Mags7

Ya’ll did not start Alice in Borderland! I am so excited to watch your reactions 🫶🏼

kentoff

OMG?? lets go im so hyped for this!!!! and season 3 literally comes out tmr, good timing!

SaltyApple

Holy shit, you guys are gonna love this.

Konner Cragun

This show is great. IMO tho I do think squid games is better. Maybe cuz it’s kinda more realistic but this show is really great and I do believe it deserves to be more popular as well. I think it’s underrated as hell

kwonnie

oMG THE GREATEST SHOW EVER LETS GOOOOO

Rose 267

oh my god! never thought you'll dive into this one! dayum let the rewatch w/ 3T reaction BEGIN!

J_Y_O_T_I

I remember you mentioned that you’d make a suggestions post and a poll before starting the next drama, so I was patiently waiting for that instead of repeatedly recommending shows and pressuring you. That’s why I was a bit surprised to see the new Japanese show start right away. I don’t know if it was suggested by someone or just chosen by you, but I really wanted to share a few dramas I’ve been hoping you’d watch, like "When Life Gives You Tangerine", "Itaewon Class", and "Twinkling Watermelon". I truly enjoy your reactions and trust your choices, but I’d still love if you could consider doing the poll or suggestions post in the future so we can be part of the process too.

elyca

YAYYYY I'M SO EXCITED

SEN

What an unexpected!!!

Alexander Lee

Bro I already love literally every show you guys have been watching so far and then I saw you drop this! You guys are awesome!❤️

Rose 267

Ben holding for dear life with all their questions to not give spoilers

kwonnie

I knew seb would be more of a realism guy lmao… but tbh you guys would get it in s2… it was a pretty awesome ending that ties everything up for me tbh… but then we have s3 so idk anymore 😭 so im hoping yall will keep watching it… i will keep trusting this show i love it sm

Martina

I agree with Seb! Watched Alice in Borderland season 1 in the past and dropped it. Now watching it with you again, hoping to chance my mind for Ben! Ahaha

Martina

I think they choosed themselves. Ben said he wanted to have a grasp on this before season 3 and brought the guys in so...I think they did choose

Hana Eccleston

Alice, in this show, refers to the main character Arisu (his name is spelled how Japanese people pronounce the name Alice). Also, when seb mentioned the lack of realism like how there's suddenly no people and there's seemingly no end to the games or real motive, the closest comparison I can think of is Maze Runner. You'll obviously find out the reason eventually, but at the beginning they show up in the maze one by one with no purpose (in their eyes). I also think this is a great time for y'all to start watching this because season 3 is literally almost out and then that would be a first watch for all three of you. love the transparency with this reaction!

marietty_22

Woooooow! I'm a little shocked right now, but I'm glad you started this series! It's gorgeous! But please don't forget about the kdramas too. I really want to see "Twinkling Watermelon."

armytiny

THIS IS MY FAVORITE NETFLIX SHOW AFTER WEAK HERO! THANK YOU FOR YOUR REACTION

sm220900

ben is literally me watching this ahah this is like the 50th time i've watched it lol

eylul

This is the best show everr💕🎉🎉

yvee

omg goat🔥

★ SAW BTS IN LV

woahh i wasn't expecting you guys to react to PEAK like this?? you're in for a ride! alice in borderland is miles ahead of squid game, soon enough you'll see why; especially in season two. lesgooooooo!!!

peyton

My favorite dynamic here is Ben knowing everything I know since I've also watched seasons 1 and 2, and just keeping it neutral not to spoil anything for Charlie and Seb. sooooo good. I love it.

