Keep in mind that Gojo is the strongest sorcerer of the modern age, one of the strongest ever. He makes his fights look easy. These special grade curses are really strong. They usually have to be jumped. Nanami is a 1st grade sorcerer with no domain expansion. The only special grade sorcerers you know of are Gojo, Geto, Yuki, and Yuta.

Toji Fushiguro is Megumi’s biological father. He left the Zenin clan and had no cursed energy. He planned to sell Megumi to the clan, but in the end Megumi wasn’t sold because Gojo took him in. Naobito Zenin is Toji’s uncle and Megumi’s great-uncle, as well as the head of the Zenin clan

You have to keep in mind that a special grade sorcerer is way more rare than a special grade curse so even if most first grade sorcerers can potentially defeat a special grade curse, they tend to do it in packs and it’s not usually special grade curse calamities. It’s gonna be a tough journey ahead but hopefully they pull through.

Just because they're rarer doesn't mean they're weaker, they're weaker because they happen weaker than the current special grade humans, but the jjk grading scale purposely fails after 1st grade, to show they're an entire class above the rest. On the grading scale special is marked parallel to both humans and curses. Nice larp tho
