clicked on this shit so fast

It's TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIME

Nash

Mai took Makis remaining cursed energy when she died and removed the, "shared soul" limitation of twins that fully allowed her to achieve a body on par with Toji because of the no cursed energy heavenly pact.

P

It's also such good writing and bringing things full circle when Maki and Mai's mom kill Naoya by stabbing him in the back, because in episode 1 of this season, Naoya was talking about how Maki is useless had said something about how "if a woman can't follow and stand behind her man, she deserves to be stabbed in the back and killed", which is exactly how Naoya was killed, and by a woman no less.

so glad you guys are loving season 3!!! and yes, tabling a motion means that the final decision has been suspended or postponed

Legacy

The moment where Maki walks over holding Jinichi Zenin’s head and casually tosses it into the water is crazy if you understand how the power system works 😭 Ranta Zenin (the guy with the eye technique who was holding Maki down) says “You did it, Jinichi” right after Maki takes that whole barrage of punches from Jinichi. The reason he says that is because Maki has no cursed energy, so Ranta can’t sense her at all. and he cant see her because he was blinded during the fight. So when he feels cursed energy getting closer, he assumes Jinichi finished her and is walking toward him. But what he’s actually sensing is Jinichi’s cursed energy getting closer because Maki is carrying Jinichi’s head toward him 😭😭 crazy.

Andrew

This will help them understand heaps

one of my favs this season !!!

Legacy

Naoya Zenin’s technique is so sick. — if he wasn’t embarrassed to use a weapon, he’d be insane lol. The anime explained his technique super technically, so here’s an easy way to understand how he moves so fast: Projection Sorcery lets him split one second into 24 planned movements. if those movements include acceleration, he ends the second moving faster than he started. Then he does it again from that new speed, stacking acceleration every second. That’s why he moves insanely fast, fast enough to tear through rocky terrain and cover huge distances in the blink of an eye.

Mai basically gave all her cursed energy to Maki, by taking it away upon her death, and that allowed Maki to reach her full potential. Mai's existence limited Maki's Heavenly Restriction, so Mai sacrificed her life to remove the remaining cursed energy, freeing Maki to become a completely void-of-energy sorcerer similar to Toji. Also, at the end, when her mom kills Naoya, she was the one to do it because it was like the end of the misogynistic clan, and that's when she said she was finally proud of giving birth to her because she ended it all. Naoya also reaped what he sowed because, not sure if you remember, but in episode 1, he said any woman who can't walk 3 steps behind her man should be stabbed in the back, and that's exactly how he met his end.

DarkHorse24

Maki always had the heavenly pact but it didn’t fully realize because her twin had little cursed energy. We learn that jujutsu basically views twins as one person so maki’s heavenly pact was basically weak due to Mai’s cursed energy being present. Once Mai sacrificed herself and made the sword for maki, her heavenly pact finally fully activated and she became just as strong as Toni.

When this episode dropped, everyone went ballistic because of how good it was

Dreamknight942

To keep it simple, Mai had cursed energy, Maki is Mai’s twin, in the JJK world cursed energy views Twins as the same person. So Maki’s pact was incomplete as she always had a small amount of cursed energy in the form of Mai. Now without Mai she has Zero, and is the same as Toji. Also Mai did create a sword for Maki upon her death, it didn’t increase Maki’s power physically but is an impressive weapon. It may look a little familiar

One anime that is good to watch in English dub is Death note, hopefully we'll get it in next poll

Maki is now Toji, yes sirrr, Toji would be proud

Pixyl

One thing to note is heavenly pacts can't be made by people. They are applied to someone upon their birth without their consent. Toji and Maki were born with their heavenly restrictions but Maki's was incomplete due to Mai essentially holding back her full potential. This is because they were twins, so Jujutsu see's them as one individual in a way. With Mai's death, Maki cast off all her cursed energy and became complete.

Agreeeee

Katu

dropping the reaction to this episode on international women's day is cinema indeed... maki ended a whole clan full of misogynistic dudes, she's the coolest female character for a reason

Saha

Recable

Hi, is it possible for you guys to react to Avatar the Last Airbender and then Avatar the Legend of Korra afterwards?

zuzu

"She is the clan" that one line is so hard