Beth Edwards

every time I watch this show, I can't help but think about how much Kento looks like Lee Know from StrayKids😭😭

kiwi

i'm with ben on this being better than squid game, its so peak 😭

sm220900

I know seb kept askig who 'alice' is, arisu is actually 'alice' because arisu is how alice is pronounced in japanese

Beth Edwards

Actually, there IS a character called "Alice". "Arisu" is how someone from Japan would say "Alice" (al-i-su). You're going to meet a couple more characters that are similar to those from the Wonderland world, but that doesn't mean the character type is limited to one person. For example, in season 2, there are two characters that represent a cheshire cat in the SAME episode. That also doesn't mean that the character types are always going to be vague, though! Some of them are literally in their name (I'll explain further in later episodes when those characters are introduced), while some of them are based on personality!

sm220900

ben is so me trying not to spoil it lol. just nod and hum just nod and hum ahaha

Lilja Sól

Weak hero class next ep

Pastel Petals

It's not green screen in the city itself. They built a set of a replica of Shibuya station to film this show if you watch the bts. It would be incredibly expensive to shut down that intersection and almost impossible bc of how much people and traffic there is at any given time. You can see how much detail they put into this show to make it as realistic as possible and one of the reasons why it's one of my favorites.

1osaki

this is also one of my most favorite shows ever and i totally think its way better than squid games

Sabrina K

I- didn’t see this coming… I’m waiting for Bloodhounds 🤞🏻

Master Dono

Is Bloodhounds similar to this one?

Master Dono

I think Seb doesn't like isekai concepts lmao. He seems to like realistic stuff a lot more.

Ohoh

YESSSSSS OMGGGGGG. This is 100x BETTER THAN SQUID GAME BTW. CANT WAITTTTTT AHHHHH

Lilja Sól

Squid game and weak hero class soon pls

Fern Edwards

Watched Alice in Borderland a few years back when it came out, having already seen Squid Game season 1, and I agree try separate the two. I can tell Seb is someone who likes to know 'why' but I think Ben put it perfectly that we as a viewer need to be in the shoes of characters thinking how on earth am I here, what's going on, omg imagine I was in this game. just gotta goooo with the flowwww. Just gotta let go of how and dive straight in boys

Fern Edwards

ps. I'm excited for season 3 too so watching it all again with you guys is the perfect refresher!

ARMY.JK

OMG YESSS

Cosmiiicx

THIS IS SO EXCITING, I know you guys will love this show, season 3 is coming out tomorrow so this is gonna be a great watch

gi⁷ ❦

Seb, do you like zombie movies/series? Then you'll definitely LOVE “All of Us Are Dead”, it's a kdrama and it's wonderful

tara

HOLY SHITTT great show choice

tara

ben's face throughout this video was so funny lmao the grin before all the cool scenes because you know what's going to happen 😭😭

tara

also 10000% agreed this is better than squid games,, japanese shows just hit diff

tara

also! seb keep watching!!! this show is so unpredictable, you'll definitely like that aspect of it!!!

ARMY.JK

The uncanny counter nexttt plssss

soleo

Arisu is supposed to be ‘Alice’ the Japanese pronunciation of Alice sounds really similar to Arisu. It’s a common thing with Japanese phonetics: since Japanese doesn’t have the exact same sounds as English, ‘Alice’ becomes ‘Arisu

gi⁷ ❦

i think seb will love “all of us are dead” broooo

yoshi

Arisu (main guy) is Alice, Arisu is the Japanese way to say Alice.

Shadow

Fair enough. Different people have different preferences and that's okay. Personally I fuck with this show. I prefer the game play in this than in the Squid Game.

KeliTTries

Squid Games is also based on true events btw. So very grounded in reality, very the opposite of this. And Seb, I just finally finished season 2 after attempting the show a second time. I originally stopped watching for other reasons, iykyk - but I will say if you power through to the end, there are some really enjoyable characters and the explanations will be satisfying.

Rose 267

For Seb and Charlie: you WILL get the answers, just not right away.

