Suho didn't care abt social media. It was Yeong-i who followed herself from Suho's phone, just like she previously did with Sieun - adding her own contact on his phone when she dragged Sieun for dinner.. That scene was subtle but it tells you a lot abt her character and motivations.

21:40 this scene is deceptively chill, but there’s a lot going on under the surface. you can see suho’s protective instincts kicking in, when he paused before he asked him to “don’t hit them, just run” …

knowing sieun lack experience, as much as he has a lot of fire in him to fight back, he is basically saying, get the first hit, then gtfo before you get destroyed. Arrghh I love Suho.

I get why some people first blame the girl for Beom-seok’s actions since she suddenly joined the group and feels more like a plot device, but she really did nothing wrong. She barely knew Beom-seok — the only mistake was picking up his phone, and even that wasn’t out of bad intent. Beom-seok himself is a complex character. Soo-ho is my favorite too, but unlike Si-eun, he’s less perceptive of Beom-seok’s emotions. He notices something’s off but doesn’t understand it the way Si-eun does, since Soo-ho is more straightforward than empathetic.

Beomseok always tries to use money to build friendships, but he can’t tell the difference between people who actually care about him and those who just care about his money. For example, he doesn’t notice that Suho genuinely likes him as a friend and even offers to pay for their meal instead of letting Beomseok do it like usual. This kind of thing happens a lot in the series—characters know how to show love, care, or vulnerability, but they struggle to see it when others show it to them.

Si-eun in real life is such a bubbly person. If u guys are into survival shows I recommend you to watch produce 101 season 2 park ji-hoon (si-eun) is a participant and that's where he became an idol. And also a fun fact, his role model is V and they've been gaming buddies :)) He is a great actor and all his dramas as so worth it to watch hehe.

This episode shows how years of abuse, bullying, and feeling inferior twisted Beom Seok’s mindset, making him see himself as an outsider. The contrast is clear—his real friends tried to guide him, while the new ones pushed him to lose himself. It was heartbreaking to watch, especially knowing Shi Eun tried to reach him, but in the end, Beom Seok gave in to the darkness built up inside him.

You have to remember I think with Su-hos reaction to him crashing out is how he reacts to everything. He’s not the type of guy to talk things out he immediately resolves things with violence. He’s the macho guy while as si-eun is the loner who can stand up for himself and bum-Seok is been bullied at home was bullied at school and he sees these two friends and he’s insecure

the crashout at the end is so real, we all felt that fr😭 Beomseok is such a well written and complex character, also about the part were suho snapped while he and beomseok were fighting, im pretty sure it was because beomseok said "do i have to pay you again?" this got to suho a lot because he struggles with money and beomseoks paid him previously for helping sieun. Love that you guys are so invested, cant wait for the next ep!!

This is such a good show, Im ngl I would put it TOP 1 of my list and right under that would be BLOOD HOUNDS, that's another show similar action, not really bullying but serious asf and just SO GOOD YAL HAVE TO WATCH- there's only 1 season with 8 or 10 episodes i think.

i loveeeee how invested you are in this show!! and honestly i agree with all that you say. it's such an emotional roller coaster and they do a great job at portraying how each character would realistically react (maybe with a tinge of drama, because it is a drama after all). beomseok is an epitome of hurt people hurt people. i don't condone what he did but i can totally understand his actions. suho is very earnest and straightforward, and maybe to a fault. he's pretty much acting like a teenage boy. although that first anger he directed at beomseok i believe is because beomseok made it sound like suho's friendship can be bought and money's a bit of a touchy subject for him who's struggling financially. while sieun's definitely a very empathetic person, but he struggles to express is properly because they're his first real friends and he hasn't had a lot of social interactions in the past. i just love this show and i'm glad to see you guys enjoy it too!!! i'm so happy to rewatch it with you guys and i can't wait to see the rest of the reactions btw the suit looks really good on charlie!

Agree. I really feel bad for Beomseok if you put yourself in his shoes. Suho is a very logical guy, he's not really into emotion. For example, he just sees 1+1=2, like for example when B was telling them about his bullies, Suho was like bet call them and we'll take care of it. Sieun understands Beom through more of an emotional POV so Suho is completely blindsided by B because he is not seeing what B has been through and hasn't been observant of him nor his emotions, he just thinks ok we will do this and boom everything will get fixed, etc, just very logical of a guy. Beomseok is very broken and with all he's been through, he's just crashing out and trying to finally be in control of his life rather than being controlled by anyone else and unfortunately projecting onto Suho.

