Dougan's Hole - Still Image (Patreon)

When reading the description of Dougan's Hole, the adventure starts by describing it as the smallest and most insular of the Ten Towns. With only one road in and out of the town, it feels very isolated from the rest of the Icewind Dale civilisation, and they also explain as a side effect of this, the population has fallen into inbreeding. I wanted to make this location feel different from all the other Ten Towns, and I wanted to try to achieve that through the colour pallete. Whereas all the other locations I have done in cold and blue tones, I chose more of a slightly sickly yellow for this image, and I hope that helps to communicate the difference in feeling of this town from the others.
