new but it will showcase that even though they didn't work out as a couple they were always be truth is rely support, I mean we basically saw Tao going to Berlin for Elle, if you took that in a different perspective someone be saying oh he shouldn't have done that but the way he still cares about her really showcasing that he will always be that number one support. Especially seeing how from the very start from season 1, Tao was there for Elle, the second Elle came out as transgender, realising that the world can be scary but have an amazing friend group who was willing to listen but also having that reliable support is really amazing I think that's what grew them as a couple in a way because sometimes with friendships, it can also carry that meaning that if you trust them they can lead you in a better direction but I will finish this off by saying yes it did break my heart seeing then break up but I'm glad that friendship that endless support it always be there. I could go on and on to be real but I'm gonna finish this up but I will say this one, I'm surprised I didn't cry until the very end. But two, I hope all of us can still carry that meaning behind us forever that through Heartstopper it's not just about sex, it's the sexuality it's the health journeys it's the mental health ones as well it's every journey out there waiting to exist but if we can find comfort over again, like Heartstopper did for all of us, we simply just show that everything is possible now this is always going to have that impact for anyone whether that's also us ourselves or any young queer personal there who is struggling in more ways than one, we all have each other's back. Heartstopper will always remain that's safe place to land because although it deals with harsh reality topics that some of us are afraid to listen to. It's also that's simple factor that we have a voice now we are not alone we are forever here standing proud being ourselves just keep reminding yourself that if these characters taught us, it's that you can be proud to be comfortable in your skin to admit that you want help to know that you can mean ally or your true self or anyone in this world you do not have to be alone anymore let this beautiful franchise forever hold something against everyone's heart because take it from me, I'm really really grateful that this show and movie now has helped me feel seen feel forever loved and knowing that in any kind of event that happens in my head for these beautiful characters it will always be canon because simply I'm just truly grateful for every little piece of advice and hardship it really taught me so thank you let me know if you want to hear more opinions but other than that thank you both for posting your reaction you guys have wonderful opinions I really admire it. And thank you for being one of my top main reactions, you are doing a wonderful thing for everyone so truly from every part of my heart just thank you and I said thank you a lot but truly just know your opinions and thoughts never go on unnotice. And also thank you for being front forward of any perspective whether that's to make us laugh or cry that is totally fine too

EspeciallyJaNeeSims

The waist grab being for condomless sex made me laugh way too hard at 12AM! Lmaoo loved the reaction 💜💜💜

VV

Singing comment... both Joe and Kit do sing. Joe was in Sweeny Todd and killed his vocals! And Kit even played the young, pre-teen version of Elton John in Rocketman and he sang in it.

Bradam Reacts

omg!! i forgot about his run in sweeney todd!!! he WAS INCREDIBLE 🩵

Beck Huston

Loved your reaction to this. I keep watching this over and over again. The event at the end was Prom. Imogen and Sahar are saying that as they walk into the event. Love your leaves.

Em

was crying real bad and Adam going "get me so pregnant" took me out 😭

Frances

My face and reaction probably looked like Adam’s during that last sex scene!!! So good!!! ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

VV

Fun fact: the older couple in the coffee shop are real life husbands. 😊 And in the opening title card... when it rotated through all the different backgrounds with Heartstopper, those where the openings from all 3 seasons. 😭🤧

VV

The final event was senior prom... you guys missed when Imogen and Zahar were running saying they were going to be late for prom.

Isaac is writing his book in his last year at school with Charlie and Tao in the Epilogue. (Like Charlie's gone to see Nick in Leeds after school, Tao's done the same to go and see Elle). Alice Oseman wrote Solitaire, the book that first featured Nick and Charlie and Tori and her friends whilst Alice was in her last year of school. Just like Isaac. And it got published the following year. Full circle - Isaac kinda is Alice.

Dionne Lakey

The old gay couple are out gay actors in real life and been together for 47 years in real life. Sir Derek Jacobi is one of the first ever out gay actors in the industry, famous for his West End roles opposite Sir Ian McKellan, another famously out gay actor. Men like 87 year old Sir Derek are the reason out gay actors like 21 year old Joe Locke can exist. That scene they were in together is absolutely iconic and multilayered for characters and actors. Iconic for the potential longevity in the industry we can hope for the young actors of this film.

Lauren

Boys! You are missing the last book in your stack-Volume 6! It came out this month, so fix that! 😂 Alice always planned the ending this way when Nick goes to uni, and it came together so well. ❤️ but they ( nonbinary queen) have made some adorable doodles that are a peek into their future- Adam, you need to look them up on their Patreon 🥰

Laura

I love seeing this full circle moment for you two!! Your reaction to Heartstopper Season 3 is what made me start following your channel! ☺️ Sending you both so much love as we celebrate/cry over the close of this beautiful series! Also I would LOVE it if you all react to the Heartstopper Official Podcast videos and the Heartstopper: Ending on a Hi behind the scenes doc that are/will be on Netflix 🍂💜🏳️‍🌈

