You guys are wondering about the husband Do-yeong? First, he's a chaebol, and they run Korea basically. Family-controlled industrial conglomerate that originated in the 60s with government support. They dominate the South Korean economy. With that said, Do-yeong can't just pick a side like the rest of us. He has to think about his image, his company, his reputation. The good thing is, he seems like a decent human being and he's smart. Yeo-jeong is also a chaebol. Also filthy rich and family owned Hospital etc. I suppose Jae-joon is one too but he doesn't seem to be as influential as the other two.

Ms. Kang wasn't Yeon-jin's maid. She never met her. She was the school director's maid. That's whose trash Dong-eun was going through and assembling the shredded paper. From that she found out that his driver was his lover and he was in his will and she threatened to tell his children about him. That's how she got the job being Ye-sol's teacher.

1 quick note to clarify, Hyun Nam didn't work for Yeon Jin. She worked for the person that Dong Eun blackmailed to get her job at the school. But things are getting more intense! Enjoying your reactions so far and not to worry about not picking up all the details. There are lots of things that watching this again I'm like oh wow missed that or that makes more sense. 🙂 Also a quick shout out to these actors. They're so incredible. Do Young especially is doing so much with his facial expressions not even always speaking you still feel what he is going through. And yes, the 1 line I'd so hoped the whole time the bullies (it doesn't even feel sufficient to call them that, they're torturers really) hadn't crossed they did. I was so heartbroken when we find out that So Hee was pregnant.

Idk if u guys know this but the actor for yeon Jin and the actor for the doctor ( can’t remember his name) but they are dating in real life. Not 100% sure but I’m pretty sure they met on this show and started dated in 2023

I also wanted to add as well the “don’t get caught” bit. It brought back what Hye-jeong mentioned when she spoke about Do-yeong vs Jae-jun. how quickly the mom agreed. They’re all from money and privilege. I always forget but that moment made me remember.

I feel dumb asf granted the actress does no look like she in the same age bracket. I never understood why dough was giving her cold shoulder
