Precious Idowu

I think when life gives u tangerines would be best, it has a lot of emotion and the plot line is amazing and I think they would really connect to it

Kiwi

i agree, i liked this show but they would absolutely hate it and find it corny or annoying

Μαριαλενα Νστ'

Also they said they want more romcoms and they already reacted to some heavy and emotional stuff so idk why some of you are suggesting when life gives you tangerines😭

emma joy

christina

Moving, The Uncanny Counter, Lovely Runner, Shop For Killers, Kingdom and Mouse are all ones i think you'd like!

min pd

Alchemy of Souls!!!!

Luv_em77

Marry my husband is a really good kdrama. It’s also a past/future tense and it has a BTS reference that’s crucial to the plot 😅 It will definitely make you feel so many emotions and it’s worth it! Other recommendations: Study group, Taxi driver, The good bad mother, Vigilante, Death’s game, High School return of a gangster, The judge from hell, Extraordinary you…

Zil Xkillu

Agent Kim Reactivated Mercy for none Weightlifting fairy Extraordinary attorney woo

ckive

TWENTY FIVE TWENTY ONE AND WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU TANGERINES!!!!!!!

K-DRAMA RECOMMENDATIONS 1. VINCENZO 2. AGENT KIM REACTIVATED 3. THE UNCANNY COUNTER (THEY HAVE 2SEASONS I THINK?) 4. MY DEMON (FANTASY & A LIL BIT OF ROMCOM) 5. TALE OF THE NINE TAIL (FANTASY & A LIL BIT OF ROMCOM TOO) THERE ARE MOREEEE BUT YOU SHOULD WATCH THIS FIRST

Kiwi

crnrds

Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo

Kiwi

MY DEMON

Trinity_Eris05

Yesss a bit of everything with the comedy too!!

Snoop

This is just an option but do what you pleased but do you think we can do like one k-drama and one anime. It feels like it takes forever to finish them. I think this would make it easier to keep up and finish them faster! Also really puts our attention on one show at a time. 😌🤍

Kiwi

Yesssss

Zy Zizi

WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU TANGERINE.... THE LEAD ACTRESS IS IU. THE BEST KDRAMA EVER

Selina Rojo

Omg yes to both but I don’t think they will like True Beauty lol

2203

How about giving a period drama a try? I highly recommend Mr. Sunshine - it’s really well made.

Stormi

When life gives you tangerines

Kiwi

as much as i love v, that show was objectively bad… probably not that great to recommend lol

ZZZZ777

WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU TANGERINESS 🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊

The Manipulated is described as a psychological revenge thriller. I have never been more excited to see someone get what they deserved!!! This has everything I know Triple Take would like!!!

I get that truly to some extent but let’s give them a break from heavy stuff they will surely react to it some other time😭 romcoms and historic kdramas time please😭

catalina

IPURPLEYOU

"THE WONDERFOOLS" AND "THE TRAUMA CODE HEROES ON CALL"

Hannah

Simone⁷

Exactly! I feel like its more intense without the romance aspect

Selina Rojo

Yesss they need to react to all of these

William

When life gives you tangerines 🍊

Luv_em77

It’s not a kdrama but maybe Physical 100?? Not sure if you guys would like it but it’s very entertaining. There’s 2 seasons and there’s Physical 100: Asia, where different countries compete. Definitely recommend 😌 Maybe some movies as well. I recommend 20th Century Girl & Even if this love disappears tonight.

Hannah

PLEASE JUST 1 ROMANCE AND 1 REGULAR IF WE’RE GONNA DO THAT, NO SAME KIND TWICE PLEASE

Katie V

I’ve been recommending this, YESSSS!!

Bernice

I've never watched Doh Kyungsoo before. Holy Moly. I was genuinely terrified of him. No way!!! That is D.O. from EXO? HE can sing, dance and act like that?!?

