This time compared against the Helsinki also throwing in the JBL Flip 6. If the Bose can compete with the Vifa it cannot be bad, right?

now this is how you do a comparison. i did not think you would like the bose as much as you did but for me the more i liston to the bose the more i like it. its growing on me. i have the flip 6 as well and its also great. its hard for me to choose a winner. cant believe it compared somewhat to the vifa. I am impressed.

For 169€ on Bose.de the Bose is a really good competitor! Thank you for this video. Now I can recommend the Bose in my family if needed. The Vifa I think "delivers" for his higher price. For my Copenhagen 2.0 I ordered the remote control from Sweden. There was no availability in Germany anymore. With the RC the volume control is finer.

Hi Oluv, to me its pretty impressing how good the bose can compete against the vifa. How do you think the bose can compete against the Minirig 3? Pricewise its more or less the same. It would be interesting for me as Im searching for a mini hifi desktop solution which I could take outside in the garden with me if necessary. I'm thinking about a two pcs setup for stereo. oh. i just wanted to buy me a flip 6. as replacement for my envaya mini from 2015. now i am not sure if the bose fit better to me. i need to hear your video a second time…

I think the Bose is much more impressive/bigger sounding and more rugged than the MR3. However, the MR3 has insane battery life and sounds a bit more hifi I would say. Specially in stereo it’s a nice setup.

I prefer the Bose. The Flip gets really treble heavy on higher levels. You need to adjust the eq based on the volume level which is quite annoying.

I bought the Bose Flex today in this smoke white color and it looks much better than the Flip 6. Soundwise I think they are quite comparable at half volume. The Flip 6 has maybe slightly sweeter Treble and Bose has slightly the edge in the bass department. At lower volume and at high volume you have to use the eq of the Flip 6 to make it sound good. But at max volume the Bise compresses quite heavy. If you turn down treble and maxout bass on the Flip, then the Flip 6 sounds cleaner at max! It is a heavy choise, but overall I would prefer the Bose by a little bit, but the Flip 6 is not far off!

I‘ve found a guy on youtube who disambles the Bose Flex. Beside the speaker and the two passive radiators it is really empty inside. They could have added a bigger battery, but maybe this empty space is an advantage for the bass!? Here is a link to the video: https://youtu.be/30nLWJL7ACg

Thank you Oluv for this great video! It's very enjoyable how you do this. For me I am still unsure which one to buy: Flip 6 or SoundLink Flex. I bought the Emberton for Christmas for my wife but we are both disappointed and will return it. I wish you had made a deeper comparison between the Bose and the JBL instead of the Vifa. We like to use the speaker at home but also taking outdoors and backpacking. Will you do another comparison soon, so we would wait before we decide which one to go for? I really recommend trying to stereo-pair the Flex with another one; my own experience in that regard has been flawless.

I think since it’s an outdoor speaker bose make it boomy so it can cut through the air and other sounds better.
