the show is building up to the movies. you're basically less than halfway through Demon Slayer with season 3.

Demon Slayer still has two upcoming movies, one in 2027 and the other in 2029. After this arc, there will be the Hashira Training Arc then first movie (the Infinity Castle movie). Then there will be the second and third movies.

In general I like how hard the fights are like they’re always on the verge of dying. It just makes it feel more real and their win feels more earned. Also unpopular opinion, I love the aggressive guy you talked about the Wind Hashira, Sanemi Shinazugawa.

I feel like the fact that they wait so long between each episode doesn’t help, especially considering that the fight scenes ARE long which in my opinion isn’t as bad as it seems since the episodes are so short. Like Seb said it seems fast but at the same time so slow and i think thats because the episodes themselves are fast and short but the gap between episode watching is what makes it so long. Since watching it with these guys, I admit, Demon slayer has felt soooo long. In my humble opinion it’s a show to be somewhat binged.

Like so many comments have said, the show is really good at building this “repetition” so that when they do throw a twist in it doesn’t just shock you but rather dumbfounds you😭😭

As others have said, the Infinity Castle movie is one of three that will be out. So y’all have this season with Muichiro and Mitsuri and then next season. Everything builds up to the Infinity Castle and the subsequent two movies which will be out in coming years. So after you guys finish season 4, there are no more episodic “seasons”, but rather the full length movies. Unless they also have the movies as episodes like they did with Mugen Train where there was the movie if you wanted to watch it as one feature or broken up episodically. But after next season, there are no more “seasons” of the show.

Once you get know his backstory you kinda start feeling for him, but tbh I can't blame people for dislaking him, that first introduction was kinda rough xD

Yeah his introduction seemed pretty harsh. He was meant to be disliked at first I guess. I never disliked him. And I don’t blame him for stabbing Nezuko. From his point of view as a demon slayer who has never seen a single friendly demon before, he did what needed to be done. It was only us viewers that knew Nezuko as friendly because we have seen her from the very first episode. And he just didn’t blindly believe what he was told he went for a direct proof. So he tested her himself and stabbed her because demons show their true nature when they’re hurt.