IPURPLEYOU

"THE WONDERFOOLS" AND “THE TRAUMA CODE HEROES ON CALL"

catalina

i've been a fan of kyungsoo since 2013 because of him being in exo but seeing him in this was completely different and i was a little scared of him 😭

Jeonnpatt.yy

Guys I don’t think they would enjoy “wlgyt” just because it’s very detailed and they don’t have the attention span for it 🤣 ( no hate or mean to offend)

Bernice

2521 for sure!!!

Bernice

Business Proposal

G. A

MARRY MY HUSBAND!! 👌🏻

Ann

"Moving"

Jess

The Wonderfools or Study Group (same universe as Teach You a Lesson).

BTSAU-CM

Crash Landing on You - since you guys have been begging for a rom com

Bernice

The Manipulated for sure!!!

BTSAU-CM

2521 and When Life Gives You Tangerines are AMAZING but very “real life emotion” based so can get a little heavy

Bernice

Agent Kim Reactivated for sure!!!

BTSAU-CM

Lovely Runner - one of the most fun rom coms, to me at least lol

G. A

My suggestion for TT: Do 1 romcom and 1 with some accion / fantasy

Vimx

Dear X!!!

jjangji

SWEET HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eveliina

Extraordinary attorney woo, My demon , Choi Wooshik's kdrama Our beloved summer, Bon appetit your Majesty, Destined with you 💜

Jazz⟭⟬⁷

yeah he played his role too good i was genuinely shook

evita

Queen of Tears its really good production and awesome cast Other than last years news thats ongoing but would love for you guys to react to it without that affecting your perspective

evita

Also Happiness Park huyshik (v's friend ) is in it its a really good zombie movie but with sweet love story for sure

Bernice

1. 2521 2. Agent Kim Reactivated 3. The Manipulated 4. Lovely Runner 5. Business Proposal Because I was so bothered by The Scandal, I decided to watch Hometown Cha Cha Cha for a breather. I couldn't get into Extraordinary Attorney Woo for some reason. Maybe the wrong timing, but I think I need a break from really sad dramas like WLGYT.

Eveliina

Yes , our beloved summer 💜

Bernice

I'll have to look at the poll because I don't remember seeing it. Is that where Twinkling Watermelon came in first?

mari

itaewon class !

Bernice

GUYS PLEASE 2521!!!!!

Bernice

I have yet to watch Alchemy of Souls, but the Lovely Runner is kind of similar to Twinkling Watermelon, in that there is time travel. I still can't listen to BW's song without bawling like a baby!!!

ediee

CAN WE HAVE A SLIVHTLY RIDICULOUS ONE PLSSS. LIKE LOVELY RUNNER OR 2521

Bernice

I was surprised I enjoyed it as much as I did!!!

Jules99

When life gives you tangerines!!!!!

Jules99

WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU TANGERINES!!!

licht

If you want romance with a killer plot, I recommend: It's Okay to Not Be Okay (a psychological drama) or Happiness (a fast-paced survival thriller). The chemistry between the leads is insane in both!

Bernice

Business Proposal is a good reprieve from the tear jerker that was Twinkling Watermelon...

Jawad Ali Khan

Extracurricular and Death's Game. Both more in line with what you like rather then a majority of suggestions here. Strangers from Hell is a good suggestion too. I would also suggest you check out the Disney+ JDrama called Hannibal which is another one in the same vibe you like

Bernice

I could NOT finish Dear X. It was too much for my mental health. The FL did a phenomenal job pissing me off!!!

S

The worst of evil or our sticky love!!

Bernice

My first rom com kdrama. Absolutely fell in love with the leads. True Beauty was 2nd because of Cha Eun-Woo...

Jo

Crash landing on you, business proposal, 2521, Queen Of tears, Alchemy of souls, it’s okay to not be okay😌

Britt

A Shop for Killers, The Uncanny Counters, The Wonderfools, Moving, Lovely Runner, Sweet Home, Extraordinary Attorney Woo, Deaths Game. I think these would fit their liking more!!!

Bernice

If it's a sad storyline, they might also need a break since Twinkling Watermelon was a tear jerker.

Bernice

2521 is a nice reprieve for everyone.