Lauren

Also, just to reference: Tao, Isaac, and Charlie are in the same grade. Elle, Tara, Darcy, Nick and Imogen were in the grade above. :) so glad the og 3 boys have each other still for their last year of school❤️

Bradam Reacts

it was maybe a little bradley art project before we began 💖

Bradam Reacts

Alice was on the train? Wow that went totally over our heads!! Good to always know how involved she is 💕

Bradam Reacts

he always knows how to snap me outta my feels 😭 LMAO

Bradam Reacts

we thought we should make it as special as we could 💗

Bradam Reacts

🥹 it was so nice to see him willingly take a bite after what he had been through. it was a really important moment to show that he could take care of himself, no matter what 😭 he's going to be okay I LOVE HIM

Bradam Reacts

thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts!! it means more to us than you could know. 💕 I do think it was important for the two of them to break up. It taught both of them the importance of each other and of their own individuality. It will only make them stronger as partners to have had this hard time apart. And I think it's a lesson for lots of young people to learn not to lose yourself in your relationships, and that just because you feel like a perfect couple, or people see you as the perfect couple, doesn't mean it's not okay to talk and have hard conversations. There's a part of me that thinks that Tao and Elle's story as romantic lovers has come to an end and the time that they shared together helped them both learn and grow into the people they needed to become. Dating someone can really shape a person, and I think their characters are important to show that it's okay if a relationship doesn't work out (even if it's just for the moment). They were able to still be friends, and hold a deep, special love for each other, even if no longer romantic.... now that all being said in my head they get married when Tao has a film festival in Berlin and stays and he and Elle reconnect 😭 that's my headcanon for them i love them 💗 HEARTSTOPPER FOREVER WE LOVE YOU!

Bradam Reacts

kits huge hands on joe's little waist.... mmfffhdbfhf 🫪 #NEEDTHAT

Bradam Reacts

oh god im gonna cry again 😭 old husbands AWWW and the title card fact is so cute, thank you for pointing that out!

Geo

Guncle Bradley cares deeply (assuming this is Bradley, but we know Guncle Adam cares as well).

Geo

There were a few times: "Hey! Do you mind? We are sobbing over here!"

Bradam Reacts

I actually recognized him but couldn't figure out from what!!! I believe he's cameo'd in something I'd seen prior but their presence in the film is ICONIC and really is an important moment

Bradam Reacts

oh thank you for reminding me about Isaac and Tao! I could've sworn Tao was going to immediately move on to film school or something, but you're right! that trio will have a lovely sixth form together 💞

Bradam Reacts

WE GOTTA GET ON THAT OMG! we'll check out Alice's little doodles 🥹

Bradam Reacts

omg we'll check it out!! any more of this world that we can get we will!!!

Bradam Reacts

oh my god wait im gonna cry again😭 i love this whole world THIS IS SO INFORMATIVE TYYYY 🫂

Lauren

The annual Q and As are so cute. Fans ask questions and drew the answers. Q and A 2025 is a great one! Alice confirmed they get married 😭😭😭

Emma Riedo

Oh I just found all the comments here! So I will add here too that there Jake and Hannah Graf are a real life well known trans couple in the UK and they cameo on the bus in the pride march. I tried to screenshot on Netflix but apparently you can’t do that without some tech knowledge - maybe I can from here 🤔

Emma Riedo

I never could quite work out how they were in the same form in secondary school. My daughter has mixed year groups in primary but I never heard of that in secondary! Maybe it’s just for the plot!

Geo

I really love Isaac and his journey (and the actor playing him). After just reading the final graphic novel, though, I do miss the character, Aled, that he more or less replaced. I wouldn't be mad if his bigger story, Radio Silence were the next filmed adaptation, however. Anyone else know this character? Thoughts?

Coffey

I am sat with you boys!

Lauren

I enjoyed Radio Silence! It would be cool to meet Aled. I think Alice has said that since it's possible to adapt it, that's partly why he's not in HS.

Geo

Radio Silence is probably my favorite work of theirs.

Desiree M.

Alice said in her livestream today that her and Yasmin collaborated on her speech to Charlie about needing him at Pride because her rights are being challenged daily.

Mike

I know you guys are Nick/Kit simps, but it's so strange how you two never acknowledge that the character of Charlie was so much more comfortable exposing his body in the movie finale. Joe did an amazing performance in this movie. They were both so wonderful.

Bradam Reacts

Bradley makes a comment in the very first scene they get together that his shirt comes off and how big of a deal that is! And Adam even clarifies at 22:22! we love these characters and will always do our best to acknowledge growth where we can 💞

lisa mcarthur

i love your reaction i realy love it and did u know there going to be this thursday the doc and behind the screns has well what they did for young royals and i hope u react to it have a look on media and u will it it on 24th of july

lila brooks

adam the lip bite, look away, turn to bradley at 1:41:03 HAHA so real

Kath Media

I had to stop watching it because I needed the emotional support. Have been ugly crying

Bradam Reacts

the stream by services are rude with the no screenshots deal! but I think I found them! 🩵 i’m so glad they highlighted trans people in this film with all their community is enduring right now. this movie showed them love and I’m so happy!!!

