I’ve been so excited for y’all to post your reaction to episode 18! Zenitsu is such a good character in this series. The screaming and shrill-ness is absolutely a lot to handle and think so is entirely valid. But the mangaka of the Demon Slayer manga wrote him to be that way and the voice actors (both Japanese and English) carried how Zenitsu is written as a character in this first bit so well. He does get astronomically less screechy from here on out, though there are pockets of it still happening, just so you’re aware. He truly has such an interesting backstory in how he ended up training for the demon slayer corps and you will absolutely see more of that in future episodes and the movies. But your takes on him are entirely valid, and that is how he was written and how the mangaka intended to have him perceived 😊

I felt the same way about Zenitsu! The screaming almost turned me off from the show as a whole so I think your feeling are valid! I’d say you’re on the other side of the hill

MiMi

love it! hope you can react and upload the next episode (19) asap its gonna be amazing!

Can't wait for the next episode!! 💜

Crazy to think that I used to be like Seb with Zenitsu when I first watched it. 😭 He will grow on you guys! But I can definitely understand how all the constant screaming can throw you off. Loved this reaction! I was waiting for this episode, so thank you guys for the hard work. 🩵 Tomioka is one of my favorite anime characters of all time; I can’t wait till you guys see more his abilities and meet the butterfly girl!

So excited for the next episode, and let's give you guys a little hint about how the next episode-19 changed the anime industry back then in 2019 when it aired. * Demon slayer won Anime of the Year in 2020 * The show trended number 1 worldwide on Twitter for hours * it broke the servers of some streaming websites * It became the most talked-about episode of the year * Turned Demon Slayer into a mainstream hit Thank you Seb for mentioning how good the animation was this episode, because you won’t see animation at that level in other shows. It's just that GOOD.

OMGGG I WANT THE NEXT EPISODE SO MUCH

CuteBean

I just tought of an anime that you should absolutely watch (But only after you have finished ine or two shows) My Hero Acadamia. It's an amazing anime.

Artemipsyche

Omg I need the next episode STAT 🔥 🔥

Monooo

Omg I've forgotten how brutal these cliffhangers get😭😭 like every episode makes it harder to wait for the next drop

Amos Koh

Aint seen nothing yet hahahahaha

eva

I wanna explain smth you've mentioned. Since this is a demon family which has a Twelve Kizuki, they cannot "just want to live in peace without killing". As we've seen before with the demon that used to be a Twelve Kizuki in the mansion, you have to have killed a big number of people to be able to be a part of the rank and have these powers, since Muzan controls the ranks.

eva

Uhhhh so excited for the next episode🙌🙌

Yanna 😛

Damn I’m going to miss these episodes, I leave for the military in 9 days, on the bright side I can binge watch. Great reaction!

Mia_Rose

Pleaseeee start doing 2 episodes in one, it would be so much better

Saurx

Legit was thinking the same thing lol, that and re:zero I feel they would like

J-Lee

"What a cool way to kill someone bruh, I love thisss!" 😭 What have we become, Charlie? 🤣😂😆

J-Lee

Oh wow, wishing you the best 🙏🏻🫶🏻💜

J-Lee

That's 150+ episodes so yeah it'll take about 3 yrs before they can finish it 😅

J-Lee

Demon Slayer is 🔥🔥🔥

~A

And those theories at the end killed me. Their imagination got creepy for a moment. 🤣

Monooo

Ooh My Hero totally seems like their style and it could be nice change of pace, they've been mostly watching pretty dark shows so it'd be cool to see what they think of it!

CuteBean

if you say it like that it does seem daunting, but if they watch it in seasons and maybe take a break in between it may not seem as long. And they did watch attack on titan which also has quite a lot of episodes.

~A

it never gonna happen XD

ayenita

It's funny you didn't like zenitsu screaming, and luckily you didn't get it this episode. But you were pretending the whole time how he's gonna react on all situations.

KONEKTOR

eps 19 will be fire
