Peter Pan (1953) Full Movie Reaction!

Ngl I didn’t really watch this one growing up but I love the 2003 live action remake. You guys should check that one out too

David Keyes

#1 hater, year two of the hater crusade continues. Wish I could send these assholes to Neverland, but I guess Canada is equally as irrelevant. Captain Hook is a GOAT of hating, because he hates these kids for damn near no reason. PS: These two are still shit!

Hook is the only good live action Peter Pan movie. I mean come on you can't go wrong with Robin Williams as Peter Pan and Dustin Hoffman as Captain Hook.

Okay, so I know you guys both really like Jason Issacs. There's an awesome live action Peter Pan movie from 2003 I definetly reccomend checking out. Man plays most baddass version of captain hook ever

This was a fun surprise! Every scene with Hook, Smee and the crocodile cracks me up every time, it's comedy gold and the slapstick is perfect. Hook is such an underrated villain that I don't think gets mentioned enough when discussing Disney villains. I'll need to look back but Hook may have been the first comedic villain, up until then we had ones like Maleficent, The Evil Queen and The Evil Step-mother, they are iconic for a reason but they aren't funny, they are just plain evil. But Hook has his vicious side, like with the bomb but is hilarious at the same time. I like too that Smee is dumb but he's not a bad guy, he doesn't want to do anything that he does in the movie, which makes you wonder how he even joined up with them. And a fun fact, aside from Hook every adaption that has been made about Peter Pan the actor who plays Hook also plays Wendy's father, I don't know why but I always liked that detail. I know you don't do TV shows and that this will never happen but man I wish you guys would watch Once Upon A Time, especially since you've been doing more classic Disney films. I would love to see your reaction to how they tackled and portrayed the Peter Pan character and story. It's nothing like this or Hook and it's dark, which makes me love it enough more. I knew you guys would love Nana, since you guys are dog lovers. So now it's time to watch Lady and The Tramp, that is all about dogs! It would be a fun reaction.