Violet Crush

Exactly the same reason why I prefer Squid Game. I don't think Squid game is the best show to me personally, Squid Game is lowkey overrated but compared to Alice in Wonderland, its more logical and what I could see it happens meanwhile this show is straight up science fiction. The execution is amazing but the game seems way illogical. Its still enjoyable to watch tho.

savesavedmylife

This show isn't as realistic as Squid Game and that's the whole point. It will blur the lines between reality and illusion, it will be soooo trippy and intellectually stimulating. The games here are 1000 times harder than in Squid Game, only the best of the best survive. I love how this show makes you feel like you're part of the games, you will be questioning other players and even main characters. The plot twists will be insane. This show is definitely better than Squid Game and deserves more hype!

spoopyjhope

"squid game is based on true events" is very inaccurate, a very small certain aspect of it is based on real events but 99% of it is purely fictional 😭

Mia_Rose

Was there a poll for this?

Mia_Rose

All should’ve started All of Us Are Dead ✨ Best show everrr

Nessa J.

Yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss thank you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! best show ever

rkiverak

I literally resubscribed just for this (and to finish watching a weak hero and squid game with you guys) xd💗 PD: Please enjoy the series. Many (most) of them don't make sense in real life, but AIB isn't exactly a series based on reality, haha, so just enjoy it 🫶🏽

sim🧚🏻‍♀️

I’M SO HAPPY YOU GUYS STARTED THIS YOU’LL LOVE IT. btw i love how the boys were making theories on it and Ben was just going with it lol

Luke Fox

Back to another episode of Seb complaining about everything he doesn't have the answer to immediately

★ SAW BTS IN LV

im tryna let it slide but im ngl its suuuper annoying lol

Nessa J.

AOT is wayyyyy worse in terms of secrets and things that you get an answer for later in the show, so if you have survived watching AOT, you'll survive watching Alice in Borderland. Also, AOT wasn't realistic at all, so again, if you liked watching it, you'll like watching Alice in Borderland. Otherwise, it does not make sense to use these notions as a justification for not liking Alice in Borderland.

Cece

oooo I'm so excited for this journeyy, I've watched the 2 seasons and love the show. Hoping ya'll get invested whether it be the beginning or end. Definitely will be here for these reactions!

yoshi

No it’s highly requested and Ben wanted them to experience how great it is because season 3 came out today

Chivi Moon 🌙

The main protagonist is called Arisu which in English it translates to Alice. So the male protagonist is called Alice, hence the name Alice in Borderland.

floo

Guys watch ALL OF US ARE DEAD its a zombie kdrama with only 12eps I think Seb would love it

Cortnee Johnstone

I freaking love Alive in borderland, it is a favorite of mine, I do agree the first episode is hardest to get through but I’d say it get more interesting after episode three or four was when I was hooked.

Kiki01

Yesss its such a good series

Dani

Technically arisu is alice

Michael C

I've seen all 3 seasons so far. I'm SO excited to go on this journey again with you guys. I hope Charlie and Seb end up loving it as much as Ben and I do [251111]

Erika Edison

Subscribed because of Squid Game, but I started watching this show because of y’all. I watched it all the way through, and now I’m back rewatching through these vids. I agree with Ben, this show should be WAY more hyped

Erineee

SO arisu is alice, usagi is the white rabbit, Chishiya is the cheshire cat, Takeru danma (AKA hatter) is the Mad hatter

Pratiksha Majee

same happened with me..i have not seen squidd game but i heard alice in borderland was abt survival games and then the first episode nothing was happening and I dropped it. Then months later I watched it and sat through ep 1 and good lord was I instantly hooked by the end of ep 1 and loved this show so much.

Pratiksha Majee

Guys plzz watch Happiness when you can. It is kind of a zombie drama too..they have different explanation but essentially a zombie drama and I think you all will love that drama.

PIjjawow02

OMG yes alice in borderland is better than squid game, and honestly ben idk how you can sit there and not give a single spoiler or reaction to what is going to happen next. Good job tho 😂😂

Bangchansrailroad

Alice in borderland, best series! This’ll be my third time watching it. I watched it myself and then watched with Nigel (he’s my profile pic) and now with you guys.