Bernice

Let's just repeat this over and over every 5 minutes. ;)

Britt

Omg thank you!! When life gives you tangerine is heavy. 2125 I liked it but it’s not an exciting show! I def recommend the wonderfools as number 1 for now, it has action and great comedy.

Ryuken Fujiwara

Study Group (similar vibe to Weak Hero) and A Shop for Killers (similar vibe to Bloodhounds).

Louise

I don't think they'd be able to keep up with the time jumps! Otherwise a great choice!

Louise

Extraordinary Attorney Woo - Both serious and funny romcom When Life Gives You Tangerines - A slice of life drama covering 50 years+ Business Proposal - Very silly romcom but you root for both pairs of leads, especially the m/f 2nd leads! And how about a historical romcom Bon Appetite Your Majesty - a time travelling fantasy where a chef goes back to the Joseon era and becomes chef to a king, the food looks amazing!

Ryuken Fujiwara

1. The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call (2025) 2. The WONDERfools (2026) 3. Bon Appetit, Your Majesty (2025) 4. Agent Kim Reactivated (2026) 5. Itaewon Class (2020) 6. The Price of Confession (2025) 7. Tunnel (2017) 8. Signal (2016)

LexandraJo

Itaewon Class (uplifting story, and revenge), 2521 (wholesome at times, still a bit sad though), Mr. Plankton (dark, romance comedy, very sad but amazing story), Taxi Driver (mix of eveything, really loveable characters), Move to Heaven (different and quite a beautiful story)... there's too many! 😅😅

Jasper Osborne

The east palace would be very interesting for them to see

VM

Lovely Runner - Absolute favourite; rom com, time travel, yearning kind of romance Mr. Queen - another gem; best if you want romance and laughter in historical genre The East Palace - short one but good suspense/horror Fight For My Way - all rounder; romance, comedy, sport based storyline, wholesome vibe Can this love be Translated - one of the recent good ones; rom com with some of the best cinematography

RA

Great romcoms are Business Proposal, Lovely Runner or Sold Out on You. The actress who plays Ie-Chans grandma also acts in Sold Out on You. Perfect Crown is also amazing, IU acts on this show! If you want to know more about Korean food and a bit of Korean history, like the Joseon Dynasty, then Bon Appétit, Your Majesty is an amazing show. Hwarang in which V acts is also a must!!! Seojun also acts in this and Park Hyungsik (you will meet him while watching In The Soop: Friendcation). This serie started Taehyungs friendship with the Wooga squad, it is a must watch! I really hope you guys consider watching all these shows at some point. They're amazing!!!!

FAN KPOP GEN 2,3

Nonsense? It’s just a fictional comedy. It went viral back in 2016 and was all over YouTube and Facebook. If you enjoy the supernatural genre—specifically stories about a petite girl with superpowers—you’ll likely find it quite entertaining and funny.

The Worst of Evil - heavily underrated kdrama. Top 2 in my opinion

This is the perfect timing to react to this...plss guys

J-Lee

It's a waste of time if they pick it up then drop it. Since there are a lot of people hyping it up, we have to let out our comments why they should NOT pick it. Y'all know these three if you've been watching them for a long time now. And you should be able to understand why we think it'll be too corny and cringe for them, bcos it is 😩

J-Lee

Too immature for them. It's good at the time but not now 😭

J-Lee

TRAUMA CODE: Heroes on Call. Best to replace Teach You A Lesson. There are also very few episodes.

ari

PLEASE watch 2521 its right up your guys alley

Srly don’t care if have cringy ass parts. Some of them have this anime like concepts that are so cool to me, plus those kdramas went super viral online and actresses are top top for me 😭🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

1. Study Group (if you like kdrama with anime effects and this is on the same universe with Teach You A Lesson) 2. When Life Gives You Tangerine or Perfect Crown (different genre but same female lead which is IU- I hope you would appreciate her acting skills) 3. A Shop for Killers (I NEED U GUYS TO WATCH THIS I SWEAR THE BEST!) 4. Vincenzo 5. Sweet Home (this is mind blowing) 6. 2521 (Bittersweet) 7. Business Proposal (cringe but good romcom) 8. Moving (superpowers) 9. Agent Kim Reactivated (Revenge) 10. IF WISHES COULD KILL (Horror - wanted to see you guys react to horror kdrama)

