I was surprised with the performance of the Aventho 300 which is the top model from Beyerdynamic.

I didn’t capture any of the Spatial Audio features but played around with the EQ presets which look like this:

I preordered the SpX-R, but now my Q30 stopped working and I have to replace it fast. I cannot choose beetween another Q30 or the Sennheiser HD560s, which one is better?

They are very different. One is open, the other one closed. The HD560 tends to sound neutral, the Q30 is pretty boomy even with bass completely reduced.

Actually I cannot rate single frequency ranges. All frequencies must fit to each other then you can say one sounds good.

So it wouldn t be an updgrade? It would only sound different?

The Edifier Stax Spirit S3 sounds nice also the Sundara Silver Edition, definitely better than the Q30 and HD560S

I never heard you speak about the Edifiers, I also have speakers from them, which sound really good. are they better than the hd600?

Hi Oluv, just wait, we still have two months left. If we dont reach the goal then i also dont know whats wrong with people. Demo'ing the sound like you do lets one think that its a no brainer to buy one but people maybe just dont care... Well lets wait how many will sign up. If the goal wont be reached i can fully understand you and joys frustration as you invested a lot of time into it. Frohes Fest anyhow 🙂

I came across at least one other critical review: The Headphone Show (Headphones.com YouTube channel) wasn’t impressed either, and in their video they provide a more detailed breakdown of what’s wrong with the Aventho 300’s tuning.