Since y’all obviously can’t really say if you enjoyed a beat down or not, I’m gonna do it for you. I FULLY enjoyed every second of beomseok beating the shit out of his bullies. Life is not sunshine and rainbows. Sometimes you have to beat someone’s ass to save yourself and that’s just what it is and he did what he needed to do and it brought a huge smile to my face can’t lie.🙂

And I don’t believe him hitting back or hitting in general is making him a bully. It’s just a person that has gone through way too much and is fed up and the people that have inflicted that pain onto him deserve to feel the same. It’s not like he’s going around tormenting people that are weaker than him to feel stronger. He’s going after the people that are giving him issues. A conversation would’ve never worked in this situation as we can see because when they try to do the whole conversation route, the bullies still tried to track him down to hurt him again. In my eyes beomseok is justified

Beom-seok is flipping on his friends for a few reasons. Suho didn’t follow him back on Instagram but followed a girl he just met, while his classmates suddenly cared about his Instagram after hearing about the fight. Plus, Gilsu called him a coward and a lackey during the scene where the lawyer was yelling him to hit him, which fed into his insecurity that his friends only use him because he buys things for them. On top of that, he’s dealing with abuse from his dad, so all of it’s boiling over.

There’s no clear scene of Suho deliberately following Yeong-i on Instagram. What the show suggests (without spelling it out) is that Yeong-i used Suho’s phone to follow herself, similar to how she added her number into Sieun’s phone without asking. :)

Even though I always viewed it like it was intented to have queer subcontext, especially from sieun's perspective (if you read the webtoon it's quite obvious), the director did not say they were in love, maybe what he said was lost in translation but what he said is that the bond he created between them has the format of a melodrama, kind of how first love is portrayed in shows, just to show you that they were both each others soulmates and they were both each others first close bond. either platonically or romantically but that's up to the viewer's representation.

It seemed pretty clear to me what they were talking abt tho and i dont think anything was lost in translation. the conversation started with suhos actor explaining how his character mightve felt looking at sieun, and the director said something abt suho being in love, then he was gonna explain himself but he said nevermind and after that he said that actually since some time has passed since the first season i think i can say this now but we discussed it being more like a melo for the two actors and thats when suhos actor says that it was a highschool love story/highschool romance but stops in the middle after looking around and says oh i think i should stop. i dont think they would be so hesitant to say it if they werent talking abt that considering how south korea views homosexuality. other than that theyve called sieun suhos first love like twice, once during the press conference and once during their reaction to season 2. this is exactly what happened and im gonna take it as that. if u want the source of what im talking abt its in the "homecoming GV weak hero class 1 press conference" where they're wearing mostly black at around the timestamp 34:07. It happened on the same day as the weak hero class 2 press conference.

Seb always had accurate takes in Weak Hero! 🙌🏻 Yep I agree with you too - Beom-seok as in "likes" likes Suho. And his jealousy was seething so wrong. All fairness to Yeong-i, she's just an overly hyped extrovert. Plus she's used to being around boys when she was still in the gang. She's not really romantically involved with them, she's just friendly. Beom-seok seriously needs help with his insecurity issues, because he's clearly dealing with it the wrong way 😩🥺

13:11 The 3 vs. 4 cans: Beom Seok usually buys 3, which reflects his ordinary, predictable rhythm with Suho and Sieun. By buying 4 ( the last one being a different one - the blue/white can) , signals that something is different - there’s an extra thought, an extra person. Him hesitating about it shows his resistance. That one can of drink left behind (the green/white can which is the same as the other 2 meant for suho & sieun) is a visual representation of him feeling “extra” but also excluded . I think this scene shows Beom Seok’s growing insecurity and awareness of change in this friendship. It’s a tiny act that communicates his emotional state without words: he’s trying to navigate belonging, jealousy, and self-restraint all at once.

Okay to this is an older reaction so I'm not even sure why I'm commenting but I needed to pop in and defend Suho here, haha. About when he snapped during his fight with Beomseok, they've shown from the very beginning how important making and saving money is for Suho. He literally works all night long, after school, before school, on the weekends. As much as he loves his friends, they honestly can't relate to him on that front at all, but he doesn't hold that against him. Whenever he's treating them to a meal or spending time with them instead of working, that's actually an expression of his loyalty and love for them. During their argument Beomseok looked down on that by trying to devalue the worth of the sacrifice that Suho made by skipping work to help him but saying that he'll just pay him for it and doesn't have to be thankful, as if to call Suho a paid thug, in a way, or cheapen the moment that it was. Now, I know that Beomseok was hurting so he was just trying to insult Suho and was saying anything to hurt him too, but at the end of the day, it was disrespectful and hurtful, and it was coming from someone that Suho sees as a friend. Suho isn't perfect, and you can't forget, there's a lot about Beom's suffering that we can see and understand as viewers, but because he isn't opening up about it, Suho and Sieun actually don't know. And about the instagram following thing, they showed after Beom was stalking Suho's IG that Suho was busy watching videos about making money in between part time jobs. He didn't get an IG banner notif, which implies that he honestly isn't on it that much. All of those photos that Beom were looking at with the girl were on her page, not Suho's. Also, those bullies didn't do anything glorious by following Beom back because he actually told them to. I don't know if you all noticed but Beom never asked Suho to follow him back, the show showed him delete that text so he never sent it. So knowing Suho's character, knowing that we've never even seen him on IG, chances are he didn't even know. If Beom would have asked him to follow him back, he would have. He needed to open up to his friends instead of saying he's fine and building up so much jealousy and resentment.
