SoundCore Boom 3i - first impressions & EQs (Patreon)

Let's hear if the Boom 3i is just as great and will outperform the similar JBL Charge 6 just like the Boom 2 outperformed the Xtreme 4...

The SoundCore Boom 3i is something of a mixed bag. Similar hardware to the JBL Charge 6 but with worse performance overall.

We will listen to it compared against the UBoom L which is about the same size and the Charge 6 which is more expensive though. I also added the Boom 2 which costs about the same as the 3i now but is much larger of course.

Default tuning is pretty boomy and muddy but can be improved with a user EQ, although it remains quite scratchy sounding and tends to distort when bass is boosted too much. I created 2 EQs for it, one which should offer a more neutral response indoors and another one with more bass boost for outdoor use.
