Zeke

Loving your theories but also loving how much you have yet to see and to continue to have your minds blown…

Eugene Conner

It's not a spoiler to say that you are correct. Griesha's first son is the beast Titan. The part that tips it off is when he says his the kid's name is Zeke. You may not remember, but the beast Titan is War Chief Zeke. That funny looking titan with the luggage called him that.

Bean

I actually enjoyed your theory about Monkey Titan being Eren's dad because Zeke looks exactly like Grisha, just a blonde version. Eren on the other hand is a carbon copy of his mother.

Reiner, Bert, and Annie are Marleyean warriors. They are against the eldians in Paradise and work for Marley. They mentioned it in the episode, Marley needs Eldians to serve as vessels for the 7 titans they have so they can maintain global dominance.

Dreamknight942

Eldians are the only ones who can transform into titans, the Marleyans are using eldians as their titan shifters. Obvious the Eldians in Marley are somewhat brainwashed against their own people on Paradis and want to be warriors to fight the “evil Eldians:

Edwin

so reiner annie and zeke (beast titan) all live in the internment zone and are selected marleyan warriors to wield the ability of the nine titans, their goal is to basically serve the maryleyan which are humans that cant turn into titans. they send them paradis to retrieve the founding titan and cease the island and take all fossil fuel they have cause its important.

Sean Carroll

You don’t read our comments so this is probably a waste of time. This episode is definitely challenging but the main issue is you guys didn’t understand the rest of the show that well in the lead up to this moment. People that have a strong understanding of the story don’t struggle as much as you did during this episode. 1. Only eldians can become titans 2. There are 9 special titans (founding, colossal, armoured, female, beast, attack, Ymir’s titan, the luggage titan, 1 unknown titan not shown yet 3. Marley forced Reiner bertholdt and Annie to attack the walls and take the founding titan. So while their actions were terrible the 3 of them are not evil 4. The rest of the world fears the walls because of the millions of titans in the wall. If they are released the entire world is doomed 5. Reiner etc were trying to save the world from the wall titans 6. The Eldian king 100 years ago escaped to paradis island with thousands of eldian people and wiped their memories so they wouldn’t remember anything of the outside world 7. Every titan they have faced are simply eldian people who are punished for crimes and sent to the island. Ymir included

Hippopi

They didn't struggle that much at all this episode actually.

Manicpixievampire

a lot of comments might hound you for not understanding the story immediately, but on my first watch i also had no fucking clue what was going on. actually you guys understood wayyy better than i did despite you guys still missing some key elements of the plot. to be fair i was also 16 when i first watched this and i mainly watched cartoons at that time so cut me some slack.

Sean Carroll

They struggled a lot actually, they only picked up on the easy stuff.

Katelynn Gonzales

In Marley, Eldians are oppressed due to their ability to turn into titians. Punishment for eldians that reside in Marley is to get sent to “paradise” as a pure titan which is the island that our main character live on. The reason the eldians on the main land hate the eldians on the island can only be attributed to the brainwashing/propaganda feed to them via Marly

K

I’m so proud of you guys! Excellent job guessing that Zeke is Monkey Titan and Kruger is the Owl! I always root for you guys to predict things right and this episode you were on fire!

Guillaume Delemos

You guys are getting very good thoughts with the informations you have !

Rex Tan

I remember this guy on the Badd Medicine channel being obnoxious as well. Man just stop and let them enjoy the show regardless if they fully understand everything or not. Attack on Titan is not a test for crying out loud.

Artemipsyche

You guys picked up on way more than I did the first go-round. Pretty spot on, and all the comments above are good summaries.

Luke Fox

100% re-watch this episode, maybe even twice. Everyone should watch this one a couple times because there is far too much to absorb in one go around. However, the details and other information will be fleshed out more in the following episodes.

Sean Carroll

I was always supportive of badd medicine, point out a situation where I called them out the same as I did with triple take here?

Ben Stover

Something that you didn't pickup on that confirms it earlier is that the weird quadraped titan calls Beast Titan 'War Chief Zeke' - you knew his name and could have put it together as soon as you learned Grisha's son's name.

Gabriel Mendez

Lol they think the recap video is only going to be an hour

Boxhibbit

the Owl is just a Titan lol

Boxhibbit

yes so mutch information in thhis episode :)

Sasha
