I wish everyone a peaceful time. It was a bit stressy the last days, I didn't have much time for anything, but we prepared this video for you, demonstrating some of the headphones at once, Marek had sent me. Which one do you like best?

Without hearing the reference directly, most of them would be acceptable and the ear could get used to the sound after some minutes of "burn-in", but as soon as you hear the neutral reference, it's obvious that all of them are off.

Marek told me that he is finishing his review of the SpX-R and will probably post it today, so stay tuned to hear what he has to say, as you obviously don't quite trust my own judgement or my sound samples, which are the result of creating a valid headphone target and the SpX-R being part of it.

Stay well, J&O.

Everything sounds bad, except for the Ananda Nano, Verum 2 and Sundara Silver, but even those two don’t compare to the SpX-R. I also wonder where the Edifier Stax Spirit S3 would fit among them.

Oh I trust your judgement! And while I am able to offer support here on Patreon, a purchase like this is a bit over my budget atm, which I think might be the case for others as well. You need to reach as many people as possible with the SpX-R! Even if the reviewer has different tastes in sound and perhaps say he'd like more boomyness, if the reach is broad, I'm sure quite a few will think the opposite and consider pledging. Others might just be curious. So I think you should focus on the reach, regardless of a possible reviewer bias. Looking forward for the first review and the others that will follow!

the stax s3 is worse in any way. I tried them.

Ananda Nano and Sundara are acceptable. Any casual user could fix them with some eq. But it's surprising how bad the Sennheiser models sound. Grell is the worst of the bunch! SpX-R beats them all, at least in these samples.

You say that we don’t trust your judgement. That’s NOT TRUE Oluv. We DO trust your judgement, which is why we even support you in the first place, because we DO trust you. Keep up the good work and I hope this project doesn’t end up dying. I WANT THIS HEADPHONE.

I also somehow think they are better than most other wireless offerings let alone for their price. I will still try to cover them when I have some time
