Edit (hotfix 1):

Fixed the tutorial freezing up when opening the chest (Thanks to Khymeu for the bug report).

Disabled the scene selector for the new kobold cinematic (Thanks to Bostolm for the bug report).

Fixed some minor issues with the new viper cinematic.

Original post below:

Bit of a small update this month due to my week off from working on the game, but now I'm refreshed and ready to get cracking on the next version.

Interacting with, or walking into the TV on the first floor will now take Chloe and her allies to the "real" world from the game over cinematics. For now it only features a bedroom and a lovely 70s style avocado green bathroom. To return to the dungeon simply walk into or interact with the TV again.

To get the new kobold cinematic, interact with the real world bed while a kobold ally is nearby.

The public build for v0.4 will be released sometime next weekend, I won't need to do too much work on it so the August preview should be up on the 1st as usual.

Thank you all so much for your support.

Full list of changes below:

New stuff:

New "real" world area added.

New kobold bed cinematic added.

New viper threesome cinematic added.

Changes:

Added a new shop menu for the pigman trader and the vending machine (Thanks to Lulu for the reminder).

The pigman trader bonus now stacks up to 50% and only resets when looping.

The minotaur blacksmith now gives 25% discounts per boobjob (max 50%) instead of 100 bits.

The voyeur bath is no longer single use. But the blacksmith only appears with full nuts.

The tutorial now mentions the spellbook menu and how to use it.

Made some tweaks to the skull threesome cinematic to prevent extreme shoulder deformations.

Bugfixes:

Made some tweaks to the alpine outfit to prevent clipping in certain cinematics (Thanks to IcyNinji for the bug report).

Fixed an issue with tentacle summons spawning weirdly at higher levels (Thanks to Myahmary for the bug report).

The cinematic customization menu will now auto close when cinematic finishes (Thanks to Ravenmire for the bug report).

I'm happy to see the snakemen figured out their math problem

Myahmary

thank god for the tentacle spawn fix lol, so many lost hardcore runs cus they spawned in 3 rooms over lmao

Dooply

Even for a "small" update it still doesn't disappoint like, the whole new bedroom and bathroom area leaves alot of possibilities for future scenes that I hope isn't limited to just allies (Tho Idk if you plan on adding any more in future). Like if there were some item that could allow you to capture 1 enemy per run and then could be summoned near the bed or bathtub for some fun later but I won't push my luck as you already put in alot of work and it's unrealistic to ask something like that. So keep up the amazing work mate and I hope you had a great time during your week off.

Myahmary

And im now addicted to the kobold cowgirl cinematic, my only slight comment about it is that I wish you could do it anywhere without the bed but I understand why it is that way

Bostolm

Turns out you can change the scene during the kobold cowgirl. Also turns out, the game doesnt really appreciate that

Khymeu

The tutorial seems to freeze as soon as you open the chest on the 2nd floor.

I discovered if you lead ANY monster back to the Real World, the sex scene happens in the TV room. The lighting works for most of the monsters, but Panther and Minotaur could use a little adjusting, but that might just be me. BTW @Floppystack, are you okay with Fan Arts? Is there a Discord server or a Twitter?

Metehan Soylu

Hello is there any clothing damage mechanic

SkrumLord

Hi Floppy! Idk if you've already been asked this, would you consider giving Chloe the option for different facial expressions? (in future updates that is) Thank you for all your work on this project!

Floppystack

For now the real world is just for cinematics. But I might use it for some world building/goofy storytelling in the future. In my week off I finally got around to playing Clair Obscur, which was awesome.

Floppystack

I really liked the lighting with the TV in the background on some of the cinematics. But because it was pretty broken on a lot of the other ones I removed the stage from the menus. Consider it an easter egg for now. I'm fine with fanart, links to my twitter and bluesky are on the main menu at the bottom of the screen. I'm not very good at using them though, the twitter UI confuses the hell out of me.

Floppystack

Hey, sorry but there is no clothing damage in the game. I took it out in favour of the mirror customization system.

Floppystack

I have plans for personality based facial expressions. I'm waiting on a new layered animation system coming to Blender before I start working on it.

Metehan Soylu

well clothing damage and cloth state rape attack chance these mechanics could be challenging and sexy if you plan to make hard mode harder in the future :)

IcyNinji

Man, I have been checking the TV for easter eggs since I first found out about this game. Now that it actually leads to a special location, it is very satisfying. I wonder if you might consider putting a special game over animation in for being overwhelmed in the "real world" since it seems kind of odd to me that you would fall back out of the tv if you share the bed with your kobold too many times in a row. A fun avenue for new animations though. Also really happy about the blacksmith change, that seems far preferable to me. Hope you had a good break, Floppy, excited to see what comes next as always.

Ignacio Manzanares

I loved the new cinemática with the kobold in bed!! Are you planning to add more bed scenes?? Great work!

Vilexa

Just some suggestions. You should make a POV camera mode where the camera takes the spot of a monsters head. Or at the very least allow free cam to clip into the monster. Im also super happy you implemented the half off clothing options for the tops. I hope you make a bot version as well.

FlippyHippy

your animation work is incredible, looking forward to seeing more from you

Schmunguss69

it would be nice if it could there was an option for clothing damage eventually.

Ravenmire

Discovered some fun stuff, probably not intended, but leads to interesting ideas. If you use the camera controls on the 1on1 pantherman scene, you can clip it through Chloe's leg and see inside where the schmeat goes. Only bringing this up because it makes the case for x-rays or other close up angles, but from what I can gather, Floppy is making all this on his own, so that may be a far stretch of a goal, if a goal at all.

Floppystack

Thanks. The allies should all get bed cinematics since they can actually follow the player to the real world.

Floppystack

I find it much easier to make a visually interesting scene when all the characters pose as if they're putting on a show for an almost static camera. And I cheat a lot by hiding clipping issues where the camera can't see them. So when the camera is completely free to move it's a bit like being able to peek behind the curtains during a theater play. But it would be neat to have some cinematics that are animated for first person as the main camera angle.

Floppystack

Definitely not intended :P In most cinematics the diddlydoo just bends out of the way when inside to avoid clipping through the belly. If I were to add something like an xray feature it would probably only be for one or two cinematics. There's a new stencil buffer comming in Godot 4.5 that I believe would make it doable, but I haven't had time to play with it yet.

Ravenmire

Call it the Schmeat buffer lol

Foxfire

Fantastic work as usual! I couldn't find anybody mentioning this yet and I'm not sure if there's a better place to report bugs, so I'm going to mention it here, hope that's okay. The "overwhelmed" game over screen has some kind of clipping issue going on for the right foot that renders it mostly invisible. It's most apparent on the nude version of course, but it seems to happen on all outfit types. Oddly enough, I couldn't see this clipping issue on the "defeated" version of the game over screen. Once again, thank you for all the hard work and looking forward to future updates :)
