I have taken both to the beach to listen to some music, I definitely prefer the Minirigs and decided to return the Xtreme 5.

The question is whether 2 JBL Xtreme 5 in stereo would even the score...

TWS with stereo speakers doesn’t work that well like I have shown. You have 4 teeeters which all interfere with each other. And although 2 will be louder the sound will still be somehow off. JBL tuned the Xtreme 5 quite weird

That's true, and what you say makes sense, but it's also true that I really enjoy listening to my two Uboom X speakers vertically in stereo.

Of course, I'm interested in portable small speakers with great sound! But I've already got two UBoom L and I'm very lucky to have two UBoom X. So now, I've got already more speakers than needed... I hope I can give one of them (Uboom L) as a gift to someone, so that afterwards I have to refill the stock 😎
