The Focal Bathys MG is claimed to be the best sounding wireless headphone currently. Unfortunately it continuously turned off when I tried comparing it to the normal Bathys. I could listen just shortly and the differences didn’t appear that huge to me, I even preferred the normal Bathys which we will hear in this podcast.

No contest. The SPX-R is on another level of neutrality, the Focal Bathys isn’t worth the high price it has. I’m getting the SPX-R!

I wonder which presets are on Bathys/MG. When I had the first one there was no Harman preset in the app and it wasn't very well tuned. It might be the default now. Heard MG only for a few minutes at a store and it felt a bit cleaner, but still needing EQ.

SpX-R sounds amazing… It would be terrible if this project couldn’t be realized… Also, we’re really looking for a significant upgrade over the Q30… If that’s not possible, maybe you’ll do EQs for other models in the coming months… Which models are targeted for EQ?

I am planning the DT770/80, the HD560S, HD600 and maybe HD650 etc

The HD560S is more neutral, the DT770 more fun sounding.

Bathys is not horrible. Bass is a bit bloated and treble is too boosted (maybe 6-8khz region), but better than others you have sampled here. Some eq could fix some of these problems. But I think even Koss ksc75 sounds more natural, and SpX-R is far better.

I think a distinct name is quite important for people to get notice. NH1 was a bit simple. SpX-R stands for speaker experience

I once learned in marketing, good names are repetitive names like coca cola, rolls royce, m&m's, TuttiFrutti, Hubba Bubba, Kit Kat, Zara, Sasa, Clean&Clear, Johnson&Johnson and so on. It was shown in studies also that people remember it instantly. Just wnted to share :)

There is no right way to say it, so I'll say it in some way. I don't really care for speakers, and already have my 2(3?) endgame headphones to think about (will get Senn HD560s next year). Thank you for your work, but I must depart here.
