I had paused with my headphone plans recently, as I was expecting new samples to arrive until I could continue my work. Today I finally received 5 samples of the alternate headphone model I was working on which you can see in the photos. I let one of them laserprint my preliminary logo draft just to see how it would look like in real life. Right now one side shows only the symbol, the other side the entire name so that I can decide how to proceed with the final design. Probably only 1 side will have some printing. Those having some aversion against cursives, Marshall’s logo isn’t much better. The intention is to achieve some classy look with a strong musical resemblance.

This model has the latest Qualcomm chip built in, thus supports ANC and most Bluetooth codecs including AptX LDAC etc. It’s still a work in progress as driver design was improved recently which or course changed the frequency response. With 5 different samples I can check variation better and create a more valid tuning than I was able for the NH1. This here is not as premium looking but if the NH1 doesn’t work out because of too strong sample variation, hopefully this model here will be an alternative and could reach production if I manage to collect the necessary funds.

The full logo isn’t bad actually. Best of luck!

Great news with the Qualcomm chip! Happy to hear that. The logo on your left ear with musical resemblance looks really great. Looking forward to hear developements from this project. I will immediatly invest.

These look pretty good to me. Making the logo just less contrasty would probably be preferred by many since it is now readable from like 10 meters away😅

hope wired connection has a zero latency mode!

For some reason the logo looks better here. I don't know if it's the white on black or what... I like the design of the headphones too. Actually I kind of like the different logos on each side; makes it more interesting somehow. Also could be easier to tell the left from the right cup quickly. Although I seem to prefer the "Oluv'Sone" more than the symbol logo. It's classier to me somehow. I'm not sure if the symbol logo is too big? Have you thought about having the logo run along the perimeter of the cup plates? Not sure if that might look good... I think having ANC would probably make it easier to market and it is useful too. Sometimes I just put on my ANC headphones and don't play any sounds or music just to meditate or drown out annoying noises. LDAC is definitely a plus although I don't care about it as much as I used to. I see how much more important tuning is..
