The JBL Partybox 520 should be a better contender for the Teufel Rockster Neo, as both cost about the same, with the Teufel being quite a bit lighter and easier to carry around. Let's hear which one performs better overall.

the video cuts out at around 4:30 for a few seconds

Bartosz

also would it be possible for you to test the jbl partybox 320 with these speakers? im curious how it would compare to the 520 and is it worth to upgrade

Mario Strugger

Disappointment confirmed 😅

Is it possible that you can do some frequency response measurements of some (or maybe all) partyboxes at 30 / 50 / 80 % loundness (if possible with seperate graphs for deep bass mode engaged)? Im really curious which one plays the deepest, or is it all about loudness and the bigger speakers just compress later?

Nick De Wit

I think jbl is such a waste of money maybe you can check the new teufel rockstar 2 that has announced today i think it looks promising overall

Thomas Wesolowski

By the way, have you read about the iLoud Sub? It has built in ARC room measurement software and comes with a XLR mic. If you connect your iLoud micro monitors to its output, the sub can eq your complete system with sats! The result is stored in the sub, so no need to run the ARC software all the time. But you need a usb audio interface with xlr input and phantom power to do the initial measurements. im very intrigued and ordered the sub from thomann. it should arrive the next days, and im going to try it with my adam audio d3v desktop monitors. It will also work with you nubert sats at your tv. best thing is to connect them via xlr cable.

its 12kg heavier, they added rocks inside or what? 1db louder than the rockster upgraded and 2 hz lower than it too, not sure if its that big of a difference for another 300 euros

Nick De Wit

Yewh i get that but for those who want a better battery overall qnd the latest experience then its a cool thing and if you want somerhing that is small grab the monirigs instead

oluvsgadgets

I don’t have the reach to receive a unit, expect M1M to rave about it soon. I definitely won’t order one as shipping is a real hassle and I couldn’t even fit it into my trunk let alone lift it.

oluvsgadgets

I am not sure I need some extra bass. The Nuberts play well below 30hz but it causes issues within my room

DominikReviews

they claim on it 15hours while on the old one 20hours, not sure on what volume but well, seems like the old one is just a better choice

Frank Straten

Oluv, which speaker sounds better at low volumes? 720, 520, teufel neo or the w-king t12? I am looking for a speaker that mostly need to play at low volumes but also need to make a party

Nick De Wit

Ooh yeah make sense indeed its indeed fucking heavy i have the old version and its a brute thing its to heavy but its fun when im around with friends and want to have some party

Nick De Wit

I guess so tho i didnt knew it like i awe it but now i relise its not worth it the upgrade i have the older model and its 125db RMS its goddamnn loud not the best sound on high volumes though but still it is a really decent battery powered pa speaker

oluvsgadgets

The 720 for sure, I want to make another indoor video featuring all of them

oluvsgadgets

From what I could hear so far the 720 plays deepest in a sense that the bass has some real quality. There are people claiming the Bromley to play down to 25hz which is bullshit.

Rick Kooistra

It's freakin 43.79kg, heavier than the Partybox 1000 (34.7kg) and even the Partybox Ultimate (39.5kg). A bigger version of the Rockster Neo with a woofer with neodymium magnet to make it more portable, would've been better.

Nick De Wit

Yeahh its unreal indeed haha

Europhane

I don't trust the values announced, the old rockster plays at 124db with a lot of distortion, it is not usable at this level. If the new one can play at this level with much less distortion then it will be a real improvement.

oluvsgadgets

Keep in mind that the new one still has the same battery which resulted in about 15 minutes of playing time at maximum

oluvsgadgets

Ja bym nie kupował Neo, on z bokach szybko traci. A zamiast Cross spróbuj Boom 2.