HELLLL YEAHHHH OH MY GOSH! So many good recommendations in this comment section

Zahida Kadwa

Mouse (very different, but very interesting, While You Were Sleeping & Alchemy of Souls (personal favorites), Descendants of the Sun, Queen of Tears, Reply 1988, Crash Landing On You & Scarlet Heart Ryeo (iconic/classics), and Strong Woman Do Bong Soon for a good romcom... not sure if suggestions were to be limited to 2 if so, then this time around I'd say While You Were Sleeping & Strong Woman DBS (my taste/maybe you taste?)

Ohoh

GUYS 2521. You will NOT regret it. It’s a SPORTS LOVE ROM COM. The female protagonist does fencing. It’s sooo good.

Vincenzo and Agent Kim Reactivated

Kingdom Crash Landing on You Descendants of the Sun Sweet Home Strangers from Hell Agent Kim reactivated

Juvs Alhambra

If you want rom com with a twist lovely runner and strong woman do Bo song. Action is itaewon class or Vincenzo. Start up is good too but not too much action but rom com. Bona fide killer n agent Kim something are brand new and very good.

Juvs Alhambra

It won’t bore them but it’s on a heavy side and very emotional. If they want realistic and crying then they can give it a try. If not move to something lighter.

Bernice

I couldn't finish this psychological drama. I preferred The Manipulated probably because of the main leads. ;)

Bernice

They honestly couldn't go wrong with either choice!!!

Bernice

Currently watching. Loving it so far...

Bernice

I still can't listen to Sudden Shower without bawling!!!

Bernice

It has everything they'd want to see in a kdrama.

Bernice

Our Beloved Summer was mentioned on In The Soop: Friendcation.

Bernice

Yes and please!!!

Bernice

I almost posted this yesterday. Great minds think alike. :)

Oh wow. Yes Jung Hae-In is thee best at making you believe he isn't acting. I loved him in Something in the Rain and Snowdrop. I couldn't stop the tears. He's incredible!!!

This would be a great choice for all the suspense and action scenes. Both main leads are awesome in their roles!!!

Bernice

KSH is another incredible actor!!!

Bernice

I can't recommend this one enough!!!

Bernice

Yes he is. I can't believe how young he looks, but he really knows how to play his roles, whether the good guy or the villain...

Bernice

So if Business Proposal is chosen as promised previously, what is the next top choice besides WLGYT? Lovely Runner or Extraordinary Attorney Woo?

Bernice

They reacted to this last January.

GUYS PLEASE BUSINESS PROPOSAL!!! It’s a fun romcom like how you guys have been asking for without a bunch of traumatising topics going around. Nothing confusing either it’s literally just a Korean romcom that’s fun and fresh. It got the same amount of votes as twinkling watermelon last time so it’s only fair if you guys give it a chance!!

Zariah

Guys I dont think theyre gonna like WLGYT🍊. Lol its long and its just gonna get them yelled at for not paying attention😭

Vincenzo would be fun or Strong Woman Do Bong Soon!

How did Vincezo not even make it on the poll?? 🤦🏽‍♀️

cuesegue .

Didn’t they watch The Glory though? They seemed to manage that one well yeah?

Jeonnpatt.yy

Yes but they had a hard time..remembering names and they were lost most of the time. I just don’t want people that suggest it be mad later when they get confused and can’t remember the plot like in twinkling watermelon when they keep saying she was looking for her dad 😭

Rochelle Mendez

I'd be thrilled for you guys to watch the taxi driver season 1,2 and 3. It's satisfying to watch

mina

You clearly know nothing about their personalities lmao. They’ve been yearning for a normal romcom, instead you guys have been recommending these slow and confusing ones which they clearly complained about (specifically Charlie) in the first few episodes of twinkling watermelon when it wasn’t exciting.

Cam T Crowley

I know I'm a bit late, but Mr Queen! It has romance and loads of comedy, with just enough political intrigue. 💜
