To my surprise the Soundlink Plus doesn't sound much better if not even worse than the old Flex. It's another of those obsolete overpriced speakers released recently yet praised everywhere, just because it's from Bose.

I think Sounddock Portable still sounded better.

The soundlink plus has a tweeter at the very right side compared to the flex

The Bose Plus is really i big dissapointment, after i saw yout video. I really like the Bose Flex (have 2 of them) and had high hopes. The Bose Soundlink Max was impressive in the stereo imaging, if you listen just from the right angle and distance. But the bass performance and dynamics were really subpaar, compared to its size and amount of active drivers. I hoped the Plus would be just a bassier Flex, with more headroom, but its seems like its not the case, or really minimal. At the moment im listening to the Marshall Middleton 2 and i like it. Not the most realistic sound, but just the right size to carry it outside and to friends, with a relaxed, deep bass elevated sound signature. The 360° sound is also nice to have in other situations than critical listening.
