Just a suggestion, please consider if possible. All of these shows are ones which should be in the must-watch list. But would be highly appreciated if we watch something happy, light hearted and feel good, both for TripleTake and us. We have already watched a lot of angst, thrillers and action now, so would be great to have a switch up.. Extraordinary Attorney Woo Young Woo, Waikiki Season 1, Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo or something like that..

I feel like a lot of people are not taking into account something that 3 guys would enjoy seeing. When life gives you tangerines should not be their next show in my opinion. Crash landing on you is a classic and I think they would love it, Happiness is a phenomenal show, so underrated and I think they would really enjoy it. Mr. plankton is also great if they want to see Woo Do Hwan again and all of us are dead I think they would really like as well. All the shows on this list are good, but the ones with the highest ranks aren’t necessarily shows I think that they will find amazing. My husbands first drama was crash landing into you and he cried for days ( and he never cries) and that show offers both sad and happy moments. Not nearly as heavy as the shows they have been watching if they want something in the middle.

But the genre of WLGYT is quite literally slice-of-life; the show itself is catered towards slower pacing and that emphasis on the “simple” moments - I love the show, but I don’t think TripleTake would like it. The other kdramas you referenced (squid game and bloodhounds) are dominated by action so the “emotional moments” is complementary to that. If they go with a show that is less intense in tone, I would rather they opt for something more digestible (ie, more lighter and coherent/easy to follow plot-wise ) and less heavy handed than WLGYT.

Mild spoilers: Something I’d like to add is, AOUAD is a zombie show. Last time these guys reacted to Korean zombie content was Train to Busan. I think they had mixed feelings on that and in general, I think they have high expectations for zombie-oriented content (cause the West does produce very good zombie entertainment). Frankly I have zero faith that TripleTake will appreciate AOUAD because the characters in that show do act in pretty dumb ways a lot. It’s still a great show but I honestly think it’ll burn out the guys from watching more kdramas.

Bro I hate polls b/c people always just choose the most popular dramas, instead of thinking what would make enjoyable content for reactors and viewers. I’ve said this on other videos too, but I still think TripleTake would appreciate WLGYT more later on. It hits harder when you’re more familiar with Korean culture. My vote is Crash Landing on You. absolutely agree! I also want to add - and this was said by another subscriber on a different reaction channel - that it seems a lot of the subscribers are newer to kdramas (hence the popularity votes in shows like WLGYT, AOUAD, TW). I find it a little bit unfortunate for TripleTake because they’re missing out on the kdramas which defined the Korean Wave (like CLOY, Goblin, Descendnts of the Sun etc); like the classics which are near-universally well-regarded and also some of the best representatives of kdramas overall.

I get why people feel that way, but this drama is more than just one actor. It’s a fictional story that a lot of people genuinely love and connect with. It would be nice to let others enjoy it without that being brought into everything.

I feel like twinkling watermelon is a good balance for you guys! Still has some heavy scenes and gripping moments, but is overall a more lighthearted story. + the cast is amazing. Honestly, none of the shows listed are bad, but it might get a bit draining to constantly do thrillers.
