LMAOO yeah I understand Seb, he just wants to be shocked and have something for him to look forward to instead of knowing what's gonna happen already, and to him that prediction being right every time is boring for him. Overall he just likes shows that are unpredictable. Thing with Squid Game S2 right now Seb is you saw S1 so you know small things that are going to be true, the main point of the show are the games and small things like how the people think and will do are going to be predictable because they are human and we are human, so we are going to be able to predict minor things. Imagine if something logical didn't happen, then people would be like tf why didn't this person DO this. However S2 will def have certain twists and stuff. Overall I get your point though but for some people even if they do predict right they still like watching their prediction happen, I guess you don't and same as well, I like something to keep me going, especially at the end of each episodes like if something interesting doesn't happen and keep me on the edge then I will lose interest. Omg the ending and yal's faces HAD ME DEADDD HAHAHAHHA, it was so perfect after that debate yal had LOL.

I’m with Ben and Charlie here , like yes you can predict a lot of stuff but it’s literally meant to be predicted? Like the voting , it is more realistic for the players to choose to play because people are greedy . And if every thing is “unpredictable” there wouldn’t be any logic at all

They did show the voting to show how people are. You seen the people who vote X, they value their life no matter how much debt they are in. And then you see the people who voted O. Some of them are in debt, some are probably in danger outside the games. I don’t judge a single person who voted O just cuz everyone has their own problems and some is worst then others.

Glad you guys are enjoying! Shoutout to Thanos (TOP of BIGBANG) there’s also a star studded cast this season after the success of season 1 Also… on predictability I agree Ben / Charlie. I get Seb’s point that if it becomes ‘easy’ to watch a show to the point it’s boringly predictable maybe.. but this isn’t that show. Like Charlie said it’s a human show written by humans following logic and at the end of the day it’s storytelling and people’s LIVES. It’s a reflection of their hardships. It’s a long vote to look into the characters and how they vote and build up the tension and frustration of Gi-Hun End of the day not everything has to be a ‘twist’ I think remember this is a show about humans, I say like Ben said it’s best to not overthink and go with the flow! All episodes build part of the story and foundation Charlie’s spot on! Sit back and enjoy and try not the ‘predict’ too much for the ‘i told you so’ moments just enjoyyyy the ride 🩷👏 I think saying this show is ‘disappointing’ puts a downer on the reaction especially for the fans excited to see you watch so just yeah try enjoy and sit back and take it in TRUST THE PROCESS

I know what Seb meant... He didn't directly or indirectly said that this show is not good because it's predictable... He said it generally. He meant for him personally that the excitement is gone when the same thing happens in the show that you predicted.... Common, when you predict something and it actually happens, then you guys say "I knew it, I fuc*ing knew it" lol. But when something unpredictable happens (you never thought that this could happen), it makes it even better. I mean look at their faces at the end. That's what Seb meant.... I could relate to that. Well, I also think that any show can't be standing on every person's expectations. If you could predict it, doesn't mean every else could, so the same boring part could be thrilling for the other person. It solely depends on you mind. I think Seb is really smart that he always predicts correctly. Just like in Alice In Borderland, when Arisu's friends died, we all were shocked, because we all might've thought they're gonna survive. Made it even better and interesting to know what's gonna happen next. Same thing with Bloodhounds.... DAMNN, I LOVE THIS TRIO MAN. Keep Going guys.

I’m so late to this reaction. But i just wonder the most inconvenient things in situations like red light/green light. I was thinking imagine you had the worst stomach ache and had the bubble guts or really had to go pee. And you got shot for not being able to hold it because it’s still considered you moving. One of the most embarrassing way to die in these games in my opinion would be to get swiss-cheesed for literally crapping and/or pissing your pants. 😩😭

I reckon what Seb meant, at least from my interpretation, was that inherently the main plot points that a show is built on, obviously have to occur to give it a solid foundation, for example a main character surviving, the villan unergoing a eventual downfall etc. That isn't something you would predict as an outcome because it's not something you would ever expect to change. However, when a show presents a situation and you are more than positive of a certain outcome, it loses a bit of the anticipation from "Okay are they going to do this or this?" and that's mainly because the greedy nature of the players have already been so fleshed out in season 1, that you would ultimately guess, "Yeah they are obviously going to continue the games," which doesn't really provide, as Seb said, much shock value as compared to if the games were to end and then the show was to take a unpredictable turn. Of course, the players would likely go back to play, which would be predictable as they did in season 1 and necessary to see an end to the games, but the journey leading them there and the subsequent events would not be the same in season 1, allowing for higher engagement.
