One of my favorite switch ups from one episode to the other is Higuruma. When Yuji first met him last episode, Higuruma asked him “have you ever killed someone who pissed you off? It felt good, didn’t it?” And then at the end of this episode when he and Yuji are sitting down, he asks Yuji “have you ever willingly killed someone? It felt awful didn’t it?” I think that not only was it so good for someone to tell Yuji that what happened in Shibuya was this fault (even if he still feels that it is), Higuruma was also able to process some things of his ow and him meeting Yuji allowed him to do that. Higuruma is such a fantastic and interesting character and this episode and the last part of the last episode are so so good.

Itadori couldn’t ask for another retrial since he pleaded guilty for the shibuya incident and judgeman only allows 2 retrials for those who don’t plead guilty

yesss this episode was amazing! it was a perfectly done combination of fight scenes w peak animation and relevant, emotionally significant backstory

Btw he doesnt get last retrail becouse he admitted he was guilty, you only can retrail if u deny

And yeah that was definitely a healing episode for Itadori, It hits different when someoen who is close to you says something wasn't your fault (most of the times they are just trying to comfort you) vs when a stranger says it, plus here it's not just a stranger, dude is literally a lawyer and says he's innocent
