This is no April Fool‘s joke. Earfun needs to empty Amazon‘s stock and offers the lowest price for the UBoom X so far, use code UBOOMXXX on top of Amazon’s coupon.

I still can't buy it here in Croatia. I have send them several mails and to this day nothing happened. I have ordered Ubool L, free pro 1 and 3 without any problems. I'm disappointed

Ich werde mit dem Sound leider immer noch nicht warm. Viele Tracks sind perfekt, aber zwischendurch gibt es immer wieder welche, bei denen die Stereoverbreitung scheinbar überhaupt nicht funktioniert und alles total breiig klingt

Du kannst ja den User EQ verwenden, damit bekommt man den Klang auch recht stimmig hin Und „breiig“ klingt anders, wohl den Soundlink Max noch nicht gehört?

Oluv, is EarFun discontinuing the UBOOM X to clear out their stock, or is there another reason? In general, I'm curious—this UBOOM X is praised everywhere, so how are its sales going? As a co-developer, you should know. :)

I just bought one and can confirm that the 30 promo code and the 30 dollar Amazon coupon combined will bring the price down to $100 . Granted I am US based.

I have no insights in their sales, but according to them sales are bad. Just look on Amazon where it says how much units are sold a month and compare to Anker.

Ich kann nachdem ich den 30€ rabatt von amazon aktiviert habe keinen UBOOMXXX code mehr nirgrnds eintragen. Nicht im warenkorb und auch nicht beim bezahlvorgang :/ Überseh ich irgendwo etwas? 159€-30€ geht, mehr nicht.

You probably can't really trust Amazon's numbers. Tribit's, for example, are also low. But it's not just sold on Amazon. In my country, I even saw it being sold in a tech market, and it's available in various online stores as well—both the UBOOM X and UBOOM L. Even EarFun sells it through their own website, so I think Amazon's numbers are complete nonsense. :) I just hope they won't discontinue production—I personally own two units, and with my recommendations, my friends have probably bought at least ten. On the other hand, the UBOOM L has been on sale for three years already, and you probably won't find a better small portable speaker for 50 euros.

How much they sell in total I really don’t care as I have nothing from this. I only get shares if people buy with my discount code and even here I cannot control how many were really sold like this. Like mentioned before since November I „earned“ like 300$ commission from the sales.

I reiceved the speaker on Monday and honestly, this thing is amazing! I love your sound profiles (Indoor+ and Outdoor+). If EarFun stops producing these speakers it will be a huge loss, becuase for the price (with discount), I really believe that you cannot get anything better. I mean, I've paid more for 1x Denon Envaya DSB250BT back in 2018 and it's much smaller and weaker speaker, though in TWS it still shines. I've ordered Uboom X on the official EarFun website (EU) and I believe it was sent from Amazon's warehouse. One thing that was really weird was the fact that the speaker was completly discharged? Is that normal or did I recieve a used one? Also, the default firmware version was 0.41... (I will downgrade to your custom 0.39 for sure due to all modes having dynamic EQ). Other than that, the speaker looked brand new (no signs of wear). I just hope it doesn't have the same issue as Denon Envaya, which has some kind of hardware issue which causes the battery to discharge really fast in standby mode (even in deep sleep). Anyway, thank you Oluv, you did an amazing job with this one!

Ich ehrlich gesagt auch nicht. Im direkten Vergleich mit dem Authentics300 höre ich da überhaupt kein Problem, der Earfun ist sogar deutlich präsenter

Let me know your thoughts. I think I still have some Dockin around somewhere but it’s an older model so maybe not that representative although I think I even preferred the 1st model to the newer ones

Yes, I have Dockin D Fine 1st generation as I heard from your videos it is the best. I have all of your speakers based on your recommendations from videos. I have been watching your channel since maybe 2018. I don't have big collection though, I have JBL Charge 3, Xiaomi Mi (small speaker), B&O P2 and Dockin D Fine. And now I have ordered Earfun as a next speaker after many years. I don't use them that much often, but it is a always a joy to listen to them sometimes or take them to the garden :)

On Amazon UK they're now giving away a free set of EarFun Air S with the UBOOM X. The price also goes down from £110.75 to £103.35 too. I don't want the earphones but they can be a gift for someone, don't need another bluetooth speaker but have to check it out at this price!

The speaker is absolutely great! When I tested it first time I was delighted but not that impressed, after I tried your presets I was impressed immediately. I use Outdoor+ preset for most of my use, even outdoors. When compared to Default setting by Earfun it is a night and day. I think if they set this to default then this speaker would be huge hit. I also like to use BoomXXX outdoors in some tracks makes the punch really heavy and also love Ground 0 when the speaker is placed at the floor it really makes the difference. It feels there was put a lot of effort into tuning, when compared to all other presets by Earfun. Lovely speaker and the battery is awesome in my opinion too.
