Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 7 - episode #3

Nice video. I must say that I think that the bass of the Onyx can be tiring after a while. Also the lack of an app and wifi is a dealbreaker for me. I still enjoy the Marshall Stockwell 2, it is a easy to listen speaker in the house or at the porch. I listen in my living with the Stockwell put in a corner, like you put the Onyx and the bass is just right.

Many thanks for the nice comparisons of the Onyx Studio7. But enthusiasm got lost somehow on my side. Regarding size and price (and my personal requirements) I will stay with the speakers which i already own (and use). I can understand you when you say you will not keep it, Oluv.

sometimes a speaker can grow on you, like it was the case with the Sonos Roam which I didn't like that much in the beginning. But in case of the Onyx 7 I simply think they didn't try hard enough to make something really outstanding.

I like this bass from onyx but this stage from Marshall :) so nice

Onyx 7 vs Sony SRS-XB33 vs Anker SoundCore Motion Boom ?

The Marshall is still my overall favourite, just this openness and no kind of boomy mess when you increase bass. Thanks oluv, many thanks.

Unfortunately HK does it the same way as their little sister JBL. New speakers are not perfect in many ways and they throw them on the market inflationary. Sometimes they even step backwards regarding development. Makes sense if you just want to sell those. Makes no sense if you want to provide a real unique speaker which maybe state of the art for many yeats.

I wish you gave us the Helsinki in this conditions As a reference ....

If you combine the impressive bass of Onyx Studio with the Sonos as a treble speaker you will get a better Stockwell in terms of frequency response. Still Stocwell II is unbeaten for it's stage spaciousness magic.

Same here I will always love the stockwell 2. The Tufton, Killburn 2 and the ember ton didn’t wow me at all. But the stockwell 2 is so dope
