PEQdB is a website app with a huge list of headphone measurements and lets you create EQs automatically towards different targets or make personalized EQs etc. Their default and most preferred target is "HIfiEndgame" which I tried in this video. I don't think it's neither Hifi nor Endgame, what do you think?

Hm, i wonder how they create these targets

The guy who created this hifiendgame target and this whole website seems to be some researcher and he publishes is it on his youtube channel, well years before, he was just laughing on all youtubers, targets and so, like crinacle and even oluv

Looking at the white paper available on peqdb.com, the PEQdB target curves are fundamentally user preference-based. So are the Harman target curves as well. Neither are aimed at neutral reproduction., but rather what most people actually seem to prefer...

Looking forward for your target to be uploaded to the website!

Hi Oluv. I didn’t expect you to actually talk about this target. It’s not actually surprising to me that is target actually sounds horrible, the guy who created this target it’s just another dumbass pretentious "audiophile" who thinks his target is the best there around and criticizes anyone who thinks this target is trash. He likes to pretend that he knows what sound quality really is, but in reality, he doesn’t know anything about sound quality, in his own words, he thinks that a flat sound signature is not desired, but rather he thinks that a V-shaped sound signature is actually what sound supposed to be like He even thinks terrible headphones like the DT990 PRO with worn earpads are the best ones around to get, because "it matches his own target", even though we all know those headphones are absolutely trash and nothing compared to actual neutral sounding headphones. In short, the guy is a just a jackass pretentious "expert" claiming he knows everything, but he knows nothing. Contrary to you Oluv, he DOSEN'T care for true and honest sound quality, while you Oluv, you do, and that’s why I support you. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! By the way, he has a YT channel, if you want to check him out: https://youtube.com/@hifiendgame?si=Vp8hZQywi9zHzCk_

There is also the Optimum HiFi curve from oratory1990 which I used to prefer over the stock sound, but now it sounds off/muffled when compared to Oluv's neutral target, for the hd58x: Filter: ON LS Fc 26 Hz Gain 6.0 dB Q 0.71 Filter: ON LS Fc 105 Hz Gain -1.0 dB Q 0.71 Filter: ON PK Fc 160 Hz Gain -2.3 dB Q 0.5 Filter: ON PK Fc 1300 Hz Gain -2.4 dB Q 1.5 Filter: ON HS Fc 1900 Hz Gain 4.5 dB Q 0.71 Filter: ON PK Fc 3400 Hz Gain -3.2 dB Q 2.0 Filter: ON PK Fc 5500 Hz Gain -6.7 dB Q 3.5 Filter: ON HS Fc 11000 Hz Gain -4.0 dB Q 0.71 https://www.reddit.com/r/oratory1990/wiki/index/list_of_presets/

Also, don’t stop working your own headphone, i will own and buy one. Keep up the good work.

did you try it on an iem? on my iem (Truthear Nova with foam tips), it's actually pretty close to your target. I would say your target is still better overall and more realistic, but I think it's the closest thing to your target and has a similar tonality overall, so I think it's a good starting point if you want to do an eq for in-ears. I haven't tried the headphone version, but from your video, it seems like it's not very good. The iem version definitely doesn't sound boomy like this, it has similar amount of bass as your target.

Hi Oluv, I know I can Shazam but can you share the name of the track, what I'm hearing in. Your videos I love your taste in music, thank you.
