I wanted to demonstrate the effects of my Boom 2 EQs indoors again. It’s a very potent speaker which only falls short because of the issues at low levels. I will prepare another video against the old Boom and then return it again, because for me it is unusable due to the weird bass processing.

Exactly the Issue I had with it. Without that weird bass loss at low levels, it would be the best speaker regarding its price!

A massive difference to me with your EQ the speaker suddenly sounds quite enjoyable to me and more high quality. Great work :)

I think with the EQ the Boom 2 does a really good job. I just sold my Motion Boom and ordered the Boom 2. For me the Motion Boom did not have a lot of clarity, especially at over half volume. I hope the Boom 2 will be an improvement in this regard. Thanks for the EQs - I also got them. Now I am waiting for the speaker to arrive :) Edit: Do you think there is an alternative at around the same price without the weird bass thing at low levels? I am using my speakers mostly at low levels in my living room.

Thanks for the EQ settings. I find the Goplay3 and Helsinki presets very good, I tend to use the Goplay3 preset for longer sessions and the Helsinki preset for short term fun. 20 Tracks later: The Helsinki preset sounds great with female voices, the Goplay3 preset sounds mainstream, doesn't want to disturb anyone and wants to please everyone as much as possible.
