Although the W-King T12 gives a bit of a "cheap" impression overall it still holds up quite nicely against the more than twice as expensive and way heavier JBL Partybox 520. Let's check how both perform in the open field at high levels.

Its a bargain, i would take it over the jbl any day. I could even fine tune it externally as the hardware is great, maybe i could even take it apart and polyfill it to remove some hollowness. For the price very great and undistorted with bass at 0 or below. Take notes jbl!

I just think the battery may be not that great. I fully charged it, went out and it lost 2 steps within 15 minutes. Not sure how reliable the indicator is, but at least the JBL battery seems pretty solid.

i think you should try cmf by nothing - headphone pro, its half the price of nothing headphone, sadly it only has 3 band slider eq (bass, mids, treble)

Yeah the battery on all the models from the 120 and up are very decent. The wking has to be tested i think. The old D8's i have have amazing battery's, they last hours and hours at maximum. I remember back in 2020 i had 1 to the beach and we had it 3 days with us without charging, the 4th day it gave a warning that it was almost empty. If this one has a short battery life I would be suprised

If it doesn’t sound considerably different then you won’t be able to improve much with just 3 fixed bands

its probably because of how cold it is, voltage goes down and indicator thinks its almost out of charge, same thing happening on phones

Indeed it looks like a decent battery. The JBL Partybox 520 has a JBL 600 battery 21.6V/4584 mAH 99.02 Wh.
