End of mid and hifi-level coming soon (Patreon)

Just wanted to inform you that with February 20th the mid and hifi-levels will finally cease. If you are still on one these levels you can either up or downgrade. You get all previous benefits and more with the current enthusiast level now. I also had to increase the entry level in order to be able to continue my work. If you look at other creators on Patreon like Audioholics, DMS, Darko Audio, Erin's audio corner, Passion for Sound, etc, they all start at €4 or €4.50 but mostly have some other business running beside.

I know that many of you are pissed because of the price increase, but in the longer term my plan is still to release some own hardware carefully tuned by me while the costs to obtain samples are so high that I otherwise couldn't cover all these costs. I had 50 potential backers for the SpX-R therefore the next project will be released on a much smaller scale and my main goal will be to at least satisfy those who already backed with a headphone that is even better with better hardware than the SpX-R was. Right now I have just a single sample that I am working on, but once I think it makes sense to continue with this I will need to order a couple of other units to have a better overview about general sample variation etc. I also have 2 speaker samples in arrival and I already have an IEM which I can work on. All those samples are build by hand and cost a lot to produce, therefore the only way to support me with this is here through Patreon. I will of course continue doing reviews and try creating EQs to improve the sound of given products, the effort to do all these outdoor videos, purchasing or lending that gear is often underestimated. But my main focus will be to release an own audio line up that sounds better than the competition and of course I'll need a budget to be able to do this.
