The Hangover Part 2 Full Movie Reaction!

So, this one gets a lot of flack for being too repetitive and having way too many here we go again moments and yeah I do get that and more then not with sequels I'm the same way but I don't mind it in this. I still have such a blast and as you said the stakes are far higher then in the first film, I think they go through a lot more. It was far more crucial to find Teddy then it was to find Doug, not only was he only 16 but they had proof that he was indeed hurt, they were also in a different country and they had less clues as well. I liked that in this one a few things happen to Phil a little bit more. He's the leader and always keeps them on track, without him the other two would be lost and he does do that here too, but he goes through a lot more in this one. I think it's funny they really go in on Stu having a dark side, but what about Phil? It seems like he's always the one that causes the fights, he's always egging them on and in this he was the one that shaved Alan, lol. Probably my favorite thing in the entire trilogy is Alan's man crush on Phil. It is just super funny and at the same time actually very sweet. He really does look up to him like a big brother, maybe even more then Doug who he also really cares for. And in return Phil does treat him as such too, he's always a bit more gentle towards him, even after he snapped at him, which was very valid he had to reassure him that they were still friends, lol. And I liked too that it was Phil getting shot and potentially getting really hurt for Alan to finally admit he laced the marshmallows. And speaking of that, I love re-watching the film and seeing Alan's reaction when Phil tosses the marshmallows away, you can tell he's trying to figure out which one it is, lol. I also love the monkey, in fact that monkey has been in quite a few films, it's the same one from Night At The Museum and was also in George Of The Jungle. I just wish though that we got more Paul Giamatti, he wasn't in it nearly enough, he's always great.