Bradam Reacts

oh!! I thought I maybe heard that but was thrown when they were all wearing all black, which from a little searching I guess is something they call a Leaver’s Ball in the UK (?) maybe they switched the term for international fans to better understand (i.e for me who still missed it lol ) 😌🩵

Emma Riedo

The older couple was one of my daughter’s favourite parts. She read the book already so she was constantly one step ahead with most of what would happen!

Emma Riedo

Yes, we have ridiculous new laws coming in, in the UK in August about which public bathroom a person can use. Sadly I don’t think the people who would benefit from watching it are watching it. Although my daughter had found it and watched it on Netflix because it was in her age category long before I knew it existed, so perhaps there is hope. Anyway, I keep telling my mum friends that it’s a must watch if you want to create a safe space for your children to be who they are.

wren

y’all’s reaction to nick bottoming took me OUT. i had nothing nice to say either

Sandra Day

Love those leaves too! 🩵💜🩷💛

Sandra Day

Thanks guys! It was lovely to watch this. If you want some more context about the party where they had the fight, listen to the audiobook or read “Nick and Charlie”. Charlie does try and avoid Nick because he keeps on saying how wonderful uni will be and Charlie hates that. I use the audiobook if I can’t sleep as the voices (not Kit and Joe unfortunately) are so beautiful. But I have to remember to set the timer to stop before the fight otherwise it wakes me up!

Bradam Reacts

the fear in his eyes told me charlie was about to give it to him good! #noticing

Dereth Salchak

When we see Nick in upstairs at the party, I was taken back to Nick and Charlie's conversation on the balcony in Paris. Nick saying how they always escape parties to hang out together. I just wanted to them to have a conversation. But also, that scene was so beautiful and tragic. They are both so good - you can see the moment where Nick checks out and takes the leap to "he is breaking up with me". I will miss Nick and Charlie, but I am excited to see where Kit and Joe go. This is such an important story and I am so grateful it is in the world and I can watch it one million times!

Anastacia

I feel like the movie was such a nice wrap up of the series. I agree with Adam I would’ve loved a season (I’m also greedy) but I’m glad they wrapped it without it being dragged out and getting like bad if that makes sense. This series is so important for the queer community. I also love that the series didn’t just focus on like the coming out aspect of being queer but we got to actually see them be themselves and other parts of being queer and how just normal it is if that makes sense. Ik I would’ve loved to have this kinda of show when I was younger and figuring myself out. I’m so thankful queer kids (and others) have this show for representation today especially with the state of our country (🫠). So so bittersweet to say goodbye to our babies 🥺

Kitty Betham

😭😭 YOU GUYS!! you glossed over the side by side first/last “Heartstoppers Pinky Touch” A beautiful movie thanks for all you do

Steven Jump

As some have said, that's Derek Jacobi who plays part of the old gay couple. He and Ian McKellen( Magneto) play a bickering old couple. It's called Vicious and ran for 2 seasons. Very funny show.

Geo

It's always the skinny ones with the...

em (they/them)

haha I'm almost certain the cute guy that cameo'd in the coffee shop is pat walters, the exec producer for the show!

Mark Edwards

Jacobi has been in dozens of films and TV series including both Gladiator installments, The Crown, Nanny McPhee, and The King’s Speech. He plays Pete while his husband Richard Clifford, a theater director, plays Len.

Jacqui Chesterton

Okay delayed comment but I appreciated rewatching with you guys so much. I really like how you're able to bring all my scrambled thoughts together into some kind of cohesive thing haha. Also this has reignited my Tori obsession maybe unhealthy lol.

Stephanie F.

Ok, so the last scene that was filmed for the main group was the Pride festival - but the last scene that Kit and Joe filmed together was the picnic in the park. The party at the end is the Leaver’s Ball, basically Prom or a dance for the last year students.

Button

Omg!!! I need to turn on my patreon notifications cause I missed this. My butt is so sat down!!

Button

Omg boys!! What a great reaction to this beautiful movie!!! - you guys had me crying, laughing, thinking deeper about the movie, your "get me pregnant" comment 😂. Everything about it was great as well this beautiful movie!! Thank you boys!! Looking forward to what you coming next!!

Button

Yup it's Patrick Walters, one of the EPs of the show since the start. He's a CUTIE!!

lisa mcarthur

i love your reaction and just wounding if u going to do the heartstopper forever doc and be hind the scene of what u did for young royals and iam so happy that ended with all the characters follow there dreams and been happy with there life and to see how far they come and with nick and char will live on and they be together for the rest of there lives with two dogs and a happy family and get marred and they will live there lives with out us but we all know they be together for ever

Daniel O'Neal

The Leeds University thing has always made me chuckle a little bit. In many parts of the US or Canada, going to a university that was ONLY five hours a way would be considered relatively nearby.

Kent Smither

Thanks for this. This show has meant so much to me as a now 72 year old Texan bisexual. I want to be able to keep it forever so I'm sharing a link to this petition to release the show on DVD etc. https://c.org/bRYSC4BtQM
